Good quality tasty food. Fast service

October 2023-Zoe is great front of house, so asked to see kitchen /family owner to complain about my meal. No apology just argumentative yet their crispy chicken is 90% batter.She picked through 5 pieces before saying "there chicken?" Used this take away for a long time and prices has risen, which is to be expected but the portions has reduced and quality has gone done down hugely in my opinion. You have lost a returning customer that comes back , even after multiple 6 month closures , not any more , disgusting porton of batter for the money thats obviously now "bought in" frozen and deep fried to cut costs and after sales service is non existent and down right rude.

First time using Fu House, we had chicken and mushroom curry which was very nice the chilli chip were lovely, very nice meal will be trying other dishes on the menu, thanks Fu House.

Been looking for decent oriental takeaway since moving to Tamworth (2yrs now), and I think we've found it. The food was fabulous, soups (chicken & sweetcorn and hot n spicy) are thick and flavours were great. Main meals (crispy beef & szechuan special) both really nice and enough for 1.5 meals with a side order. The complimentary bag of prawn crackers also done really nicely, thick, crispy and good flavour. Hopefully, this will be repeated on the next order with them.

Best chinese for flavour, taste and price.

First time ordering from here will now be using this as our go too. Lovely food would highly recommend.

Food good tasty n not expensive

Can't complain about the service but the food's a little underwhelming We had ,Yuk sung very nice and would recommend. Special chow mein, not so nice with one of the meats it contained being spam. So not very special 😕 Lemon chicken, the chicken was fine but the sauce was pasty in texture and not very nice. It's the second time I used this take out , when visiting family and in fairness it was ok the first visit, hence my second visit. Not so sure that I will be making a third .

Receptionist is very rude, for some reason has a chip on her shoulders, food is lovely when they are open or decide to answer, won't be placing another order until you have new staff

When we got home and tried the food, I had to chuckle to myself of the irony that they have "The cooking channel" on in the front of shop. It was truly grim and my other half couldn't eat it... the only way the "special" curry could have had more grease in it was if you took the lid off and John Travolta and Olivia Newton John jumped out and started singing "You're the one that I want". If you find hardly any meat and the curry just packed out with veg; and the meat you do get being tough and tasteless "Special" then yes, it was very special. Simon Weston wasn't burnt as badly as the fried rice, rock hard grains and looked like it had been stuck to the bottom of the wok and scraped off. The only thing in the chilli garlic diced beef that I could agree with that it was actually beef.... it was neither spicy, garlicky or diced.... it was spare ribs chucked on some random stuff. Spicy chips... not spicy, this time with some random stuff chucked on top. Even when I offered it to the dog he looked at me like I was an absolute sausage..... won't be going back.

Lovely Chinese, hot food that’s always full of flavour and good quality. Quick service too. Always our first choice! Only downside is it is a bit more expensive than some of the others but guess you pay for quality!

Always an amazing Chinese takeout. Best one around Tamworth. Only down side is that they sometimes only take cash and you have to fetch it but in my opinion, it is absolutely worth it

We’ve lived in tamworth for 3 years now and not found a decent chinese take away and because of this we usually drive to Sutton for our chinese. We decided to try Fu House tonight after word of mouth that it was nice and I think this will be our new regular chinese take away. Food was delicious. I don’t usually bother with reviews but this one definitely deserves a mention! Thank you.

Best Chinese we have tried in Tamworth

We've been searching for a decent Chinese take away since we moved to tamworth almost a year ago, we've tried a few but gave up as they just didn't do it for us, we decided to give fu house a try and it didn't disappoint! Very accommodating and tasty food. Thank you!

Tried lots of Chinese over the years but these are the best all the kids enjoy too so great all round fast delivery and lovely lady on telephone order allways correct and warm will definitely tell anyone to try you guys

Absolutely amazing! Best Chinese I've ever had. All fresh and sooo tasty . 100% recommend ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐+

On a whole the food was awful. We ordered spicy Singapore rice and chow mien which was not at all spicy but very greasy, The prawn toast and chilli salted ribs were the worse part of the order they were both so over cooked. Never again

How can a business just close up for four months at the busiest time of the year. Clearly don’t need the trade.

Always a great meal. Just sorry they are closing till 18th March. Cant wait for them to open again. Very good value for money.

This is the best Chinese in Tamworth. I've lived here for a couple of years and tried all the ones on Just Eat and Uber Eats, Fu House blows them out of the water. Better flavour, fresh ingredients perfectly cooked, cheaper too. Highly recommended.

My most favourite chinese in tamworth. Crispy chicken with the satay sauce is a absolute must.

Quick (from phoning order to order being ready was about 15 minutes) Provide delivery service. Only negative is they are cash only, but this still seems the norm for local Chinese takeaways. I'd prefer card payments to be accepted.

Absolutely disgusting place, food is prepared outside and left outside for hours in warm temperatures. This place should be shut down, i wouldn't eat from here if my life depended on it

We used Fu House for the first time this evening. Beef, noodles in hoisin sauce, water chestnuts & bamboo shoots, duck curry etc etc. I can honestly say at the age of 42 this is the best chinese meal I have ever eaten. It was absolutely delicious, we will certainly be back soon. Thank you...

Good menu choice and fast efficient service. My only negative comment is reference the opening hours as they are not open when pubs and bars close.

Was expecting good things as it has 4.4 stars. Not impressed at all. Asked for chicken chow mein but with rice noodles and was given the Singapore vermicelli. Not what I asked for. Salt and chilli chicken not spicy. 2 lemon chicken with 2 pots of sauce.both different colour! Chicken curry was really bland! Nice chips tho! Wont be going back.

Excellent food—the fresh veg ingredients especially good. Victims of their own success: At peak times they find it difficult to cope with the demand. Despite this, prices very reasonable.

Our local Chinese takeaway was never a massive fan of Chinese food but since trying fu house love it now if collecting yourself it's cash only no card reader in the takeaway
