I have been planning to visit this place for a very long time and I finally managed to come. The food was amazing especially the Seabass burger and the aubergine. It is a cute, little, intimate restaurant and cocktail bar. I came alone this time just to see what the fuss is about and my oh my, I did make a great choice. The restaurant was full with just over 20 guests and the atmosphere & vibe was great! The music was the icing on the cake. The staff did great. I met Josh who was the host, waiter, bartender, runner and bar back at the same time. He did great working under pressure while delivering a great service. Thank you Josh for a great time. I will be back soon with more people. P.s. if you like toilet selfies, wait until you see their toilet.

Llegamos a las 8 pm. Tardaron unos 30 minutos en traernos nuestras bebidas. Entonces, no regresaron hasta alrededor de las 8. 45 pm para tomar nuestro pedido de comida (solo para tomar nuestros pedidos! ). Éramos 4 y estábamos compartiendo. El primer plato de compartir llegó a las 9 . 15 pm (así que 1 h 15 m después de que habíamos llegado). Para cuando nos moríamos de hambre. Pero luego nos siguieron trayendo 1 plato pequeño para compartir cada 15 o 20 minutos. Así que tuvimos nuestro tercer plato pequeño para compartir a las 10 pm. Y finalmente alrededor de las 10. A las 20:00 tenemos la red... pero no todos al mismo tiempo. Salimos a las 11 de la noche en cuanto terminamos nuestro plato final... el camarero se disculpó más de una vez, dijo que estaba solo, pero ¿el chef también estaba solo? Hizo todo lo que pudo pero entonces la gerencia necesita dar un paso adelante y hacer algo o nadie volverá. La comida es increíble, pero definitivamente no volvería o sugeriría a nadie. Y he visto reseñas similares explicando cosas similares que les suceden tan solo diciendo...

LOVE this place. The food is original and exquisite. Beautifully presented too. Cocktails also excellent and a couple of nice ice cold lagers on tap plus a surprisingly good range of sake (they can guide you through it if like me you don’t have a clue!). Similarly original ambience - particularly the toilet (you have to see it!). Small so quite intimate but also lively. Reasonably priced for the quality of the food. Service has been excellent whenever I’ve been. Highly recommend!

We were at a table in the back room near the kitchen and the loos, resulting in a lot of traffic and unpleasant noise. Food was good but over rated, certainly not at the Nobu standard. Waiters a little pushy on the up-sale suggesting we were not ordering enough. Overall disappointed and the Freak scene is not living up to the hype - unless you take it quite literally.

Incredibly tasty food, very original and bold flavours. Our favourites were the sashimi pizza, beef tataki, and yellowtail sashimi. Great service, even though there was only 1 staff member covering a full restaurant (he waited tables and was also the bartender). Only 2 negative points are: - they charge you for water - even if it's only £1, I'm pretty sure this isn't allowed? - expensive - we got a reservation here through a website that offers 50% off the food menu and were happy with how much we paid after discount

Freak Scene is an experience. A few reviews here judge the price tag of the food. - it is worth noting that if you’re thinking of spending £30 / £40 per head, it’s not worth you coming here and limiting your experience. This restaurant is easy £60 - £80 per head if you’re planning on only drinking one cocktail / drink. The food: WOW. Everything is an experience. Really really tasty. It’s unique. I would easily rate the food 9/10 The drinks: some sophisticated cocktails and flavours. I had the “golden monkey” and I really enjoy it. You do need approx 3 - 4 dishes per person and they do cost £15 - £19 each. I would definitely come back and dine here again.

Esta fue nuestra segunda visita a Freak Scene y es una de las favoritas del barrio. Todos los platos eran excelentes, pero disfrutamos particularmente de los wontons de cangrejo, los bollos de curry picante y la mantequilla de maní y el desierto de gelatina. Buena lista de bebidas también y grandes cócteles para empezar. El servicio fue atento y la comida llegó a buen ritmo. El lugar es pequeño y ligeramente estrecho. Rechazamos una mesa en la barra para el asiento de la ventana, que estaba bien para nosotros.

This is one of our favourite restaurant in London for dinner. Everything taste so unique. I am obsessed with their 1000leaves chips. It’s sensational and everytime we have to have one each!! Edamame, yellowtail,chilli crab, artichoke & shitake,black cod they all taste so unique and fresh!! They used to have an amazing calamari that is not on the menu anymore which broke my heart. They are also dog friendly which is amazing!

