Quick service. Smiling staff, as in actually happy. Polite and very welcoming. Coffee excellent. Food great at reasonable price. Might not be hip as Seattle tax Dodgers or costalot but seems a real asset to the community and not shareholders. If in Tamworth. Go here and support a genuine business not corporate slackies

An incredible, authentic Vietnamese coconut iced coffee - the most authentic I’ve had in the UK. And fresh, tasty food. Nice for a quick stop while shopping.

Food is absolutely amazing, the light breakfast is the best I’ve ever tasted and cappuccino is to die for. Staff service is exceptional.

This place has seriously improved. They have gone from being " just another cafe" to a really good place to eat, drink & chat, including with the staff. Atmosphere here is much better than it used to be. Last week i had a good laugh with most of the staff & the best coffee & sandwich ive had in a long time. Added bonus was they also sell sweets from the big jars. Win win win!!!!

In a short visit to Tamworth.. Great cafe, found by chance and whilst tying my dog up outside to nip in to get a sandwich they called us in. Lexi even got a dog sausage :-) great to find a really dog friendly establishment. Needless to say Lexi is leading us here every dayfor lunch. Its worth it! Service is good, the staff are really welcoming esp Sarah, the the food and cakes are lovely as is the tea. Well worth a visit.

Very nice breakfast. Love the omelette and the side salad. Nice scrambled egg too. Great atmosphere, very busy, lovely coffee. I do recommend!

Really enjoyed our visit here, really nice place for a coffee and a snack meal, prices reasonable too. Food came out quickly although the place was quite busy. Loved the decoration inside would certainly visit again.

Great service and superb value food 👌 atmosphere is always cosy great cult wall decor plenty of seats with an upstairs which also has a kids area for some play time for kids. Very comfy seating. Well, it's worth a visit.

Busy and happy place to have a break from shopping . Upstairs as well . Clean toilets I had a regular latte coffee and a pasta de nata custard tart it was £5.95

The cafe is interesting with regard to decor. Food decent. Prices OK. TABLES DIRTY! Not cleaned regularly - sticky surface. Table mats stuck to table. The manager needs to keep on top of this!

A superb venue, clean, superb staff, and great food. Open decent hours, and if you meet a young lady called Sarah, she is absolutely fantastic, an excellent ambassador for this business. This is a walk to venue, but it is near multiple parking locations, and it is in a pedestrian zoned area on the main high street.

Ordered 2 drinks to drink inside after 20 minutes waiting I went to the counter to ask where the drinks were. Was told takeaway orders were looked after first. After another 15 minutes of waiting I asked for a refund. Avoid unless you have half a day to waste

Beautiful little coffee house we had tea cakes a coffee an a pot of tea .. They were putting up Halloween decorations as we sat outside watching the world go by.. service was so fast which was outstanding

Disappointing, service slow, pricey, tasteless coffee and very skimpy with the chocolate on cappuccino.

Trying for the first time due to regular being too busy, surprisingly comfortable and good atmosphere, plenty of walk in customer's. Prices are a little higher for the items' sausage and egg toasted sandwich £3.80 (cheap sausage, broken egg, and medium bread)... but well pleased due to staff friendly and helpful, tidying up tables. We will be back but will have the light breakfast next time as it works out cheaper than a sandwich. Keep up the good work, and you'll be busy throughout the festive season ......5 🌟 🤩 ⭐️

Lovely quirky place to go for lunch or quick bite to eat. Food is great quality and reasonably priced. Been several times when I go shopping in Tamworth.

The food was good for price; despite extra bacon for free. The bacon was slightly hard and rubbery. The Bread felt fresh, cooked and nicely served. Otherwise. I had a Chocolate Milkshake with Whipped Cream - this was a great for the price and one of the best I’ve tasted. However the toilets weren’t the better stages but still very nicely themed.

