Rubbish never got any food soggy fish open when they want only except cash (I wonder why)

Once again forgot drinks. Only this time deliveroo will not refund so called the shop. They blamed deliveroo for not given me a refund then said there's not much they can do 😕 by the time I sorted out new drinks for everyone my food was stone cold. Had to pay out again for my drinks

First time I eaten from there, really good and tasty, will definitely order it again soon

I wouldn't order again. The chips in the box smelled weird, I think it's the box when it gets moist. Ordered a roll which didn't turn up. The battered sausage was awful, the batter was like cardboard. Only redeeming part was the chicken.

Never usually have a problem but chips were all hard and some not fully cooked

Chips needed cooking a bit longer as looked pale but other then that is lovely

Not impressed to be honest, I ordered fish and chips with curry sauce for the first time from this takeaway to taste it and rate it. What I'm not impressed with is the fact that the fish felt and tasted like the frozen fish you can buy from a store. The batter wasn't crunchy or crispy, it felt rubbery and too chewy, the cod itself tasted like frozen fish not fresh!! The chips was chewy, the curry looked pre-cooked. Yet it cost just over £20 including delivery. Food was disgusting! Only thing good was delivered on time! I definitely won't be buying any food from this takeaway anymore!

Absolutely discusting, the batter was so think the fish inside wasn't even cooked also the chips was they was a day old I definitely won't be going here again as this is not the first time the food has been like that, £25 of food straight into the bin....

The beef burgers were a salty, didn't taste like beef and overcooked very oily and greasy. Chicken burger was okay bit salty.

Not delivery fault!! The saveloys were apparently lovely - the two pies - awful!! Solid - could not cut them, how old were they and been left too long under a heater!! Lost some customers tonight!!

The batter on the fish was terrible it's like having a peice of fish wrapped in a pancake also the chips wer dry and tasted old won't be going here again as this ain't the first time.

Have used this chip.shop a lot over the years but tonight was a total let down, after waiting for chips to cook we got home (2mins away in the car) and the chips were stone cold and didnt taste very nice and my gravy was really really thick and cold!! It was so thick that I could cut it ,and dipping my chips in it didn't even leave a gravy residue let alone a smear of gravy. Really disappointed , hope it improves ,it was the last decent chip shop in the area!

I have been coming here for years (since before it was a fish n Chip shop in fact). The food is great and reasonably priced. The staff are always fabulously friendly and very helpful. More than just people who work in a service industry, Rami? the proprietor always seems to manage to employ genuinely lovely people for staff. In recent years I can definitely mention Casey, Sammy, Lauren, Lily, Edie and Orla as well as Rami herself. In the very rare circumstances there is a problem, it is always sorted straight away. They do only take cash, but the Tesco right across the road has a cash machine. I would definitely recommend.

We were very happy with the food that arrived. I didn't have the fish and chips, but it apparently it was 'the best they've had in a long time' So I think I'm going to be asked to order from here again :)

We were excited to eat here again after we collected a really great meal a few weeks ago which was cooked fresh for us to order. Unfortunately this was really dissapointing- the batter was not crispy at all and quite flavourless. A real difference this time which is a shame.

Order wrong..won't go again

Delivery was late, ordered at 5.20 arrived at 18.34. It was cold by the time it got here and the cans were in the same bag as the food. I did ring the food place around 6 and they said they were waiting for a driver.

Enjoyed the fish & chips but batter was quite soggy, had better from here before and also forgot the can of coke

Placed my order at 18.25, and I appreciate it’s a Saturday evening. But over 2 hours later and obviously been kept in the hot counter. Wasn’t freshly prepared when the courier turned up. Everything tasted hours old

I feel the chip portion size has gone down hill. Regular chips is more of a kids portion. Sad because we use to love this chippy.

Food is normally lovely from here but the pie was very hard and not great. Will order again just won't have the pie.

This is my favourite chip shop but I didn’t enjoy it so much this time. Chips were hard in parts and there was not enough salt and vinegar so it tasted a bit bland.

A great little chip shop with great food. The fish tastes great and the batter is crunchy. Chips are tasty and freshly made. The shame is that soon they will be closing as their tenancy is ending soon

Placed an order then the wrong order turned up which I turned away, contacted the company who says I have to contact JustEat. I did so and still no food or refund from them. Total shambles…

Please do not advertise “chicken nuggets” when they are battered chicken balls. Why have I paid £1.22 for a can of Fanta for it to turn up in a badly dented can that has 75p on it….

The food wasn't good quality, the fish was very rubbery and the chips were barely warm and to add insult to injury I was given the wrong food by just eat driver

Best Chippy in South Bristol, massive pieces of cod and huge amounts of chips. One large fish and one regular chips is a meal for two

The batter on the cod was very thick inside, it was gooey. The chips were hit and miss some were ok some were burnt.

Needs to wrap fish separate from chips because the fish goes soggy

As lovely as the chips was. Usually when you order a chip butty. You have the butty with a small bag of chips. Not just the butty with chip init, no butter on the bun. The cod bites didn’t have a nice fresh crunch to them. They were soggy and the ends of the batter had a chew to it. The chips were lovely as I said but this food is NOT worth £11 at all.