Very awful experience when is time to pay, because they refuse cash (even I didn’t want any change) and force me to pay by card, without having any information that they refuse to accept cash. Mostly is the waiter was very rude and she was no treat you as a guest, which is not hospitality. She mention that in the restaurant no pay cash, and she did not try to understand me or be gentle with me. For her I had a really bad experience.

He estado volviendo a Freak Scene bastantes veces y después de haber disfrutado de cada plato que he probado (que es prácticamente todo el menú que diría) recomiendo una visita. Con la experiencia de Scott Hallsworth de Nobu, no me sorprende pero estoy muy feliz de poder comer este tipo de comida a estos precios. Aparte de algunos de los otros críticos que experimentamos un gran servicio!

Great food - the crab wantons, tacos, sea bass and duck curry are full flavoured higlights, but OBNOXIOUSLY LOUD (even my 20 and 15 year old kids thought so) . Turn it down so we can enjoy the food, have a conversation and we'll come back.

Small portion sizes especially for such expensive prices. They recommend 6-8 dishes and each dish is about £14-£18 so it racks up quickly. They also add a charity charge without telling you which I find as disingenuous.

Very small & cramped. Not really sure who they are aimed at because it’s not great for a date. Few big parties out the back. Food was interesting but not worth the odd atmosphere. Won’t be coming back. The team charged my card twice after the machine died and now they can’t figure out how to refund me (having gone in / called head office and the restaurant itself without success.) The manager was really keen to tell me they’d been in operation for 10 years for some reason but that hasn’t seemed to make a difference to their efficiency.

Found this place via soft launch website trying there Tuesday 7 course taster menu for £35 pp, normal £40pp, and discount on selected cocktails, beers, shots, soft drinks and sake. I like the colour scheme but I feel somewhat bias as green is my favourite colour, I couldn't quite get the general decor them but it was pleasant with pieces great to drum up conversation. Afew minutes walk from parsons greens station I'm not that familiar with the area but it was easy to find following maps. They only have one toilet which smells wonderful but could easily have you distracted in there with the wall to wall visitor signage. Service was attentive without being intrusive, sitting was comfortable but it is a very intimate restaurant so can imagine it would feel cramped when fully booked. As mentioned me and my guest had the taster menu, I forgot to take a picture of one of the courses but it was a rice dish, it was wonderful beginning to end and as a light eater who grazes and struggles to finish a portion and everything came out in wonderful timing. Never feeling overwhelmed or disappointed it was a true culinary experience which I highly recommend. I don't want to say much more because I truly believe it's a food experience worth taking. Classy yet homely, thank you so much for a wonderful meal 🙏🏾

Such amazing food, seriously competes with the finest of Asian fusion cuisines in London. Cabbage dish is excellent, tacos delicious as was the crispy sea bass and the scrumptious aubergine dish. Beautifully presented sharing plates, good choice of cocktails and wines and all at a fair price. Service was great too and ambiance is lovely. Couldn’t recommend more! Run don’t walk!

The food here is excellent but it is very pricey for the portion sizes.They recommend 6-8 plates for 2 people. We ordered 5 plus edamame beans which was plenty. I couldn't have eaten any more. Highlights were the black cod tacos and the hispi cabbage. Pork ribs were melt in the mouth and the green and grain salad was very tasty. If you don't care how much you're spending go for it, but for those on a budget I'd steer clear. We were not on a budget but still felt it was toppy compared to other similar places. Also if you're noise sensitive you won't like it here as the music is pretty loud.

Absolutely delicious food.ordered 8 dishes between two of us - left very full but every dish was extremely tasty. Waitress was lovely & friendly/very helpful. Cocktail was stunning. Tables are close together but we went on a Tuesday so was quieter and we had lots of room & weren’t rushed. Definitely go early in the week for the best experience as it apparently gets very busy at the weekend.

Do not waste your money here - terrible service! The staff are unfriendly and confrontational - asking us why we wanted to reduce the service charge from 20% to 10% (given that they had been rude and brisk with us) and then refusing to do so (they made us pay the full amount, even though it was ‘optional’). Music overly loud so we could not hear conversations. Also, beware of the 48 hour £50 pp cancellation policy which seems excessive. Left with a bad taste in our mouths - please spend your money elsewhere!

