Ordered 2x curry mutton and rice and peas for my best friend and son and hake for myself. Mutton was very meaty and tasty and my hake was delicious. Just wish I could have had mine has a meal with rice and peas. Will definitely order from here again. Also the meal was on time. Thank you guys.

Very disappointed with the food ... the first and only time I will order from this establishment. The food was tasteless, (we ordered 2 meals) curry mutton lacked flavour, gravy none existent, the meal was padded out with more rice & peas than meat content. The steam veg was revolting not least because it was frozen supermarket mix veg (broccoli, green garden peas,cauliflower, carrots) so not even freshly made they cut corners by throwing in frozen veg! The curry chicken was equally tasteless and that also came with frozen supermarket mix veg and the dumplings were to salty to enjoy or finish. I would not have even awarded this place 1 star but it is the lowest score available on this site I would recommend "Rice & P's caribbean takeaway. Great food, tasty cooked from fresh (ALL OF IT) and equal amount of both meat & rice peas & steam veg....

The food, drinks are second to none. Cheerful service. I have been a regular customer of friends and fams for the past two years, and will continue to buy from the best Jamaican food around.

If you are a Desi brown person you will hate the food, utterly tasteless. Ordered tarka dhal with saag paneer: how wrong could they get it! No garlic or onions no flavour, watery saag and over fried paneer. Food was saturated with thick layer of oil. Give it a miss. Threw all the food away as didn’t want to clog my arteries!

The restaurant is a mezzanine floor upstairs, and you order the food from the kiosk downstairs. It's one of the best places to eat in Birmingham. I come here at least once a week 😎👍👍
