Cosy Coffee in Tamworth

Cosy Coffee is very conveniently located in Tamworth town centre a great place for a coffee and something to eat. Spacious and well laid out there is also an upstairs area. There are a wide range of books you can explore if you just fancy a coffee and a quiet read, this place is ideal. The staff are polite and friendly.

In for our first time. Very busy inside and out. Just adds to why I love Tamworth. Real coffee with that love added. I"ll be coming back. Real mugs. Lots oe people of all ages. A couple of hours later, still spreading the news of the coffee shop.

Had two jacket potatoes—very large, generous fillings, and great value for a sit-down meal.

Great place to eat, good food and fast efficient service. Dog friendly and spacious environment so you don't feel "packed in".

Brilliant place just started working in Tamworth and this place gets a weekly visit. In fact it is so good I forgive them for making a mistake on my initial order

Its OK, it was cleaner than it used to be. The milk shakes are now tiny...not good value for money. The shop was quiet with only downstairs open. There were plenty of workers but still too ages to get cake ,milkshakes and coffee served. Wasn't massively impressed tbh. Nice decor.

Great food well presented slightly expensive but not overly priced Would highly recommend and will go back

The best breakfast and their coffee is better than Cossta coffee. I go to this establishment very often.

What a wonderful place to go for a nice breakfast! My husband mom and I had a lovely morning with some great food! Portions are great, the décor of the café adds to the experience and it's a dog friendly place too! Our next visit I shall definitely bring my little guy with me! I highly recommend this café.

We have being going into this cafe for a number of years for a coffee or tea and we have previously had a meal. However we may pop in now and again for a drink and tea cake but wouldn't have a meal as it us now too dog friendly. It is not so bad if the dog is well behaved and under the table, but of late we have actually seen dogs sitting on people's laps therefore their heads are level with table which I don't think is acceptable from a food hygiene level. We now tend to use another cafe

Went for a deluxe hot chic with my son, when I watched the girls make them they grabbed a handful of marshmallows with bare hands … no gloves!!!! When I asked “what makes these deluxe” the waitress said “I don’t know” and walked off. When I left, I said to the waitress “ they were probably the worst hot chocks I’ve had” she replied with “thanks”. Won’t be returning!!!!! Won’t be recommending!!!!

What a great find on Tamworth High street. A lovely cafe with quirky decor and drinks brought to table (no standing around waiting for drinks to be made like other coffee houses) A fab place to chill and catch up with friends.

I have never known a place like this in my life. They refused to serve my son because of his allergies, and all the staff said there manager told them not tp serve people with allergies, I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I get they have to b carefully but to full blown refuse to serve u even a jacket and beans for my child was disgusting.

Visited yesterday as a new to working in Tamworth. Had to review as the food was great and the staff so friendly. The whole atmosphere at this establishment was spot on. A real little gem. Thank you, I will definitely be back 👍

Quirky cafe. Had the light breakfast and a latte, which did the job.

The nicest staff there are. Always welcoming always friendly. Food is OK. The Staff make the place not the food.

Quick service. Smiling staff, as in actually happy. Polite and very welcoming. Coffee excellent. Food great at reasonable price. Might not be hip as Seattle tax Dodgers or costalot but seems a real asset to the community and not shareholders. If in Tamworth. Go here and support a genuine business not corporate slackies

An incredible, authentic Vietnamese coconut iced coffee - the most authentic I’ve had in the UK. And fresh, tasty food. Nice for a quick stop while shopping.

This place has seriously improved. They have gone from being " just another cafe" to a really good place to eat, drink & chat, including with the staff. Atmosphere here is much better than it used to be. Last week i had a good laugh with most of the staff & the best coffee & sandwich ive had in a long time. Added bonus was they also sell sweets from the big jars. Win win win!!!!

In a short visit to Tamworth.. Great cafe, found by chance and whilst tying my dog up outside to nip in to get a sandwich they called us in. Lexi even got a dog sausage :-) great to find a really dog friendly establishment. Needless to say Lexi is leading us here every dayfor lunch. Its worth it! Service is good, the staff are really welcoming esp Sarah, the the food and cakes are lovely as is the tea. Well worth a visit.

Really enjoyed our visit here, really nice place for a coffee and a snack meal, prices reasonable too. Food came out quickly although the place was quite busy. Loved the decoration inside would certainly visit again.

Great service and superb value food 👌 atmosphere is always cosy great cult wall decor plenty of seats with an upstairs which also has a kids area for some play time for kids. Very comfy seating. Well, it's worth a visit.

Lovely bright and quick service . Decorated like an American diner . Coach seats and great variety of cakes, breakfasts and lunches . Great prices lovely atmosphere abd friendly staff . Busy and happy place to have a break from shopping . Upstairs as well . Clean toilets I had a regular latte coffee and a pasta de nata custard tart it was £5.95

The cafe is interesting with regard to decor. Food decent. Prices OK. TABLES DIRTY! Not cleaned regularly - sticky surface. Table mats stuck to table. The manager needs to keep on top of this!

A superb venue, clean, superb staff, and great food. Open decent hours, and if you meet a young lady called Sarah, she is absolutely fantastic, an excellent ambassador for this business. This is a walk to venue, but it is near multiple parking locations, and it is in a pedestrian zoned area on the main high street.