Crab wontons, wagyu sliders and the black cod tacos were very good. The pork ribs were fall off the bone but flavourless. Truffle fries were a bit underwhelming and greasy. But it was crispy. The condiments that came with it were good though. Cabbage was very vinegary if you like that. The fried sea bass was crispy but also bland. Very small portion sizes. Had to get about 7 dishes between 2 people. They recommend 6-8 dishes between 2 people. Pricey but we went on the 50% off day for food (not including drinks) so made it worthwhile. Disappointed that we didn’t get a table despite booking in advance and was sat at the bar. Not ideal to have a catch up with a friend plus eat. There are coat and bag hooks but not suitable if you have a long coat. The atmosphere is nice and it’s quite busy. Just think it was hard to feel comfortable for a meal sitting on a bar stool. They should accept bookings for tables rather than the bar.

Freakscene OR Freakshow? I’ll let you decide. This review is honest and Without Prejudice. I am the 5th former manager in 7 months, at The Freakscene restaurant in Parsons Green. The so called hot shot, top pan Asian restaurant in london. But if you dig a little deeper, you will see that, they treat staff badly, they threaten staff, the owner is in a relationship with the so called area manager called Maddy, who doesn’t like people, accuses the owner of making her cry and can’t run a restaurant, to save her life. ***The staff do not receive service charge or any cash tips*** The service charge pays the staff wage bill. You don’t get paid on time. Some staff have informed me that they found it lucky that they have been paid at all. This isn’t a slanderous review targeting this particular restaurant, but I do feel that it is important to shine a light on places that treat people like this. Too many hospitality establishments get away with this. I worked 6 days per week, whether that be in person at the restaurant or doing admin work related to the restaurant and to be ordered out of a restaurant and lose a £35,000 salary in an instant is a big deal I think. The senior management couldn’t care less. As Maddy said, Scott gets her to do his dirty work. I just find it totally shocking, in the manner in which it was done. I will continue to shout about this matter for a long long time to come and tell a lot of people in hospitality this story about how I was treated by this restaurant. Ps I will be lucky to get paid this month. #SpeakOut #Hospitalty

Visited in February and had great food especially the mushrooms in foil, it’s a lively place with seats close to together and hard to get in and out properly as it’s packed but food is very original. What isn’t clear from the booking policy and the confirmations is £50 per head charge if you cancel within 48 hours, I cancelled at 7am on day of a Friday booking for evening booking due to a back injury and was charged £150. There was no reminder in the text to confirm of this charge, or in the booking confirmation or in the booking cancellation which came through. When you make the booking it’s also no made clear. Had this been made obvious I would have tried to get a friend to take it and whilst it’s worth going I think the reservation policy needs to be be much clearer and customer relations side needs to be aligned with the food.

Went there with a friend. The average of each dish is around 15-20 but the portion is not matching with the price. Taste wise, the fried chicken was very dry (sauce was delicious); the beef tataki had too much liquid; beef sliders are ok but 23 pounds for two tiny sliders are pricy; tuna pizza is tasty but again expensive. Average price per head is over 50 and minimum two dishes per person (I was still hungry afterwards)

I made a reservation and was disappointed to find that our table was situated near the restroom and kitchen, resulting in a less than desirable dining environment. Throughout the meal, I found myself constantly bumped by both staff and other patrons, detracting from the overall experience and making it feel chaotic. Regarding the food, it left much to be desired. It lacked the memorable flavors and quality that one would expect, and I would recommend exploring other Asian dining options in London to truly savor the cuisine and make the most of your time and money.

Rude Vibes All Around: The Freak Scene's Staff and Management Need an Attitude Adjustment Okay, so I swung by The Freak Scene with a few co workers, and let's just say, the vibe wasn't exactly welcoming. First off, the staff? Total snooze-fest. Yeah, they couldn't care less. It's like they'd rather be anywhere else than serving customers. And when you try to get their attention, good luck! They'll give you major attitude. They barely even acknowledged us, and when they did, it was with zero enthusiasm. And let's talk about the food. I mean, come on, it's basically mid-tier pub grub masquerading as something special. And don't even get me started on portion sizes. Tiny doesn't even begin to cover it. But you know what's even worse? Their responses to reviews online. I saw many people had a similar experience and instead of being cool about it, they got all snarky and defensive. Seriously? Can't handle a little criticism? Bottom line: The Freak Scene needs to chill out and learn some basic manners. Save yourself the hassle and find a spot where they actually give a damn about customers.