The waiting staff were friendly enough and took our orders quickly. However I ordered a sausage and tomato toasted sandwich on Brown, my friend ordered a bacon and egg toasted sandwich on Brown, and 2 teas. Unfortunately both the bacon and the sausage had been pre-cooked at some stage and then reheated for our sandwiches. They were horrible, they tasted rubbery and chewy. At £14 it wasnt cheap. I wont be going again

Went with my sisters yesterday for lunch whilst visiting Tamworth. Absolutely loved it!! Food fantastic , staff are all amazing , happy, friendly and helpful. Chief is also lovely and engages with his customers. Quality food at very good value. Tableware is beautiful and the cafe is clean and very interesting and inviting! I wish we had one in Burton. 5*

Had the club sandwich it was horrible hardly any chicken or bacon and had such a wired taste there was hair in my salad only good thing was my latte don't think I will have food here again was expensive for what you get too

Very satisfied overall, very,very popular with the staff of Good Hope Hospital, the only downside was how the customers lined up to be served at the counters, access to the toilets by wheelchair was awkward so too was the tables and chairs making the customers weave in and out in the queue.

Pop in every Saturday for a bacon buttie and a fruit tea. Buttie made just as I like it and tea in a real cup and saucer. Staff friendly and helpful

I often meet up with friends here, the staff are always so friendly and helpful, the atmosphere is really nice with lots of books to read while you have your coffee! Quiet upstairs area, quirky decor, tasty food, overall a great place! Highly recommend the cheesecake (pictured)!

Wow! Love this place cannot fault any of it. The staff are sooo lovely and polite a credit to this business. Just love the eclectic mix of the decor, absolutely fabulous. Sooo much to look at. Would like a wider choice on the menu for vegetarians but i did not really care too much as the place was soooo nice. My partner really enjoyed his beef stew. Really nice to see mugfuls of coffee too. Hopefully will visit again when in this area, really enjoyable to eat and drink in this superb cafe/museum!

Gets quite busy. The only downside is that when you leave you come out smelling of fried food as it smells quite bad in there. Not sure if they have adequate extractor fans in there. It certainly feels like they don't

Only had a coffee but the service and quality of the drink were excellent.

Went in for breakfast last weekend. At first it looked ok, we ordered our food and that's when it all went wrong . The bacon looked like it had been microwaved and left on the side,the bread was the cheapest they could find and the egg was cold.I don't mind paying the price of anything if I think it's worth it but £5 for a 50p sandwich is a joke.I sent it back and got a refund....

They sell sweets in jars. . It reminded me of Costa a bit here, with the food at the counter, but there was a menu on the table for other things too. Very pleasant, fantastic seating upstairs, a real assortment of curiosity to look at, took you back in time a bit. It seemed like they had really thought it all out, something for everyone. The only thing I didn't like is the coffee mugs, I like drinking from a thinner mug.

Nice independent cafe in the centre of Tamworth serving coffee, tea and hot chocolate together with an extensive food menu. Inside and pavement seating together with being dog friendly. Don't forget to ask for your customer loyalty card.

Service was pretty fast for a busy Sunday afternoon. Portion sizes are good, food was nice and hot. Tea cozy was a cute touch. Atmosphere was very pleasant and we will be returning soon!

I had the vegetarian breakfast. After a very minor issue which was resolved very efficiently and handled very well by the staff. I really enjoyed the breakfast and coffee. I will happily go again next time I'm in the town with time to eat.

Horrible stale smell in the seating area. The table we were on was sticky.the coffee was rank.the breakfasts we orderd were cold and well over priced.theres some lovely cafés in tamworth but this must be the worst.

