Galaxy Cafe in Sutton

The service is good and the food is nice for a decent price. Good choice of food suitable for lunch and dinner too would recommend

I want to warn people of the disgusting treatment I received on Friday 21st June 2024. My wife and I walked into the premises that had bifold doors wide open and I was shouted at by a blond women who stated “I just moped that floor!” I said I’m sorry and said are you open and she, the blond woman, shouted back at me “we close at four!” So I walked out. I was standing outside the cafe with my wife when I heard the blond woman say to her female colleague “what an idiot!”obviously directed at me! There wasn’t sign to say they were closed and as the doors were open thought we could enter and have a nice meal as we have done on previous occasions. We, my wife and I, went to Dottys Tea House after where our receipt was printed 16.08 pm so clearly we went to Galaxy Cafe before 4pm. The boss needs to know about the “customer service” that isn’t on offer at his establishment. There should also be a sign stating “wet floor” because if we had slipped over the owner would be liable for a personal injury claim. We will never return to this place!

I would give this place a zero if I could!! My 2 year old and I arrived today at 11.15am (Tuesday) so not peak time!! The staff were chatting to each other and it took a while for them to come and take my order. Then I waited 25minutes for my food. It NEVER arrived and during these 25mins the staff were just looking at me and watch me wait for my food. I have NEVER had to wait 25mins for a burger and chips before so I went up to the desk to ask for an update and when they didn’t have anything to say so I told them to cancel my order. They had served 4 other people who arrived after me and they offered no apology for my long wait. They offered a take away to which I declined. They offered no explanation for not making my food but instead looking at me and watching me wait. I felt extremely uncomfortable with them watching me wait as if I was going to them for free food! I have never received such appalling service before. I’m cross with myself for wasting so much time waiting for food that wasn’t even made! I will definitely not be going here again!!!

Good value and friendly service, well worth a visit. Clean surroundings, tasty food what more could you ask for?

Galaxy Cafe is one of the best cafes we have been to. The food is great and the staff team are really friendly and very helpful. The menu is very extensive with plenty to choose from. We would like to mention the whole team who do such a wonderful job: Seref the Boss Adam the Chef Kevin the Chef Hurrem Rose the Waitress Please give this cafe a try, you won't be disappointed

I come to Carshalton every Saturday and no trip is complete without breakfast at Galaxy. We are always greeted with a smile and even though the place is bustling, a table is always clean and laid up as quickly as possible. Delicious, freshly cooked food with prices that make me wonder how they do it!! Well done to the team. Kevin, Rose, Adam, Seref and Hurrem. Five stars well deserved.

Myself and my wife had breakfast at about 9.30 September 20th and the food was great as usual but what made the difference was the great table service we received from a lady called Alacoque I do hope I got the name right she was so helpful and polite and all this with a nice smile. my experience at galaxy café was amazing the food was delicious came nice and hot my cup of tea was one of the best I've had this year the service was good the food didn't take long and the waiter was so polite when I was ordering the price of the food and drink was good did not spend to much money my kids loved their food and we will definitely be coming back soon.

An old man today had a small car crash down Carshalton High Street and was very shaken up afterwards - Galaxy Café refused to give him a chair to sit down on. Disgraceful behaviour, to deny an old man a seat when he was clearly upset. Goes without saying we will never support your business again in the future.

Met up with an old mate for breakfast. Excellent choices, 3 different veggie breakfasts and wide range of foods Proper tea too. Staff were polite and efficient.

A non-greasy spoon cafe, with a large variety of food available, from the fry ups to cottage pie, with some sweet treats thrown in for good measure. Cappucinos are excellent according to Husband, so much better value that costa lot across the road. H, the ever cheerful chap who waits on the customers, is a trained barista and it shows. Food is consistently good quality and great value. Lots of tables available and yes, there is a toilet :)

Yea recommended, big place plenty of seats. Clean and staff were good. Breakfast also good. not sure if there was a toilet.

This is the place for eats. Coffee is as good as Costa, cost less friendly staff good size meals. families welcome.