For the price point I felt the service was very rushed and unorganised. Decor was below average… a few points I feel you should acknowledge before booking! -A 2 seater bench tried to sit 3 people at the back of the restaurant -£15 pre-made cocktails… -portion sizes very small - staff had no knowledge on ingredients and were a learning on the job at the expense of my experience - staff openly saying they were over subscribed and over booking to accommodate more tables. Very disappointing as I love to support local business to the Fulham area 5 VERY small plates and a bottle of mediocre Prosecco came to £220

Freak show more than freak scene in Balham. My wife and I arrived at 7.45pm for our reservation but our table wasn’t available. Another couple ahead of us was in the same situation. We were told our table would be ready soon so we politely and patiently waited for 15 minutes. I went to ask the front of house how long more we would need to wait and to my shock the answer was “I don’t know, people just don’t want to leave”. At that point, we just decided that the place wasn’t worth the wait and the effort. Why have a reservation system if you can’t make an effort to have a decent level of service? You can have all the hype in the world, but poor service will always catch up with you.

Horrendously rude management who haven’t a clue in what they were doing. We were seated in the private room and quickly forgotten about, 30 mins later they came back to take our order which we placed in two parts. They came back to take the second half of our order before they even served what we ordered first (bizzare). In due course the whole restaurant got smoked out because their extractor fan clearly didn’t work (or the chef didn’t know how to cook) Anyway they then forgot multiple drinks orders before forgetting our final two dishes and asking them to simply give us the bill so we could leave; the rather aggressive manager said to sit and wait as the last two dishes were only a matter of minutes away. Twenty minutes later they arrived. Despite this shocking service the bill was given to us in full with the full service charge (the table next to us had been offered a round of drinks due to their lack of service). Horrendously rude management who haven’t a clue in what they were doing. We were seated in the private room and quickly forgotten about, 30 mins later they came back to take our order which we placed in two parts. They came back to take the second half of our order before they even served what we ordered first (bizzare). In due course the whole restaurant got smoked out because their extractor fan clearly didn’t work (or the chef didn’t know how to cook) Anyway they then forgot multiple drinks orders before forgetting our final two dishes and asking them to simply give us the bill so we could leave; the rather aggressive manager said to sit and wait as the last two dishes were only a matter of minutes away. Twenty minutes later they arrived. Despite this shocking service the bill was given to us in full with the full service charge (the table next to us had been offered a round of drinks due to their lack of service). The food at freak scene is exceptional, but it’s a shame that the service has a long way to go. It was clear when we arrived that the restaurant was overbooked, to the point that they sat us in the private dining room with another couple on a shared table. The staff linger around on iPads the whole time but god knows what they’re doing on them as dishes didn’t show up, and we had to remind the waiters around 2/3 times to bring drinks and dishes. Water glasses and bottles empty and no one refreshing them or asking if you need anything. There is no sense of management, with staff not being assigned specific areas and also not communicating. After waiting over 30 minutes for two dishes - we decided to ask for the bill as it was clearly going downhill from here. They insisted the plates were ready so they would bring them. Another 20 minutes had passed and the last dish arrived. After asking for the bill once again and not receiving, we stood up to speak to who I believe is the manager, who was incredibly dismissive and didn’t apologise once for the experience we had had and blamed it on “a busy night”. It’s such a shame as this place has such potential with a fantastic menu, and should be a great local dining location, but can’t imagine it’ll be around for long given the horrific service we endured.

The food was delicious, the kitchen does do a really good job there BUT the service was appalling, the man in charge (the one that seems to be by the tablet taking orders) couldn’t possibly get our order right. We got double the order on over 4 dishes and also got brought food we didn’t order, it took him over half an hour to bring us the wine we had ordered and had to get up to get his attention about 5 times as he couldn’t possibly come to our table to check if we needed anything. Additionally our empty plates never got cleared so we accumulated a lot of plates on the table, again he came over and said I’ll clear the table, it took him about 30’ to do so and when he realised we were unhappy with the service he said the kitchen had been very busy. TERRIBLE, more so considering that the kitchen was on point and if anything it was him that made the kitchen too busy placing the wrong orders - not cool to blame someone else for your poor performance. We will come back as we loved the food but not for a little while, in the hope that they have enough time to improve the service. At this price point the service was unacceptable.

