Food was nice, fresh and tasty. Staff were welcoming.

I order from here every week I loved your food. Until recently I ordered a Pizza just like always and just like always asked not to have certain toppings. Shockingly you added the exact toppings I did not want and them toppings was also over loaded. I called and the guy over the phone sounded drunk and said, somtimes it happens and hung up. The full pizza went in the bin along with my respect I had for you. You have lost yourself a loyal customer.

Very friendly and delicious food

Food was great. There was a mix up with the order which didn’t bother us, but the guy gave us extra lamb and didn’t charge us. The amount of food me the missus had was amazing for the price. We loved the garlic bread too. Overall for the service, price and freshness of the food, i will definitely be back to try something else.

The best place for food in Oldham! My dad practically lives here and I travel from Cheadle happily just for their kobeda and shawarma

Overall, it’s great. My dad delivers Ayran there and the staff are good friends off him!! I feel that their food is luxurious! You get the food real quick, and if you have to wait, they serve you a warm soup. So! This place is one of a kind! I do recommend this place!!! And if you do go. Try the Ayran cause my dad spends hours on it! Thanks.

Food gone down hill. The chicken qazi is horrible no taste. I used to order every week from here but not anymore. Food has gone very expensive these days please sort your chicken out am sure am not the 1st person to complain

The staff in this place are very rude and disrespectful the customer service is awful, and we been waiting for the food for about 30 min but we couldnt even eat the food because it was bad.

I have ordered food and they cancelled my order after preparing it so i got messages from the uber that i have cancelled it and i have to pay full cancellation fees, i haven’t got any items nor any refund from uber or restaurant. It’s clearly scam. When i try to call the restaurant they pick up my call and as soon as i told my situation may be they knew that so they hang up. It was 20£ order which is not small amount. I won’t suggest anyone to order from the restaurant and also never order again from this restaurant.

Great customer service. Offered soup at beginning and took care of the little details to make our family dining experience more pleasant.

My son ordered a pizza from this restaurant and when it arrived it was ice cold and I found what looked like a clipped finger or toe nail, I couldn't believe my eyes! but yes it's true!!, i called the restaurant and they denied it and said come to my store and if you find a naili i will give you £1000, i told him to keep his money, but i will file a serious complaint with Oldham Council..... restaurant/ takeaways like this shouldn't be allowed to open...... AVOID THIS PLACE!

Food was terrible ended up with food poisoning took ages to arrive and when it did arrive it was stone cold I wish I never ordered from this place would highly not recommend to anyone save your money and go Asda buy some frozen chicken nuggets or something instead…

Awful meal, this place has gone downhill and Now a rip off compared to other take aways, ordered from Uber Eats and the donner seemed like rubber and tasted awful, The Pizza was just as bad with no cheese and awful taste! I made a mistake as have Pizza GOGO doing 16 inch pizzas for £7.99 and they are better than these pizzas hands down! The Cabbage you now give with your salad is poor quality too! I will go to Simply Fresh or Oldham Star next time

Inconsistent, ordered from Uber. Paid £10 for a burger meal. The chips were soggy and tasted disgusting. The burger was falling a part the chicken so dry, no mayo no spicy sauce. Bun dripping in grease. Won’t touch this place again and I’m a regular here.

Ordered on uber. Spent £37 and was given cold old food. Donner tasted like plastic. Nan bread was burnt and hard to bite. Burger buns over done and tasted too crispy. Won’t be ordering again

Yes taste is delicious no doubt but staff is also very nice humble and cooperative.i ordered from uber eats delivery guy ran away with my pizza.I contacted friend’s restaurant REZA offered me one free food although it was delivery driver who did that greedy act but they gave me free food and drinks

We get fajitia lamb and chicken pizza quite alot, it's quite good, our visitors from Birmingham tried it and loved it, they not had it before, i always get it for my visitors In shah Allah will try other stuff too

Kobeda, packed with flavour and great size. Ive had it twice in 1 week. The doner is juicy and soft. Love the food! hard to find a good doner place nowadays, so great to have one on our doorstep

It was my first time coming here a few weeks ago. I came with approx group of 8. We ordered extra nan and chips and the staff were very responsive and immediately had it sent over. We tried the chicken shawarma, Kobeda, and pizza and yes it was delicious. I’ll definitely be coming again.

The guy did not even listen me what i was asking him, he was rude and in the end packed all wrong order. Its a shame on those guys who works there, at least u can be more attentive to your customers!

