FRYDAY’S in King's Lynn and West Norfolk

Actually been driving past this place for years...big mistake, fish and chips was on point, loads of other food options, kids had pizza, chicken nuggets, and didn't leave a crumb!

First time used and will use again.

Went there on a Saturday at 2pm and it was closed despite the website stating open.

Ordered a haddock and chips with a small curry sauce, and two kids meals, one with chicken nuggets and one with a small battered sausage. The bill came to £20.30, which is a tad on the higher end. However, it's worth it because the food here is so good. The portions are generous. I couldn't finish my haddock and chips and I'm a big eater. Everything was super fresh and hot. Everything was delicious and the fish was fantastic! Good service too. The two chaps serving were quiet and efficient, yet polite. My family and I love this place.

Food is always good (well what I always order is anyway). Staff are helpful and friendly. Anything ordered is delivered quickly and with no issues.

Best fish and chips for miles around can't rate it highly enough definitely five star....

ordered from here and found hair on my cod and hairs on my chips , also i bit into one of my chips and there was some kind of hard chunk in it??

I found hair in all of my orders and I ate it and some of the chips were raw

Friendly workers and good prices and very tasty food they even sell slices of cake for reasonable price. Love that your food is put into a box.

Short wait for fish as I presume cooked to order, did ask for ½ portion of chips but was a normal portion, chips were OK but had gone cold halfway through eating so disappointing overall.

I'm vegan or vegetarian when I am unable to get what I want I had pineapple fritter and chips they were love and hubby and grandson had sausage and chip. We were impressed with the food. We also bought a vegetarian pizza from there that was only £7.99 which normally cost us at least a tenner in Sutton Bridge or long Sutton or Terrington which are our closest takeaways we really like. But our son and daughter in law live not far away and we quite often miss tea picking up our grandson or grandaughter so as a treat monthly we will get a takeaway normally just chips as takeaway is out of our spending as we are only on disabled universal credit so a bag of chips is the cheapest. But we could only eat half the pizza with our chips and saved the other half that fed my daughter her two small children and our other two grandchildren. The leftover takeaway heated up lovely in the oven the very next lunchtime 😋 and enjoyed by all even I ate my grandsons leftovers and it seemed to taste even better the next day heated up. 😋 100% rating and happy and can't wait until next month if not sooner if we are cover picking up the children from nursery. FRYDAYS is for tea again. Yay !!!! Our new favourite 😍

I was working around King's Lynn yesterdayAnd found frydays chip shop was the most local to me Unfortunately got there near the 2pm closing time zo the choice was pie or one small batterd sausage and regular chips for £2.80 The sausage very nice and so was the chips I would have given a 5-star rating if the portion of chips was a regular size. I did take photos as usual but it isn't allowing me to post them or giving me the option.

Really enjoyed the chips, the staff was very friendly and knew how to greet the customers with a friendly smile. Food was freshly made my only negative thing to say was the fish wasn't to my liking, the batter wasn't crispy but soggy and the fish wasn't great. I would like to try again because I know sometimes it can't always be perfect :)

Me and mum had a tandoori chicken kebab it was bloody beautiful mum loved it and said it was one of the best kebabs she has had .

A really nice place to grab a meal. Staff really friendly, the owner and his wife are a lovely couple. Food is good and fresh but definitely try the kebabs. They only use the best Turkish doner meat and you can tell too

Best fish and chips on King's Lynn

We only go to this chippy in King’s Lynn now, their kitchen is always clean, the food is always excellent, and they’re generous with portions. Even though the food is fried, it doesn’t have that greasy/oily heaviness that food from the chippy can have. Also the owner is super friendly and polite. There are not many takeaways in King’s Lynn that are clean, serve good food, and are up to date, most of them look like they haven’t updated their interior since the 80’s, so this chippy is a great addition to the area. Forget to mention, they package everything in cardboard boxes, paper bags, old school high quality packaging, super nostalgic and a nice touch.

Great plaice, spotless and value for money

Poor customer service. Felt discriminated. Ordered large cod was told not available offered regular size instead...was ok to me knowing it wasn’t available...Few minutes later English gentleman came ordered large cod and apparently it’s available.. what’s the difference of his money from ours? Seriously Frydays so disappointed. Shame on you guys..

Not a bad place to go when you are hungry but depending on what time you go depends on what sorted chips you get the fish is good just could be doing would be open as it's a bit longer

Friendly, talkative staff. Clean floor and counter. Most food cooked when it's ordered not sitting under heat lamps. Portion sizes are larger than most other places. Each order is put in a cardboard box. Overall very good experience, would definitely recommend.

Fantastic chips in North Lynn. My Nan lives down the road from here so we got chips from here on her birthday. The chips were brilliant, very tasty, hot and served in a cardboard box. The paper bag was designed so the boxes fitted in nicely. My father said the shop was very clean. Everyone enjoyed their chips and would use this shop again in the future.

Always great food, cooked to order and very well packaged in boxes. A choice or Irish or regular curry sauce... who knew that was a thing 🤣 Haddock is always excellent, skin on and super crispy, just as it should be.

Mum has scampi and chips every fortnight and I usually have fish or sausages served by friendly staff and freshly cooked you cannot beat them a lovely meal at a reasonable price

Very nice and fresh, presented fab in good sturdy boxes, kept hot and no sweating in the polystyrene that so many places use.. not all oily and greasy which is a Mahoosive plus point for me!! .. Very friendly and helpful staff!
