Ps everyone don’t go to friendlies in Burntisland I went over 2 week visit family at holiday park that kinghorn I went indoor make my order Chinese reception was not that great English language this was too loud and crazy due there family over letting children’s running about free when there customers about waiting on there foods there service was really slow I was waiting about 20mins for my order come over I sew there dealing illegal cigarettes to customers by law can’t sell cigarettes too customer this never confirm to duty-free I have email trading standards about their illegal cigarettes. I just hope the shop we shut down for good. So PS everyone never ever go onto the Chinese takeaway.

i went there for prawn crackers and some chips and the chips might just be the best chips ever my son with autism absolutely loved the noodle soup would recommend

Without doubt this is the single most disgusting and repellent meal I have ever had in my life. Frankly they are exploiting any poor soul who places an order! Words completely fail me. I have no idea how this place remains in business. You would have to be desperate beyond measure to place an order. To eat it? Well you’re on your own!

I have been eating in friendlies all the time the foods always look good I can eats there all time I never get bored ordering the same the customer service are really good I always take my order back to Kirkcaldy this nice and hot still.

Just had meal delivered . Put in bin. Disgusting. It was cold. Spring roll was freezing cold and looked and tasted terrible. Don't go there. Waste of money

❌Warning ❌ Awful & not so “ Friendly” DO NOT USE FRIENDLIES IN BURNTISLAND Stay well clear I’ve been a customer for years, when ordering and receiving the incorrect order tonight, I simply asked for the meal to be swapped - after the poor girl going back and forward to her “boss” who didn’t have the courage to speak directly to me - he wanted another £2.50 for delivery !! You’d think in these trying times for all, people would be a little kinder. Very short sighted as lost myself as a customer, all for £2.50! All government guidelines were not followed by the DRIVER !!!

Never again, worst Chinese we have ever had, peking sauce was black in colour and tasted of nothing, chicken so dry, honey chicken saturated in honey resulting in soggy batter.

Menu Pervades white range of food types to suit everyone’s palate. Food is cooked fresh on the premises and delivered quickly.

Wouldn't feed my dog anything out of here ..... Disgusting food ...not cooked properly The other Chinese carry out is much better ..

Quick visit here last night. Busy Chinese carry out, only ordered salt and pepper chips, 2 portions infact, not too impressed tho my chips didn't seem as fresh as my daughters portion so was definitely disappointed.

Tried this place and thought I would play safe ordering mixed sweet and sour...big mistake! The pork was full of fat,prawns tasteless but chicken ok. The balls were stodgy and limp. The only reason I have given it a 2 rating is my wife said the curry was ok.

I love this takeaway, more so the potato fritters I have this when along at Burntisland with a tub of curry sauce, also they do a great fried rice onions and curry sauce, over all the menu is great and well worth a shot. Im not sure if they do the likes of Cantonese or anything,

So i phoned Friendlies tonight for their mini spring rolls and chicken breast chow mein. The spring rolls were to munch in the pub then have the chow mein when i got home, well not long home and the chow mein is disgusting! Far too salty and not even chicken breast also the curry sauce would come in a tub but they put it all over the meal. Lucky if i have had a couple of mouthfuls out if it, i normally use peach blossom and will defo be going back there but they were closed when i decided to order. Sorry friendlies you have lost me as a customer.

Hands down one of the absolute best Chinese’s I’ve ever had. We get food from Friendlies once a week when visiting family and it always exceeds expectations. My personal favourite dish is there salt and pepper chips, so tasty! You’re guaranteed a lovely meal from this takeaway.

Twice I stated I didn't like mushrooms on two separate occasions and they just put loads of onions instead. There were already lots of onions.. Why not sweetcorn or peppers or some other vegetable. I don't want to pay for a plate with mostly onions. And the lady that serves mostly is quite unpleasant, Brusque, just not a nice manner.

Standard fair menu, can get bust at the weekend which is a good thing! Delivers locally and their crispy shredded beef and bbq ribs rock!

Three phone calls made in one evening and every time my son was spoken to like a piece of crap. First was to try and pay by card which we couldn't so used online service but then called back as order was staying at pending to have his head bit off then after wrong order came i spoke and was ranted at then hung up on! I have used friendlies for years but sadly will not be back. I have tried.to tolerate the newish owners rude demeanour for sometime but tonight was too far. I had screen shots to prove my order and explained there was possibly an online fault and at no point did she accept or try to to rectify the fault and hanging up was the final straw! Food has dramatically went down hill since this latest take over also.

Great wee Chinese in the town. Very prompt service. Never dissapointing. Have had a couple of orders wrong but what they gave us was still nice.

Food is great most times, only issue is when I order through just eat, food is pre paid for but either have to pay more at the door or the order is incorrect, twice that's happened and twice I've used just eat, probably just a communication error but won't stop ordering from this good little take away 😊

Food was late in being delivered and they didn't swap the barbeque sauce dor curry sauce as requested in the order. That being said the dood was fantastic and would recommend them to anyone.