Excellent food been here 3 or 4 times now kobeda is dripping with flavour amazing juicy succulent chicken is the same everything is really nice nan is bought fresh as you eat sauces are amazing, my mouth is watering as I write this, staff are so friendly and no hassle do everything with a smile immaculately clean inside tables are constantly cleaned after customers leave my son loves it here SO DO I

I used to love this place! Everytime in Oldham I would come. This time waited 30 min for the Donnie and chips. No problem about waiting. But atleast listen to me. Tiny bit of Salad was dumped in a box and KETCHUP in a little tub. Told them I want it on top of the dinner and chips as always and the guy said NO I’m Too busy. No sauces not enough salad for the meals we ordered. I was disgusted.

Old guy with a small well behaved little dog, they served me,inviting me to wait inside. Told to leave a lesser take away a few doors down. And wow they even fed my little dog free kebab meat. Above and beyond service.

I’m very disappointed with food and service. I ordered Lamb Qozi , but test was not good, I never recommended to anyone. Also you can serve by own (self service in restaurants), ridiculous. It’s a restaurant not a take away. Food was average and not hot in feb month. Just think about it.

I paid £8.50 just salad and mix Doner no nan donar is to dry probably 2days old just eat chicken staff no bother I wouldn’t recommend this place now a days £8:50 hard to pay

Friends is one of the best restaurants for arabian cuisine in city. Different types of kebab are special.

Another take away having great taste, they serve you friendly and make every customer their priority.

Grilled chicken is fresh and tasty and so was kobeda but the shawarma chicken was bang average.

Nothing special about the food or service I wouldn't go there again. Disappointed.

Nothing special. All slammed on to a plate. Salad tasted more nice. Chicken was very crispy and was hard to bite. Naan was like poppadoms and donner was definitely not soft how it should be.

Can't believe their attitude when you have made a mistake on line,to be fair my fault but they wasn't interested. Food is great but that is it,staff need to learn to go extra mile for customers.

My favourite restaurant to eat kebabs, but everything else is delicious too. I have moved out from Oldham but still going there every month just for the food.

Ate from here before and food is decent but service isn't the best, ordered today and it took them 45 mins or so to call and let me know they can't make my order which just wasted my time and had to deal with hungry child at home

Fantastic food. Recommended by a friend and they were 100% right to. Genuinely THE BEST kobeda and chicken tikka I have ever tasted. Served with soft naan bread and wonderful fresh salad. Service was excellent too. Plentiful parking available on side streets. Best food I’ve eaten from a takeaway or restaurant in a long, long time. Highly recommend Friends. 10/10 👏👏👏

Ordered a takeaway for collection. Cheeseburger meal, garlic bread and tray of donner. Ordering was pretty straightforward. Got to Friends and seemed like chaos. The guy serving me seemed lost and didn't know much about my order. Eventually he got order together but I had to mention I had ordered a garlic bread and a drink for meals. On to the food, the burger was burnt and assembled upside down. Garlic bread burnt and harder than stone. The donner was okay, not the best but not the worst. Definitely alot better places in Oldham.

Quick and Fresh food every time.

Been ordering from here probably since they opened but in the last 3 month I've lost count of how many times they have missed things off our order. After waiting 1hr 30mins and spending a minimum of £30 each time the last thing we want is to be missing food. The food is usually good hence the reason we kept going back but its not worth the disappointment anymore. I feel like you're just too busy to give a good service to everyone.

Ordered 2 items from the menu and have been waiting for almost 2.5 hours and still no food arrived, tried calling the restaurent a few times and no answer, will not be ordering again

Peace be upon you all guys. I think the food is good here however it does seem a bit steep for what they actually provide. Portions could be a bit bigger but paying £7 per burger meal definitely a bit steep. Fatayers seem to be the speciality though and kebabs which I would recommend - only issue with kebabs is they could be salted a bit more for extra flavour. Salads tend to be amazing and fresh as well as the roast chicken which is a real speciality for friends. Service could improve sometimes as I have found the staff to be a bit rude but depends who is there though.

Just ordered from friends takeaway for the first time, the meal was disgusting. The 3 portions of chips were like rubber and freezing cold, my nan bread was cold and like rubber, the chicken was just about warm and burnt and dried out and the kebab meals were the same very very disappointed absolutely rubbish do not go there avoid completely.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Their kobeda on Nan and fillet burger my daily diet. Love that.

Ordered the spicy chicken burger meal and it was soggy and bland. There was no batter on the chicken, no spice, loads of mayo and salad to drench any taste it may have had. It was my first time and last time ordering here.

I asked for a weird order of a plate of chips and a plate of salad. Was treated with respect, given generous portions of both and had really good service and for a very cheap cost too! Thank you!

Decent although they don't serve lamb shawarma hence had to go a few doors down to get a mixed shawarma on chips.

This place has been very popular since it opened and hasn’t looked back since. It has gone from strength to strength and is always busy whenever I go. The food is always fresh and on point! Highly recommend.
