We went to fungs to night we will not going back there again food not nice salt and spare ribs over done

The chicken inside the chicken balls were pink, but the batter on the outside was burnt. The prawns were freezing cold and the chow mien had this horrible musty smell almost like cigarettes. Needless to say the whole lot went in the bin. This is the first time I’ve tried this place and will not be ordering again.

I order delivery from this restaurant. I always get what I ask for when I design my own dishes. The staff are very helpful. The food is of a very high quality and so much better than other local Chinese food outlets . Very good delivery time and very nice friendly staff. One of the best in town . But it's a shame not enough people order food with extra chilli so they have some in stock to perfectly design a dish

They offer many cuisines English as well Reasonable for price either visit or deliver If delivered food is always hot and aim to deliver in thirty minutes

Always reliable, punctual and very tasty. No other takeaway comes close. The spare ribs are fall off the bone lovely and the Singapore chow mein is nice and spicy.

Always have good food from here and the delivery service is really efficient. The food is always really hot.

Food wasn't great at all, I asked if the duck in plum sauce was crispy and was told it was but it wasn't, it was soggy and in a watery tasteless sauce. Portion was also very small. Satay sauce was watery too and tasteless. Chips were nice. Very disappointed and a waste of £15

Always good food and lovely polite people who run it.The children behind the counter are very well behaved and a joy to talk to.It is lovely to see them at work helping mum.Try this Chinese as it is lovely.

I haven’t used this takeaway for a while, preferring one closer to home but as my usual was closed decided to return to Fungs. I wished I hadn’t bothered. Being met by squealing kids from behind the desk, hardly able to place my order without shouting I wasn’t impressed. I’ve visited twice in December, giving it a second try as I thought the first bad meal was just bad luck.. it wasn’t. First meal was Chinese curry & fried rice. There was more onions than meat & the fried rice was just a stodgy mass & curry sauce wasn’t that tasteful either. My second visit I ordered sweet & sour chicken Hong Kong style with a beef fried rice. The batter on the chicken wasn’t cooked & barely clinging to the meat, sauce was tasteless & the rice again was stodgy. I used to always use this takeaway, perhaps I’ve been spoilt by the one closer to home. Not sure I want to give Fungs another try as I think other takeaways offer a better choice menu wise also. Sorry but it’s a shame..

We ordered our take away to be delivered; it was on time, well packed, fresh and hot. The lady who took our order was very helpful and advised us on portion sizes. We will certainly be using this take away again.

Had a Chinese Takeaway on Sat 14th January from Fungs Takeaway Stafford. I have had loads of meals from this place over the years and they have been quite good but this one was really really awful. It arrived with most of the meal cold after 40 minutes. Fortunately we had the oven on. The ribs had got hardly anything on them. The Curry we had was weak. The boiled rice was over cooked and hard. The Chicken in Black Bean Sauce was like water and didn't taste of anything. The Chips were old, hard and cold. The only nice thing was the Prawn Crackers. Disgusting. It wasn't worth the £22 we paid for it. Won't back again.

Ordered food for home delivery. Starter and main course. Starter fine. Ordered Beef with green peppers in a black bean sauce with egg fried rice. What I ate as my main resembled nothing like what was expected? I did not expect any of the following, red peppers, yellow peppers, water chestnuts, bamboo shoots, carrots, onion chunks. Surely only vegetables used would be GREEN PEPPERS and BLACK BEANS? Spoke to owner/manager/Chef and his reply was "In Chinese cooking we use lots of different vegetables" Unfortunately I was not expecting them all in a meal only requiring 2 of them.

Food was delivered rather tasteless and forgot the sauces for 2 dishes ordered. Won't be in a rush to use again

Absolutely yummy food. We have never had a bad meal from here it will always arrive piping hot and full of flavour. If you need anything amending they will always accomodate and be really helpful. Keep up the good work Fungs we will be placing a our usual again this weekend!!!