Not impressed at all! Food still not here. Ordered 2 bags of chips and a portion of fried Mushrooms an hour and 20 minutes ago! Called and they said the driver was on the way 10 minutes ago yet the takeaway is about a 2 minute drive away. Not happy.

Chips where lovely. Ordered 2 cans of diet irn bru and they gave me 2 cans of coke. So was quite disappointed

It was very good I ordered fried rice but I got plain rice which was not as good i prefer fried rice 👍

Order the Duck roll's and they had zero duck in them, tasted more like curry roll's.

Food arrived within the promised time, but it was cold (as in, COLD) and had to be microwaved to make it edible. Not very good!

The food was very good but the Delivery was late I ordered it at 6:50pm and it didn't come until 8:30pm the services was very late and I think it was very bad

This was the worst food I've ever had from a take away. It wasn't great last time but I gave them a 2nd chance. Shredded chicken was soggy, rice was stodgy and satay sauce was way too sweet. Awful, and it used to be good too. Disappointed.

The order said it would come at quater past 8 and we ordered it at half 7, the order actually came really early which was amazing as we were all hungry, the man that came with the delivery was super nice and energetic and the food was really good to, I have been ordering from this place for years and only complained once so hopefully that doesn't happen again as you are a fantastic chinease restaurant 😊

Chicken was nothing short or disgusting - zero chicken breast just the very cheapest cuts of brown meat, some of which had gristle in it. I rate this meal 1 star as chips were good - when the chips are the best thing about the meal from a Chinese then you know you are onto a loser.

I have to say this place serves lovely food, I usually get a takeaway from there but been away a lot recently and have had to get Chinese food from different places and they are dull in comparison, I mean I go to rendezvous in Edinburgh and used to go to the karens unicorn which has really gone down hill, this little takeaway beats them all in my opinion, hot n sour soup, dry ribs, by request I might add lol sweet n sour chicken Hong Kong style beef green peppers black bean sauce and a side of char Sui pork ask for no sauce and you will love it, I'm just not a fan of sauces and glupe, that's just me.

We used to get every Chinese take-away from here all the time, until a few wks ago, we were sent food that was clearly off, I only had one mouth full n couldn't eat it, my partner continued to eat, but then during the night was extremely ill, and continued being ill for 5 days after...I was also ill for a day after only one mouth full!! We hadn't eaten from anywhere else that day, and it wasn't a bug, as my son never ate it, and he was fine! We will NEVER order from this vile place again!

Portion sizes have halved. Leaving me hungry. Going else where. Metal and cardboard container are now little plastic sweaty boxes for the same money. Confused.

Took a chance on a local takeaway, portions were big, food lovely (even for a fussy 10 year old). Delivery service before time stated and delivery driver friendly. Would definitely recommend this takeaway service

We order from friendlies all the time but pick it up normally. Couldn't be bothered going out so tried just eat and food arrived on time and still the same great quality as always. Happy and satisfied. Yum!

Go to friendlies for a Chinese takeaway if you want tinned fruit instead of plum sauce on your duck, watery tasteless Thai curry or if you don't mind the fact they've been shut down a couple of times for having no running hot water.

Charged extra money for the delivery. Wrong order. Phoned back to get my money back that she charged extra and the women started shouting at me. Didnt meet timescales. Poor customer service. Never going back

Shredded chicken was disappointing, it had a jelly like coating! Everything else was fantastic

over an hour to get 2 fish suppers delivered. by the time they got here the fish was reheated and the chips were soggy, seems like they were stuck in a microwave.

The last 2 orders have been disappointing.I don't know if there have been chef changes in the last 4 wks or so.My order a couple of wks ago was wrong.But I decided to try again yesterday.there were hardly any veg in the veg dish and only chicken in the curry.No complaints about the delivery service always pleasant polite people.

Food order was good quality, although the delivery time was 25 minuets late and only had ten minuets to eat our meal as we were going out shortly after it was delivered. We ordered a bottle of irn-bru but were delivered Coke instead. They also did not deliver our prawn crackers although we spent over the asked price. Overall I am not pleased this this take away.

Had to call after 1 hour of waiting for our food then waited another 15 mins. But were emailed to say it will be 40 mins. But hav to say food is great x

Very disappointed that it took 1 hour 30 minutes to deliver our order of 2 meals. The sauce for the orange chicken was then all over the bag instead of being all over the chicken. My son then couldn't eat his meal- very hungry and very disappointed. Will not use again.

Sent wrong food as usual every time, such a joke. Charge for 2lt bottles and it's not even 2lt.. Girl on the phone is lovely and very help-full and polite need more people like this who speak on phones!

The food here has been really good up until now, but was unbearably salty tonight and well below usual standard.

Food was 1 hour 20 minutes later than the original arrival time. No apology or explanation. Shame. They're usually pretty good.
