Friends Express in Liverpool

Pizzas were so awfully thin - as soon as you picked it up all cheese and toppings slid off. Hardly had any cheese and toppings were not evenly spread amongst pizza. Some slices had some of the toppings on and other toppings were on different slices within the same pizza. We always order from here and the pizzas are usually great with no complaints but this time was absolutely terrible, never had such bad pizzas unfortunately. Not worth such an expensive price.

Ordered chicken and Donna kebab under there Uber eats name best kebabs. Came looking like that no Donner and looking disgusting. Management said they will send the order again. No one turned up.

The order took an hour and a half to arrive stone cold chips soggy and under cooked, both kebabs salad covered in a vinegarette tainting any fkavor and burnt naan breads and to top it off the onionrings where just a soggy mess, i wont be ordering here again very disappointed.

Horrendous take away. First time wrong food , second time wrong drink , 3rd time wong drink , 4th paid for it and no drink at all .

more than half the order didn't show up and the food that did was undercooked, no salad and no sauce no drinks. when I asked the driver he said to get a refund cos the rest of the food wasn't coming. I phoned the restaurant and the person who answered was rude and didn't try to help before hanging up on me after 5 minutes of wasting time. its bizzare because we haven't ever had a problem before but it's not acceptable. trying to feed the family and the food doesn't show up.

food is usually good but today roast chicken was really bad, hard and crisp like over cooked!! smelt a little also

Food was delivered pretty quickly but i ordered a childrens meal which came without fries or drink, so ended up paying £3.99 for 3 chicken strips. when i rang up the woman on the end of the phone said there is nothing they could do as they have no delivery drivers and that if i ordered again it would be added on. so ended up having to order from somewhere else to get a childs meal. they could of just refunded that part of the meal to save this review 🤷‍♂️

I ordered again tonight. For over an hour they kept changing the delivery time until they actually cancelled the order. Shouldn't be called Friends Express, should be called Friends Waste Your Time

It said delivery would be shorter and then i ordered it they changed the time. Food was cold

although the food was on time, it was only lukewarm. portions tiny & despite ordering salad, none as to be found. sauce was also very sparce and chips like cardboard. we have ordered here many time & cant fault it but tonight was a disapointing

I went to the only 2 places other than outside my door this could’ve been delivered to. I looked at the map and the guy is half a mile away. 2 Grayson street is outside my door. How this person has ended up where he is absolutely unacceptable. This is the 3rd time this has happened to me in Liverpool. I use just eat in Leicester and rugby and have never had a problem at all.

Food is always hot on arrival, food tasty with decent portions.

I got robbed twice by this place. I placed an Uber eats order on 16th and 18th November and both times I get told on Uber that I called the restaurant to cancel the order when I haven’t. Which meant that I got charged and had to pay for food I never got!!! And when I called to ask why they cancelled the order they said because they didn’t have some of the ingredients. So now I lost £50 for this place and got nothing in return… absolute joke, the food isn’t even that great

I bought chicken kebab and chips for my brother after one bite his lips started to swell as he his allergic to nuts so i called the take away and the guy was very rude and didnt know his manager name to then he put the phone down thia could have been fatal

I was given absolutely black burnt lamb ribbed and when call up the shop. All they say is that they don’t speak English. Clearly the usual boss is on holiday and staff doing what they want and quality of food down the bin. As you have replied to the fact that I wasn’t after free food as I ordered via UberEat. And if you want I can upload the picture of the burnt lamb ribs if want to take this further. Absolutely joke customer service and untrained staff with shocking hygiene practices. Will be referring to the FSA

Awful. Garlic bread arrived stone cold. The special kebab deal says comes with naan but either it doesn’t or they just didn’t send it. Also says comes with 2x sauce but only lets you pick one. Chips are pathetic, more like what you’d grate to make a hashbrown than a chip, soggy and just sad looking. Meat of the kebab is, at best, questionable. Dry, overcooked and just lacking and care or quality in its cooking. Salad was about the best thing on a £50 order. Would have to be an apocalyptic event to take me back there.

I didn’t get my order, I ordered last night 11.11pm. Delivery time slots changed 4 times and last thing 11.50pm around I got message my order delivered. I didn’t get any food I talked costumer service they didn’t refund money this company and this restaurant are liars. I’m from turkey I will tell all my Turkish friend never again order this restaurant and I will try do people don’t use anymore JustEat scammers

Ordered a jumbo platter, great value, and delicious meat grilled over charcoal. The donner wasn't in the top 10 I've ever had, but the other parts made up for it.

I pre ordered my delivery for 6 30pm and tracked via the just eat app. contacted the restaurant after 2hrs waiting à the app showed driver at the restetaunt but got no joy. contacted just eat and now my order agios delivered whi h is not the case so I've been charged for an order I did not receive.

100 percent NOT Turkish as advertised. Lahmacun was dreadful- seasoning was poor, bread too thick. Kebab was in a horrible thick powdery naan. Fries horribly thin and cold. Meat was average- not well seasoned. Kids chicken and rice- not Turkish rice. Plain old pilau. Pide and chicken wraps- one of the only meals that were enjoyed. Really sad as I expected Turkish food. Lesson learnt. Won’t return. In response to the owner- Yes, really. I’d be embarrassed to admit that this was my place- claiming to cook Turkish meals.

Pizza and kebab both tasted good, however, the food was cold when it arrived about half an hour late.

Came here after a long day of working and not being able to have anything to eat, craving something simple. Ordered a chicken burger meal deal and a chicken kebab. I wasn’t really bothered what I had as I was just starving, not expecting anything amazing as originally I thought it was just another regular “ok” takeaway as I walked past it and viewed the menu when I had a Quick Look inside. I wasn’t expecting how unreal it was! Everything was so tasty and cheap! Couldn’t fault it one bit and definitely eager to come back again for some more! High recommendation on the special sauce as well. Staff were amazing and friendly, especially the woman who served me and helped me pick out what I should have on my kebab.

Food was stone cold and 1hr and a half late. Driver said he was given the wrong address so went to 2 difedwnt areas of liverpool before he delivered to us.

Food was lovely no drink I ordered

The foood took almost 1 hour to cook. The driver took 30 minutes to arrive even though he had the food on the just way map from 9:40pm, he didn’t arrive until past 10pm and I only live a 5 minute drive away. The food was cold, soaking wet, no sauce or salad and he was rude and lied about how long he had the food for. I’m disgusted and would like a refund.

We order regularly and some things are good but recently and always in the week the cooking and prep has been a disgrace. Last 4 orders the food has arrived cold and it seems to be since they changed the food packaging. Chicken burger tonight was massively over cooked and all the food was freezing cold which is unacceptable for a £32 order You need a new chef, new packaging asap

Giant doner kebab (£6.50) that was nice, with lots of meat, salad, onion and other fresh ingredients. The special sauce is good, being slightly spicy, without garlic. The naan bread is freshly made, in front of you, in the oven and is very thick so the kebab does not break down when you eat it. The chips were good too. Very friendly staff and fast service. Modern and clean facilities. They cook on charcoal embers. You can sit on a comfortable sofa whilst waiting for your order. Food good value for money.