Great food, great service!! My gf and I booked through Ambl but somehow it didnt register on their system - they were fully booked so we weren't sure if we’d get a table. The host (aussie bloke called Pabs?) was awesome, he moved a few things around to accommodate us and we ended up having the private back room to ourselves!! The food itself was exceptional, we went for the: Chips - truffle dip Crab Won Ton Crispy Sea-bass Hispi Cabbage Black Cod Tacos (so so good!) Lamb Chops Duck Donuts (star of the show, i could have eaten 10 of these!!) With two glasses of white wine and a lemonade the bill was £140. We cant wait to visit again and try everything else!! 5* all round.

My wife and I tried this place out tonight after seeing it open earlier this month, and we’re simply floored by the food. After living in London for about three years, we both agreed that it made our list of top-5 dinners we’ve had. From the sushi selection being top notch (roll and omakase were great), to creative small plates and brilliant vegetarian options, we absolutely loved it. Can’t wait to go back, and a fantastic addition to the neighborhood!

I’ve you have allergies, steer clear of this place. The staff were lovely but the kitchen staff have no idea about good allergen practice. I explicitly told the staff before ordering that I was allergic to cashew, sesame and crustaceans. I said was there anything couldn’t eat and they pointed out 2 dishes and said the kitchen could make the other dishes differently. Half way through the meal my lips started going numb and I knew I was having a reaction. I alerted staff and they went to kitchen promptly to investigate. They returned and said there were none of the 3 things in what they had served. I probed more because I had only eaten recently from them so couldn’t had been anywhere else. Upon further probing, I discovered they had been using fish sauce in all their dips - which typically is made of crustaceans. The chef completely failed to look at the ingredients used to produce dishes and only the main ingredients they had used. Had I had a more severe allergy, this would’ve caused me extreme harm and potentially kill people. (Luckily I quickly ran to Co-op and picked up anti-histamines)

The food was lovely and so was the lovely black girl who served us but every thing else was horrendous especially the service from the other waitress who forgot to but our order through three times and we waited close to an hour for our drinks by the server who also ‘forget’ several times. To make matters worse, only a few minutes after we finally received or drinks we were ordered to leave by the blonde waitress we thought it was so ridiculous we assumed she was joking until she ASSAULTED my friend who booked the table for us by dragging her out by her arm she then waited at our table until we packed up and we’re forced to leave. I have NEVER had such an unpleasant experience like this before I am beyond disgusted but the service. No amount of food is worth the humiliation and abuse we endured I would never expect such abhorrent service from a restaurant by Scott Hallsworth

Some of the dishes were great, some came missing half the ingredients listed. It was fairly busy and some of the waiting staff seemed to quickly loose control of the room. The chefs are obviously very talented and some of the staff were fairly knowledgeable but it seemed like they couldn't handle being that busy.

Wow, not sure where to start. Food was on point but the whole experience was so awful it was funny. Apparently at Freak Scene there is a 24hr cancellation policy and should you have to cancel within the 24hr of the reservation you are charged £50pp. I had a table booked this evening but as i tested positive for Covid this morning I thought it the right thing to do and cancel. My friends certainly didn't want to join us so I phoned the restaurant to cancel. Freak Scene told me that I either show up or loose £200 despite me having Covid. Nice hey? Feeling quite ill but also recognising that I have to eat, my other half and I turn up for our booking. Freak Scene knew I had Covid but, nevertheless, sandwiched us in between other diners in their cramped little restaurant. I'm very sorry if you're reading this and have now developed Covid. We asked first for some sparkling water. No, no sparkling water as their machine was broken. Ok, I'll have a diet coke. No, no diet coke, only Karma cola (nice but not the same). We then asked for some edamame to nibble on whilst we decided what to eat. No, no edemame that had run out. How about the fried chicken? No, that's run out too. And so it went on. We'd just been brought our drinks and were pouring them into the glasses provided when the waitress came up to our table and hovered two minutes too long before asking would we like to order more drinks. Laughing, we said we'd just been given these drinks and maybe we'd order more later. The service was haphazard at best. One dish was brought and the waitress said "here's your chop sticks". Forgetting what we'd ordered, we asked her what the dish was. "They're chopsticks" she said. "what kind" we asked...awkward silence. "I think they are the jerusalem artichoke chopsticks" I said. "Yes, that's what they are" the waitress replies. We ended up eating quickly and leaving. Shame the food was mostly delicious.