Ordered 2 drinks to drink inside after 20 minutes waiting I went to the counter to ask where the drinks were. Was told takeaway orders were looked after first. After another 15 minutes of waiting I asked for a refund. Avoid unless you have half a day to waste

Beautiful little coffee house we had tea cakes a coffee an a pot of tea .. They were putting up Halloween decorations as we sat outside watching the world go by.. service was so fast which was outstanding

Disappointing, service slow, pricey, tasteless coffee and very skimpy with the chocolate on cappuccino.

Trying for the first time due to regular being too busy, surprisingly comfortable and good atmosphere, plenty of walk in customer's. Prices are a little higher for the items' sausage and egg toasted sandwich £3.80 (cheap sausage, broken egg, and medium bread)... but well pleased due to staff friendly and helpful, tidying up tables. We will be back but will have the light breakfast next time as it works out cheaper than a sandwich. Keep up the good work, and you'll be busy throughout the festive season ......5 🌟 🤩 ⭐️

Lovely quirky place to go for lunch or quick bite to eat. Food is great quality and reasonably priced. Been several times when I go shopping in Tamworth.

The food was good for price; despite extra bacon for free. The bacon was slightly hard and rubbery. The Bread felt fresh, cooked and nicely served. Otherwise. I had a Chocolate Milkshake with Whipped Cream - this was a great for the price and one of the best I’ve tasted. However the toilets weren’t the better stages but still very nicely themed.

The waiting staff were friendly enough and took our orders quickly. However I ordered a sausage and tomato toasted sandwich on Brown, my friend ordered a bacon and egg toasted sandwich on Brown, and 2 teas. Unfortunately both the bacon and the sausage had been pre-cooked at some stage and then reheated for our sandwiches. They were horrible, they tasted rubbery and chewy. At £14 it wasnt cheap. I wont be going again

Went with my sisters yesterday for lunch whilst visiting Tamworth. Absolutely loved it!! Food fantastic , staff are all amazing , happy, friendly and helpful. Chief is also lovely and engages with his customers. Quality food at very good value. Tableware is beautiful and the cafe is clean and very interesting and inviting! I wish we had one in Burton. 5*

Had the club sandwich it was horrible hardly any chicken or bacon and had such a wired taste there was hair in my salad only good thing was my latte don't think I will have food here again was expensive for what you get too

Love it here, great food and lovely friendly staff. Dog friendly my 3 labs were so chilled here.

Very satisfied overall, very,very popular with the staff of Good Hope Hospital, the only downside was how the customers lined up to be served at the counters, access to the toilets by wheelchair was awkward so too was the tables and chairs making the customers weave in and out in the queue.

Pop in every Saturday for a bacon buttie and a fruit tea. Buttie made just as I like it and tea in a real cup and saucer. Staff friendly and helpful

I often meet up with friends here, the staff are always so friendly and helpful, the atmosphere is really nice with lots of books to read while you have your coffee! Quiet upstairs area, quirky decor, tasty food, overall a great place! Highly recommend the cheesecake (pictured)!

Wow! Love this place cannot fault any of it. The staff are sooo lovely and polite a credit to this business. Just love the eclectic mix of the decor, absolutely fabulous. Sooo much to look at. Would like a wider choice on the menu for vegetarians but i did not really care too much as the place was soooo nice. My partner really enjoyed his beef stew. Really nice to see mugfuls of coffee too. Hopefully will visit again when in this area, really enjoyable to eat and drink in this superb cafe/museum!

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, however the waiting time could be improved upon had to wait a long time for a panini. I completely understand things happen but I would have preferred to be communicated across.

Gets quite busy. The only downside is that when you leave you come out smelling of fried food as it smells quite bad in there. Not sure if they have adequate extractor fans in there. It certainly feels like they don't

Only had a coffee but the service and quality of the drink were excellent.

Went in for breakfast last weekend. At first it looked ok, we ordered our food and that's when it all went wrong . The bacon looked like it had been microwaved and left on the side,the bread was the cheapest they could find and the egg was cold.I don't mind paying the price of anything if I think it's worth it but £5 for a 50p sandwich is a joke.I sent it back and got a refund....

They sell sweets in jars. . It reminded me of Costa a bit here, with the food at the counter, but there was a menu on the table for other things too. Very pleasant, fantastic seating upstairs, a real assortment of curiosity to look at, took you back in time a bit. It seemed like they had really thought it all out, something for everyone. The only thing I didn't like is the coffee mugs, I like drinking from a thinner mug.

Nice independent cafe in the centre of Tamworth serving coffee, tea and hot chocolate together with an extensive food menu. Inside and pavement seating together with being dog friendly. Don't forget to ask for your customer loyalty card.

Service was pretty fast for a busy Sunday afternoon. Portion sizes are good, food was nice and hot. Tea cozy was a cute touch. Atmosphere was very pleasant and we will be returning soon!

I had the vegetarian breakfast. After a very minor issue which was resolved very efficiently and handled very well by the staff. I really enjoyed the breakfast and coffee. I will happily go again next time I'm in the town with time to eat.

Horrible stale smell in the seating area. The table we were on was sticky.the coffee was rank.the breakfasts we orderd were cold and well over priced.theres some lovely cafés in tamworth but this must be the worst.

Nice place full of old fashioned items foods ok but it needs a damn good clean especially the stairs and toilet (only one) and silly little bolt to lock the door which never works. Ventilationn badly needed upstairs as all heat and cooking smells end up there and your hair and clothes smell when you leave. Nice friendly service tho. Ok not has a 2 star food hygiene rating too.
