Gabrielle's in York

Attracted to this diner when passing by such a beautifully coloured frontage blasting out American 50's music. Inside was as colourful as the front and entered a spacious retro American diner. Spoiled myself with a cookie dough cake (to share) and a tea and coffee. Excellent and speedy service Brough direct to your table. Would recommend to anyone visiting Redcar as a place to come.

We were walking along the sea front at Redcar and came across Gabrielles so we decided to go in for some ice cream. We ordered our ice cream. A waitress delivered to our table this delightful presentation of various flavours which looked amazing! Tasted delicious. The ambience was buzzing listening to 60's music. If ever you are in Redcar I would recommend a visit. Congratulations on service.Ice .

At around half past 4 today I took my family to the ice cream parlour after a walk along the beach, one member of staff was screaming at a younger member of staff working in there which I found quite appalling showing a significant lack of professionalism in front of many customers at the time, young staff members should not be treated like this due to the fact that they should be enjoying work at a young age ready for their future in the industry, me and my family watched the young girl cry for over an hour over whatever had happened, we found this incredibly poor from the older member of staff which therefore means that our opinion of Gabrielles as a whole isn’t great due to the shocking working environment

Lovely inside 50's theme going on booths to sit in too loads of choice we had ice cream sundaes quick fast service good atmosphere with music playing we all ate every bit of our sundaes would definitely go again.

We visit Gabrielle's frequently. The ice creams are always wonderful and staff are lovely, even when it is very busy. Birthday parties are well organised.

Went here with family & we all loved it. Service, food, music & atmosphere was really great. Love that we are supporting our own here in Redcar. Hoping your venture grows & prospers.

Couldnt tell whether the shop open or not, at around 9.20 pm. Music was on, but serving assistant was on his mobile outside on the pavement. I was just about to approach him to ask if they were open, but he turned and walked away. So I did the same...

Visited here with kids at about 7pm. Kids had waffles, milkshake and Ice-cream. Staff were excellent - polite and helpful. Food was enough for 10 at a decent price. This new venue was superb In term's of its decor. The American diner decor puts nearly all other venues within miles to shame. A new place for Redcar which deserves to be a success. People of Teesside need to get behind such a quality establishment!