My partner and I went here for a date night at the end of 2023 and we have been raving about it to our friends ever since. The food was incredible! I don't know how it's possible to make a cabbage taste so good. We were truly blown away. Service was also friendly and the space has a great vibe. NYE dinner Incredible set menu for NYE. Delicious welcome cocktail and unreal food - imaginative flavour bombs. Crab wonton and pork belly absolute standouts. Small but interesting wine list and creative cocktails with no faff. Some of the service staff weren’t quite there (drinks ordered but not actually ordered). Delicious food, friendly service, charismatic chef in action, funky atmosphere, reasonable prices. We came for their Tuesday set menu for dinner for £35 which included 7 courses. Honestly each course was delicious and completely different from the previous so brings a good variety. As we were sitting at the bar, we were able to chat with chef Scott who owns the place and was kind enough to make substitutes from the set menu as my friend doesn’t eat fish. Overall I would highly recommend and can’t wait to go back.

Food was amazing, but everything else was incredibly disappointing, especially the service. The waiters were constantly confused and they kept bringing out the wrong food for the wrong table. They were very forgetful so we kept having to ask for basic things a few times, like glasses for water or cutleries. We ordered the tasting menu, and the chips we received only had 4 chips, and it was meant to be for two people. Later on I saw that the portion of chips other table received was almost the double the portion we had received. The tasting menu was advertised online as £35 for 7 courses including dessert, but the poster in the restaurant was saying £35 for 6 courses. I thought this was not very transparent with customers. There were people around us having the same tasting menu and not getting the dessert, presumably because of the misleading poster. It's a shame because the food was divine, but I'm not sure if I will return here again.

Delicious food but WORST service experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Came 15 mins early and they kindly sat us down anyway as our table was ready. The food was excellent and as small plates we knew they would come as they were ready rather than all at once. Sadly the service from that point was terrible. All the tables were extremely cramped. The waitress came to take our order within minutes of sitting down but we didn’t have any menus. Weren’t asked about any dietary restrictions. Then we got our menus and ordered, no issues. The food was lovely. Sadly one of our dishes never turned up, and then our plates and cutlery were taken away. We waited a long time to then be asked what we wanted for dessert, but we hadn’t been given a dessert menu. We weren’t asked if we wanted more drinks. We were then given a vegan menu instead of a dessert menu and I couldn’t get a word in to let the waitress know because she had already left. When we got the desserts they were lovely. Then we were ignored for quite a long time, we asked for the bill and were given someone else’s bill. The table next to us were getting quite irate and started complaining quite loudly about the service which also soured the atmosphere a bit. This was the first time I asked for service charge to be removed and even with that it came to £60 per person for 1 drink each, 4 small plates to share and 2 desserts. I feel for that price a much better service experience should be expected.

The food was superb. Wasn’t a fan of the pork ribs but all the rest was sensational. Would definitely recommend the cod tacos, crab bombs and the bbq pork belly buns. The desserts were quite tasty too. The waiting time for the food was quite long, we received one dish only and then waited for 15 minutes for the others to arrive, long time apart from one another. The other downside about the whole experience was that we were there to celebrate a birthday and when the desserts arrived I was expecting a tiny candle on one of them so that we could sing happy birthday but that didn’t happen. Then when the bill arrived the waiter randomly asked whose birthday it was. I think these kind of attention to details are important too for the customer’s experience. Can’t fault the food at all, it’s a bit pricey but worth it, however the service had its flaws.

Excellent food in a funky environment - a great neighbourhood spot that provides something a bit different for Parsons Green. Sharing, tapas-style Asian fusion, every dish was packed full of flavour. I was really excited to try the Freak Scene as it looks great from the outside. However I was a bit disappointed by the experience. The menu is very limiting for someone that has a more plant based diet and although the decor was nice the tablecloths felt very cheap, there was very limited room and the seating was uncomfortable. The food was delicious and the cocktails were nice (although the veg options were a little pricey for what they were) and came out in a reasonable time but the service was at times slow to order and slow to pay the bill. We only had 2 items of food and left because the environment wasn't very comfortable and the menu was so limiting.

The superb Australian Chef Scott Hallsworth has opened his new place in Parsons Green (opposite the Bridge Club), He is clearly still building up the trade but his food is superb. It is a sort of Pacific Rim sharing plates and not at all expensive. We love it and I do hope it succeeds.

Very expensive, considering how tiny the portions were, we were left sitting for 20 mins to pay at the end. Of course staff were busy, but they weren’t very friendly. Roast came with barely any gravy only TWO roast potatoes and tiny bit of chicken see picture for £23 bit of a rip off. A real shame bc I was excited to try the dove, and treat myself to a roast but at this price for this little food - it’s insulting.