Nice place full of old fashioned items foods ok but it needs a damn good clean especially the stairs and toilet (only one) and silly little bolt to lock the door which never works. Ventilationn badly needed upstairs as all heat and cooking smells end up there and your hair and clothes smell when you leave. Nice friendly service tho. Ok not has a 2 star food hygiene rating too.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS - DIRTY AND UNHYGIENIC 🤢🤢🤢🤢 I’m never one to leave bad reviews as I believe in supporting businesses, but I couldn’t not with what I witnessed on my visit yesterday. While having some lunch and a drink with my sister, firstly I noticed how miserable the staff were. Leaning on the till, looking absolutely fed up with the world. Not what you want to see when you pay good money for food and enjoying a nice lunch treat out. Even when ordering food, we wasn’t offered extras and was zero help with questions asked. The place itself it decorated wonderful, but the staff are all miserable and stand around talking. Anyway you can let that slide. But what I can’t let go is while sitting down…..I glanced over at the MAIN counter where the till is and the food and drink are being served to witness TWO of the young girls that work there, SQUEEZING A SPOT ON THE ONE GIRLS FACE with bare hands in plain view of everyone!! I couldn’t believe my eyes. To then witness them both carrying on making cups of coffee, dealing with the machines/till after doing so? IN A FOOD SETTING? I waited and waited in absolute shock to see if they would wash their hands. But NO not one of them did. I just saw one of the then proceed to pick behind her nails at the till and another member just rub her nose and then proceed to serve two toasties to an elderly couples table. This made me feel so disgusted and rather sick. Especially knowing I had such finished my food and drink, as if I witnessed this prior I would have NOT eaten and NOT wasted my money. If they can do that in plain sight, What are they doing behind the scenes what we can’t see? I’d be surprised if they wash their hands after going the toilet 🤢 I did call one of the young girls over to ask what their food hygiene rating was which was not displayed to then be told it was a 3 (which btw isn’t true as it’s actually a 2 according to the official food hygiene website) I then proceeded to explain what I had just witnessed to which the girl said they do wash their hands which was an absolute lie and myself and my sister had just witnessed neither of the girls do so after squeezing a spot, cleaning behind her nails, and rubbing her nose (no gloves either) and she just said sorry (half bothered) and wasn’t fazed one bit! Absolutely disgusting and don’t know how anyone is able to work in a food/drink setting and get away with this. All the germs and bacteria. Absolutely appalling! But if you don’t mind spots being picked/burst and then your food/drink handled its the perfect place for you 😷

This is a buzzing traditional high street café with a fairly standard menu of all day breakfasts, jackets, omelettes, hot and cold sandwiches etc, but also an unusual choice of sweet and savoury crepes. The staff were sociable and enthusiastic, and their cheerful presence contributed greatly to the pleasure of eating at this popular spot. There is plenty of indoor seating, as well as a cluster of tables outside in the pedestrianised area on George Street. My only reservation was the presence of ashtrays at every outdoor table, so we couldn't quite escape the smell of smoke. It felt like a timewarp!

I worked here over 2 years ago and got treated really poorly by one of the owners (his name is Justin and he is main owner to cosy coffee northfield). I would even go as far to say he bullied me whilst i was there. He singled me out... saying to me "whats wrong with your face" when i was just cleaning tables, telling me i had attitude for no reason. He made me feel really small and flung cutlery and plates about in the kitchen in anger at me. To the point it made me cry. It left me feeling intimidated and scared. The staff and the other part owner i worked with were lovely and i felt so comfortable with them. But unfortunately i wont ever go in there again because of this and it will always stick with me how i was treated by him.

Terrible rowdy place. Too many tables taken on a daily basis ALL DAY eating food from other shops language is disgusting people want to go for a quiet coffee not listen to idiots there all day taking up tables. One of them was even building a pushbike near the table. Disgusting.

Awful food, scrambled egg on toast looked like it had been dyed black, coffee wasn’t great, full English was well over priced and poor quality and for nearly £10 I expected better. Upstairs was absolutely boiling and was uncomfortable whilst eating. Came out of this place smelling like Iv been cooking. Clothes stunk, plz get proper extractor fans fit for the job. Not like I’ll be coming here again anyway. Honestly got to spoons better value and you know exactly what your getting.

Sorry it's a mixed review. I really love the ambiance and décor of this place and the the staff are friendly and helpful. It would be my #1 place to go in Tamworth if it wasn't for the very slow service that I've received twice now at lunchtime. The owners really need to figure out how they can improve turnaround as waiting more than 45 minutes for food, for me, rules them out as a lunch-time escape, when I need to get back to work eventually. The second time it happened I had to ask for a refund after nearly an hour waiting. They were apologetic and good enough to comply. I'd be happy to return if I had free time to wait to get served, as the omelettes and crepes are great.

Love the decor and atmosphere. Reasonable prices too! 4* because I had to change our month old on a restaurant table upstairs in front of diners because I couldn't find any changing facilities. It just happened to be a poonami so there was **** everywhere. So sorry to the customers that saw this disaster.

Friendly staff and really good food.

A lovely café. Full of nostalgia and memorabilia around the walls of the café. Cozy seating (excuse the pun), and friendly staff. I had the Mocha which was tasty. More seating upstairs and also the loos are upstairs. Although we didn't eat on this occasion, the menu items looked good. Will definitely be back to try the delicious looking food.
