Excellent Chinese takeaway! Now called Fortune House.Great menu,great food.Ordered over the phone for home delivery,quick easy & arrived on time.Food was tasty & hot.The best Chinese food I have had in a while.

Después de leer algunas críticas sobre este lugar era escéptico, después de hablar con algunos de los lugareños en el Inn costa decidimos darle una oportunidad. Nos alegramos de pollo con salsa de curry arroz frito y absolutamente acertadas, placas lamieron los limpias no podría tener suficiente. Cualquiera que visite la zona sin duda deberíamos hace este lugar, olvídese de los comentarios cuando este lugar era llamado el León de Oro. Nuevo nombre mejor comida de calidad, sólo hay que preguntar a los lugareños

(Fortune House Chinese) Got told it would take 40-50 minutes... All I will say is if you want to wait over three hours for a small order of food this is the place for you :)

Acabamos de tener una comida china para llevar de este recientemente inaugurado llamado fortune house y era antiguamente el león dorado. La comida era precioso (pollo agridulce pollo con miel chili) y el pan de gambas eran los mejores que he probado. Las cosas estaban un poco lento, pero es la primera noche y merece la pena la espera. Esperamos que la próxima vez que esté de vacaciones de nuevo.

horrible. Mi carne de chili sabor antiguo galletas insípidas que parecían día domingo asado con absolutamente ninguna chili o gusto de estilo chino en absoluto. Incluso el arroz estaba hecha y bastante mal. Nunca he tenido una experiencia como esta y espero que nunca repetir. veo las señales en la puerta decir que están buscando un nuevo propietario así que quizás Cellardyke puede acabar con un decente lejos después de todo!

Nos dieron un llevar cuando se aloje en Cellardyke recientemente. No puedo decir nada positivo que decir. gambas galletas saladas grasienta, arroz frito duro y seco, y pimienta de sal y salsa curry simplemente extraña de pollo horrible. Visitaremos la zona muy regular. Este será mi primera y última compra.

the food here is consistantly good, can never fault it chicken in batter, chicken in black bean, king prawn, rice and yes the all important chips

Golden Lion provides take away and sit in as well (less). I love their BBQ spare ribs, roast duck and their curry with chips. Their scampi is really good as well. Their fried rice and noodles are a must try as well:) Good atmosphere. Quick serving time as well. Great customer service. Recommended.

Food had no taste. Would not use again. Was a waste of money and wish we had gone somewhere else. This was one of the worst Chinese meals I have had in a long, long time.

A couple of years ago, we were staying in a cottage nearby for a short break and couldn't be bothered going out for a meal on our first night. To be honest, this restaurant didn't look too great from the outside and on entering, didn't look too great inside either! (Have now been 3 times and have never seen anyone eat in.) Took a chance and didn't regret it. The food was, and still is, lovely - particularly recommend sweet and sour dishes and satay dishes. So, as I say - don't be put off by the exterior.
