Took my kids for a treat meal, the food took over an hour and half to come out and it was disgusting it was severely over cooked, we were so gutted

Been few times food was lovely staff polite and helpful garden rea is safe fort the children and secure

Clean and staff are very friendly. They couldn’t fo enough. Chef was fantastic good was fresh and piping hot will definitely return

Food great do not change the menu many thanks

We come here once a week to meet with family. Great welcoming environment especially with kids. Very friendly staff. The only thing I would say is the service for drinks could be more quicker.

Dirty floors tables sticky dog should not be allowed in eating area thank you for your reply I am very fussy about where I eat it must be spotless and my own dog is not allowed in the kitchen when we are cooking or eating

Nice atmosphere, great service from Gail, AJ and Stephen, Had a cheese and bacon burger it was lovely and the presentation was good. Wait time was acceptable. Would recommend this place if you want a nice family meal. Would definitely come again.

Been here few time and can honesty say I have never had a bad meal. Staff are very pleasant and will help in any way they can. Prices are very good and get a good meal for that price. The challenges are good to I know don't get free meal or half price but get certificate and picture on wall but don't be fooled theses are good size challenges.

My hubby and I had a lovely roast dinner meal at the Amington Inn today, Amy and AJ were very attentive and friendly ensuring our meal was fantastic as well as ensuring when my preferred dessert choice was not available another lovely dessert was offered and highly recommended, enjoyed and i got an extra portion too 🙂all round great place to eat and drink for all ages

After a very poor experience recently we returned to try their Sunday dinner which was very nice, tasty and great value for money...we will be returning! Staff were really helpful and friendly too, 10/10.

Amazing place to eat drink food is spot on staff are great will always accommodate we have been many a times and they always find us a table even when they are busy. prices are the cheapest we have found. We went to a pub down the road and the food and drink was more expensive not as friendly as here.

Had a lovely meal this afternoon. Friendly, efficient service and the food was delicious. The outdoor space is also perfect for the little ones.

Came with family for a birthday meal, very happy to say great service from Bobbi, pleasant young lady 😁 and AJ who was happy to help us. Food was very tasty,l had the lasagna which was delicious, Steak and ale pie also a delicious meal. Overall a very good experience 😃 would recommend a visit ☺️

Friendly service, food was great!

Had a big family meal here on Saturday- all 8 of us said how good the food was! It was great fun, brilliant staff who dealt with complex orders, all food brought out together, piping hot and beautifully presented. Busy staff were so polite and patient when we were ordering etc. We will certainly visit again the next time we are in Tamworth! One of the best nights out we have had in ages. Looking forward to eating here again! 5 stars from all the family!

Amy served us tonight and had a bubbly attitude, appeared calm and happy to help despite being very busy in the pub! Steak was cooked to perfection and the other staff behind the bar were very friendly. We travelled from north of Scotland for a family dinner and would recommend to any locals or anyone staying locally and looking for a nice atmosphere and great food!

Fantastic little lunch here. Visited today after a flying trip on the high ropes at the Planter’s Garden Centre. Planter’s food not justified in cost so I googled where was local and stumbled across here! Plenty of parking to the front, warm welcome upon entering and fabulous food which was great value for money. Catered for all ages for our party ranging from age 7 upto age 70! Would definitely visit again when in the area! Highly recommend.

Good food, expensive drinks. Although is a green king pub i have never ever drank a good pint of Abbot.

Lovely food and and all meals came out together 8 adults and 4 children.

Not for me but then I'm used to a quiet country pub with a choice of beer. Friendly staff the pint had was ok

A few issues with food and slow service but the staff were friendly and apologetic.

Went for lunch with my two teenage kids. Pub in a great size, with plenty of seating and large outdoor area. Nothing was too much trouble for Gail, AJ or Cheree, with lots of substitutions and picky orders (kids) and the customer service was top notch. The food quality was also spot on, tasted fresh and good portion size. We will deffo return for another visit.

The staff served us wonderful drinks and a delicious dessert. Our main meals were good except my partner had the chicken strips starter and he had to discard one from his mouth as he thought it was underdone. But over all we had a wonderful time and will come here again in future!

Staff are all friendly, food was very enjoyable, cooked perfectly. Will be revisiting quite soon

Sirloin steak medium rare, cooked to perfection with all the trimming. 3Complement to the chef. Staff friendly, nothing is to much trouble for them. Highly recommended.

Went with my husband after coming from Ventura so just typed in Google for a pub local to us and it brought us here. Never been before and certainly won't be the last time. Beautiful food and service great too. Thank you 👍

I'm a regular at the amington Inn and every time I come in I'm always greeted with a smile and they know my order off by heart now. I'm sometimes lucky enough to get table service when it's not bust because they know what I have. Anna is brilliant always says hello. Friendly pub with friendly people

Lucy was very attentive and came out with a cake all candles lit we nearly had to call the fire brigade there was that many candles!!!. Lol thankyou everyone for a lovely meal and great service!!. Rachel x

Came for lunch with my sister in law and ordered a XL mixed grill and a halloumi flatbread. My steak was cooked very well exactly how I ordered it. Would highly recommend. The staff are so welcoming and friendly, was greeted by Lucy and Gail, Aj and Amy brought us out our food and Aj checked up on us to see how our meals were and obviously they were delicious. Would like to give thanks to the chefs who cooked our meals Chez and Ash. Perfectly cooked and well presented. 100% will be coming back soon!

Absolutely disgusting food. 3 out of 3 meals sent back. I went to the chippy over the road spent half the money and got a good feed. Miserable place gone to the dogs

Amington is our local now we go regularly . we had a great family meal. Anna looked after us she couldn’t do enough. There was 11 of us 👏to the chef all. wales were perfect. l would reccomend it.
