This chippy is amazing! The chips are the best I've ever had and I've just had a Cod and that was the best in Milton Keynes I've ever tasted... Growing up we had a brilliant chippy that was loved by everyone, Friars is the closest I have ever tasted.. Thanks, keep up the good work Tom

Very good fish & chip shop, although I chose battered saveloy and my husband chose battered sausage. Very nice chips too.

Happen to take a side road when we noticed this fish n chip shop. Having tasted all other MK recommended we were keen to try this as the ones we tried were very disappointing. Friars Fish n Chips exceeded expectation. Really tasty Fish and chips Easy order over the phone Collection time given - was spot on Fish really fresh crispy batter crunchy and just right depth. Massive chip portions - tasty chips (now as good as the fish the chips have got to taste good so far all the local ones chips were really bad) friars chips amazing. I have tried all the ‘top fish n chips in MK’ located in shenley, Bradwell and broughton and they were really appalling. Either the batter was non existent or the chips lack flavour. I am super happy with Friars and so excited that it’s our local! Thank you Friars Thank you Sheriff.

The food's great - best around - prices are good and staff are friendly & courteous. My favourite takeaway!

I was quite impressed with Friars as first tried in June for take away several times since Covid-19 lockdown relaxed. The portion size is very good, fresh and good value. I found them to be clean following the guidelines. The service was good and would visit again.

Rude staff no respect and unhygienic not happy with this service food was standard and just disappointing from staff

I use this Fish and Chip shop a couple of times a month when I’m in the area and am always happy the the food and the service received.

Regular visitor and the only chippy my family use. Lovely crispy batter big portions of chips, they also do veggie pies and veggie burger.

I went to friars as it was recommended and did not disappoint. Very tasty food, hugh portions and excellent value for money. I would highly recommend and would return here again

One of the nicest fish and chip shops we've ever visited; not only are the portions really generous, but the fish batter is incredibly crispy and the sausages were perfect. Freshly cooked, with lots of chips. From an allergy point of view, it was fantastic for us too - the chips are friend in vegetable oil (and not nut oil as many chip shops now seem to use) and the allergy advice was clear and understood. Would definitely recommend.
