Fantastic Sunday Roast for Mother’s Day! We came here for a Sunday roast on Mother’s Day, and it was excellent. The food was delicious, and everyone really enjoyed it. We’ve had the Sunday roast here before, and it’s always a great experience.

Visiting family for Christmas rang ahead as needed to add an extra room on the day of arrival. Staff were lovely and said they had space and I could pay on arrival for extra room or book online which would be cheaper she took my name as I said I’d book online and she said she would keep an eye out for booking and put the extra room next to ours. Rooms were immaculate and everything we needed for a quick visit. Staff are so friendly and polite it’s great staying I the north all so friendly!

Their hospitality set the tone for what turned out to be a truly wonderful stay. The food was absolutely delicious—from a hearty, well-cooked breakfast to a delightful dinner, every meal was a treat. The service from Amy was exceptional; she was attentive, efficient, and always had a warm smile, ensuring that everything was perfect throughout my stay. The comfort of the bed was second to none, providing a restful and peaceful night’s sleep. Combined with the hotel’s beautiful surroundings in such a fantastic location, it made for an unforgettable experience. I will certainly be booking this hotel again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Durham.
