Consistently amazing fish and chips

I ordered Haddock & Chips x 2 .The fish really good size also chips decent portion. The choice on the Menu is the best I have seen in Fish & Chip Shop,great selection inc Pies,etc.

Been coming to Enzos for Fish and chips regularly for many years. Always tastes fresh and perfectly fried. Never been dissatisfied.

I would go so far as to say that this is the best old-style fish and chip takeaway in the surrounding area. We travel from MK to buy from here, always feel welcomed, are serviced accordingly, and have never had an issue with the fish or chips being oily. More than happy to support such businesses!

We've been here three times now as the reviews look good so after the first time decided maybe they were just having a bad day, and again the second time, and then stupidly thought it can't be that bad with these reviews so went back a third.. silly me I can confirm, the fish is awful, soggy and undercooked batter which has been sat around and on top of that, the smallest bit of fish ice ever seen. They make up for the small fish with the mountain of chips Which are raw in the middle, only saving grace is they cover them in salt and vinegar. Extremely overpriced for what we received each time. Won't be giving it a 4th try that's for sure!

Totally stingy on the chips. I couldn’t believe how few when I got home, disappointed, at £3 must have been 10p/chip. Fish was good though but I’d say a small not a medium

Just had a kebab and chips from here 2 work men….. and I have to say we both love our kebabs and this place is sooooo dammmmm good all fresh chicken marinated to perfection and will certainly be back when working in the Area 👌👍 well done to who ever cooked them A star from us both Well done Enzo fish bar

We ordered 2 large fish and 1 large chips When we got home i was so disappointed how much you get for £19 pounds. I know prices have gone up, the fish and chips looked like regular portion. Also the batter on the fish was over cooked and tasted a bit burnt, and the batter was not crispy more chewy and flat, and the bag was so greasy. this has happened a few times and we thought we give them another chance it seems to be the same every time. I have been somewhere else where you order a large fish and it hangs off ur plate and it is nice and crispy and not burnt, i might have to go to into Bedford but at least i know it going to be good fish and chips. And i know my fish and chips how they should be, my husband raved how good Enzo was but even he was so disappointed at the portion, and greasiness.

Been coming here since I was little and will continue to always come when in town for the atmosphere, food and people who run the show.

Quality fish and chips.. we travel 10 miles to come here.. why ? Because they offer gluten free every other week on a Monday! Bonus and they taste great too. Sit on the benches down the road and enjoy.

Very tasty chips, fish, scampi and sausage. Good amount of salt and vinegar, decent portion size. Not a bad wait considering how busy it was.

Onto my fourth visit now on account of the Nautilus in West Hampstead being closed for their annual three week Holiday and each visit has been fantastic . Haddock and Chips freshly cooked to order , grab a stool (only three) and if the shelf alongside is vacant I eat in . The Fish and the Chips are perfection as is the service , a local friendly clientele tells its own story . You simply aren't going to survive selling rubbish to these People and in this regard the Nautilus in West Hampstead is exactly the same . I delight when something relatively simple like Fish and Chips is done well and at a reasonable price and Enzo manages this consistently . After the horror story that was Locanda Gabriella across the road I am left thinking I should have just come here because its simply excellent .

First class, excellent food, very friendly welcome.

Average fish and chip shop. Breaded fish cakes and saveloy sausages doesn’t feel very authentic British chip shop. Ordered a large fish but it certainly wasn’t. Chips were good, sauces are good and service was good. Hence all round very average nothing special.

Staying at a nearby cottage for a week we were lucky to be here on their bi-weekly gluten free day. On those days everything is made with clean oil and no gluten ingredients being cooked. For GF it was very good, people travel from away on these days.

By far the best chip shop in the area, gluten free Monday is so good, fish stays so crispy. Friendly staff, great food and amazing value for money!

Enzo's is a local pinicle of the community with fantastic fish and chips. Highly recommend. BTW they do other alternatives to fish.

After months of missing Enzos, and having checked Saturday opening times on the Internet, we travelled 13 miles to get our chippy fix. When we got there at about 11.50am. it was closed, and apparently not opening until 4pm. VERY DISAPPOINTING.

One of the takeaways that has operated throughout lockdown thanks to having a frontage and window that separates customer and staff. The food is always fresh, plenty of it and during lockdown, they were a ray of sunshine even stronger that the fantastic weather we had during the trauma of staying at home. More than a chippie, this is a solid part of Olney Life and long may it continue to be so.

Fantastic fish and chips. We had 2 portions of Haddock and chips. Reasonable prices. big portions, freshly made at the moment we ordered. Very tasty. Cause Covid19 situation we have to order from the window, but not a big issue. Fast service. We will visit again. Recommended. *****

A traditional chippy run by a staff who really provide a great customer experience. The quality and range of food is excellent, prices brilliant, service first class with the only problem being queued out the door on a Friday. Well worth the wait, however.

Clean, bright and friendly, Enzo's fish bar is popular for good reason. The fish is fresh and tasty, the chips just the right combination of crisp and fluffy and the portions are of a good size. service is brisk and cheery and prices are reasonable. This will definitely be my local chippy of choice.

My husband was very pleased to find that Enzo's has a gluten free night twice a month. The batter was light and portions were very generous. We shall definitely return.

Not many chips for a large portion. Also they do not accept a forced defence discount card. So have only given two stars.

We came from the other side of Northamptonshire as we typed in Google sit down chip shops near me. And Google recommended Enzo s fish and chip bar. So we got the kids ready and travelled 35 minutes to find out it was a takeaway and not a sit down chip shop as google stated. No fault of Enzo's Chip Shop Bar, this was entirely googles fault. We bought food for two adults and two children and sat in the car and ate it. The food was tasty and highly recommended it.

We both ordered the haddock and chips and although there was a queue it was certainly worth the wait. The chips perfectly cooked and the fish ....well a very generous piece of haddock and very tasty and very fresh. No nasty after taste and definitely the best in the area. A big thank you for getting it right....we'll be back:)

Really bad experience! Usually a great fish & chip takeaway with amazing staff. We waited in the queue for about 40 minutes but as it our go to fish & chip favourite we knew it would be worth it... Unfortunately the chips were severely undercooked when we unwrapped them at home and it ruined the entire meal! It was so disappointing as they we’re clearly rushing to meet demand and sadly failed. Next time the queue is out the door we will simply turn away and not risk undercooked soggy chips again!
