The food is very high standard great menu and the staff are very welcoming and friendly . salt and chilli chicken is delicious so is the English roast chicken and chips with onions mushrooms peas and gravy

Phoned for takeaway, lady could not understand a word I was saying, delivery person was there at the time, so he took my delivery details, they was quick, I felt a little meen not giving tip at door, but the chips tasted like they had been cooked more than once, the chicken was, well not like chicken, and the price, for, egg fried rice, chicken curry, prawn crackers, and cardboard, sorry chips. £16.90, well over priced.

Use this chinese on a regular basis service and customer service is appalling especially as we are loyal customers, just received our delivery, advised wait time would be approx 40 mins an 1 hour and 30 minutes later the delivery arrived, I had contacted the restaurant, everything is stone cold and inedible, the chips are wet as are the chicken balls both totally soggy!! The excuse is that they are busy, in that case employ more drivers don't send out drivers with so many deliveries that by the time he gets to the end of the orders everything is freezing especially as they dont store things in heat bags to keep warm, it's not the first time either but have given them the benefit of the doubt previously. Asked me to send everything back so wanted me to wait home for the driver to return (god knows when that would be), I explained the meal is dished up on our plates, everything has been binned total waste of £44 ! Terrible experience terrible customer service, NEVER AGAIN!! Such a shame!

Number 1 Chinese in Tamworth, very tasty food friendly staff and drivers, would highly recommend.

We ordered and it turned up quite quickly food was okay but we were concerned about the way the chicken looked and tasted so left alot the next day we were fighting for the toilet and couldn’t leave the house.. safe to say we wont be ordering again. I did phone the restaurant to tell them and the giggled and said they haven’t had any other complaints on the chow main, confused and needing to rush too the toilet again i left it and put the phone down

When I ordered was told 45 mins it then went over an hour rang up to see if my food had been sent out was told it had then still waited another 20mins to when my food arrived was great

The customer service and polite well mannered communication is second to none and has been for many years (unlike the other local Chinese). The food is spot on and fast too! After using them for like the 100th time I thought it be criminal not to leave a review to show the appreciation of this takeaways service. Thank you Dragon Express!

Reasonable prices with fast and friendly service. Food a bit bland with soft and not very tasty ingredients. Shame as there's a lot to like about the place otherwise.

The food was lovely, nice and very warm, this is the first time I ordered and I would definitely recommend. The driver was really nice and we had a little christmas present of the restaurant. Very good first impression 👍

Won't be using anymore, foods nice but you only get half a tub now for more money. Used to get a full tub, very disappointing.

I very rarely give 5 stars for a takeaway, but had to for this one. Vegetable Singapore vermicelli, crispy shredded beef, egg fried rice and small prawn crackers for £18.30. The best Chinese food I've had for a few years. Will definitely use again

I ordered here for Father’s Day Iast year and the delivery was on time , but the food was rubbish,so I haven’t ordered here since.Yesterday I thought about ordering food here again for Father’s Day,but the ribs and fried that were delivered made my whole family collapse.The ribs were black and hard, and the fries were too dry to eat,so I had to throw them in the trash.

Really disappointed. Chips tasted stale and re heated. Chicken chow mein had very little chicken and tasted dry. It’s a shame, because previous meals were good.

They told me to piss off when I didn't have the right change

Very rude manager. I've used this Chinese on and off over the years and always been very happy with their service and food. However today I was passing and saw the door open but the shutters to the windows down. Checking Google it said it was open at 5:30pm and, as it was almost that time, I poked my head in the doorway to ask if they were open for takeaway. First and only response was an elderly fella came from round the back of the counter shouting at me "WE AINT OPEN!!" and gesturing for me to clear off!! When I asked what time as the Internet says they are due open any moment he shouted "WE NOT OPEN! WE ARE CLOSED TODAY OK!!". Clearly I've caught him at at bad moment in his life (or day) and so bear this in mind next time you want to spend your hard earned money there. I've now edited the opening times for Monday's so nobody else has to experience the wrath of the manager when you ask a simple opening time question lol
