Gaeta in East Riding of Yorkshire

I ordered onion rings for my friend ,and was horrified to be charged £4.20 for six onion rings ,really high price ,suprised to be fair considering how much you could buy a bag full from supermarket 🤬

firstly, there was inappropriate language coming from the kitchen. A Chef called Matthew wiped his nose on his bare hands and gave my food to the waiter to give to me and I opened the pizza box to see a bogie layed on top of my mushroom. And i took a bite out of the pizza to see a rather long leg coming out of it!!! IT WAS A SPIDER this is abseloutely appalling!!!! i want to have a refund.

After having to pay £4 for delivery even though I'm only 0.7ml away I was hoping for a decent feed but all that was delivered was dry overcooked stale chips and a loaded pepperoni pizza that had hardly any pepperoni on it I would never recommend this place to anyone very disappointed at the poor quality of the food from here.

I have just had the pleasure of trying the new curry menu, the chicken Balti and Korma was amazing we had Pilau rice and garlic naan too. Great addition to the existing offering. Well done

Found the staff to be “not bothered” !!!! This was the reply when I said I don’t think I’ll be coming here again. It is cash only and I commented “it’s a a bit ***t in this day and age not to accept cards”, maybe I shouldn’t have used the s***??

Very disappointed to find an insect with my pizza. Staff did not appear surprised when the order was returned.

Tried this place on a few occasions. sadly none ended well. wrong orders - items missing - delivered way way too late and i mean hours...and the food is not brilliant. sadly little local competition means they don't feel the need to improve their game. we now go else where....

When it first opened it was nice now it's terrible there's no other way to say it the food is awful had one bite of what was suppose to be chicken fillet and binned it chips tasted like they had been cooked in mucky fat total waste of money

Ordered a takeaway at 10:15 expecting it to be delivered within the next half an hour. I was wrong. Firstly, the order given was 2 pizzas, a kebab, wedges and coke, how we ended up with 2 chicken burgers and 2 portions of chips, no tomato sauce, I have no idea? As you can tell I am not best pleased. Shouldn't the price given on the phone be the same as when he gets to my door? Evidently not as it had risen to 3 pound more :( Sorry but will be ordering elsewhere next time xoxo oh and last time you forgot my drink and said you would give me a free one, this I am still waiting to receive

Living in the little village of Eggborough it was with delight that we saw Gaeta open up just over a year ago, now many take always later I feel we can provide a suitable view of most things on the menu Hygiene and service is consistently good and we have never thought we have been overcharged for a meal Salad is fresh and portions large enough for most appetites, although if really a big eater then try the Special Kebab on Naan Basic Indian curries as well as wide selection of pizzas and kid staple dishes such as chicken nuggets served till late, and can do home delivery too Local competition comes from Knottingley and Selby but to be honest in our opinion here is no better offering in either. Summary - good, dependable, fresh and value for money, what's not to like

Get a pizza every week and really enjoy so do the grandchidren.It is conveniently just across the road

Good local food at value prices. Shame it doesn't do Curry's but the burgers and pizza do the trick.

Ordered through Hungryhouse online for a Family night in, pizzas, chips, chicken in naan bread, calzone. ALL COLD and we only had it delivered a mile up the road. Everything had to go back in the oven. Part of the order was wrong, special instructions online not adhered to. The chicken was so bad we fed it to the dog. No discount or refund given as we had paid online. Offered a discount for cash next time. There won't be a next time as this was a 'benefit of the doubt order' because our first experience was also quite poor. Go to snaith or knottingley it's really not worth it.

Friendly service and great food, recommended. Good prices. It's a good takeaway what more can you say!

Had a few takeaways from here which have all been nice, recently tried the chicken tikka wrap which was delicious! Recommended.

A really clean establishment. Excellent service and really clean. Food superb! As a local will definitely use again. Great to have this take away so close to home (Hensall)
