No was the answer wanted toi sell me em.. so I walked out set of c##ts never ever will I buy from here again Shove em up your deep fat fryer

Called in today for a small fish for mum She's poorly in bed with respiratory disease, difficult to get her to eat at the moment. Today I asked if she like a fish from her favourite place, So popped up and got her a small fish, Wow she devoured the lot! 🙌 Winner winner frying machine dinner!

Just being faced with RUDE customer service from this aggressive employee trying to serve me a very old looking fish cake when I asked for a new one the employee was very rude shouting 'WHAT DO YOU WANT?'... a fresh one? I said... them employee snarled and shouted it will be 30 minutes, as if I can wait 30 mins in the freezing cold, I went here daily as did my family and we are all taking our service away from this shop now... I have a choice if I want to eat old food and for that a discount should be offered but I was paying for a price of a fresh one not old, sorry love!

I found our recent Fish & Chips experience to be rather underwhelming. We spent just under £20.00 for two fish & chips with curry sauce. Unfortunately, the batter was disappointingly soggy, and the portion size seemed disproportionately small considering the price point. The curry sauce appeared to be of a tinned variety. There's nothing more disheartening than visiting a local chippy and leaving with a sense of having been less than satisfied, particularly in terms of value for money.

I will start off with that I no longer go to this fish shop anymore so this is a like a month or 2 late but the only problem that I have is that most of time I went the batter was always either soggy and gross or hard and like cardboard apart from that it was a pretty decent place Chips are proper chips not scraps the curry and peas were very nice and the fish was decent just the batter was the problem

Got 2 small fish and chips the batter was a soggy mess and a funny colour when removed inside was well more fish in jumbo fish finger and then half the chips were not cooked put them in bin .thought give it another go today nothing has changed fish batter thick soggy not fresh and 6 pound and honestly smallest and thinnest fish I’ve had 6 pound

Had a chip butty which was meant to have been small but seemed big to us because you got loads of chips and a large buttered bread cake. It was lovely

Very poor infact so poor its in the bin. Small chips and a large battered sausage just under a fiver! The batter on the sausage was like leather like it had been there since last night!

With the price of fish going up, it seems to have made the fish a lot smaller. On the plus side you get a huge portion of chips

Called tonight, got fish and chips, the fish was tiny not only in length but depth too,fish and chips £7.70,dearer than steak, this must be one of the most expensive fish and chip shops in the area,but nowhere near the best, i won't be going again anytime soon

Hi bought fish +chips fish was put on kitchen roll to absorb cooking oil chips had been lying in the box for a while greasy and soft not nice need to cook fresh

Brilliant chippy - been coming for years, always great. The women who work there are really down to earth and the portions are good. Very good

Absolutely ridiculous that you can not have a bag of scraps separate because the owner says so!! Won't be coming back. Also, very expensive, small portions. A lot better chip shops around and about

Two LARGE bags of chips £4.75. Looked like regular portions. Asked for a bag of scraps told "your not allowed" thrt must be with the chips. What a load of rubbish. Go to oceans portions are way better and you can actually grab a bag of scraps if you want. Never heard anything so stupid!!!

Always good well cooked fish, proper chips nicely cooked and hot always one of the best I've had, always use this now

Fish and chips here are very nice decent price I usually get just fish and chips with curry sauce and was very very nice always get it and it's under a fiver

food was lovely, however some of the staff seemed to be very distracted and chatting with people who came into the shop that they knew instead of focusing on saying hello and being polite to all their customers especially the customer that they are serving- good customer service should be given to everyone not just a few, it took us longer to be served because of this and it felt unwelcoming.

quick and very very friendly staff!! the fish can be a bit soggy though!! Overall food is edible!!
