Frankie & Benny's New York Italian Restaurant & Bar - Lincoln in North Kesteven

I visited as a family of 6. For a place like Frankie and Benny's you don't expect to get fine dining quality food, which I feel some people expect. I was expecting decent food that costs what I pay for it and that's what I got.I ordered the Garlic mushrooms on bruschetta for starter and a penne arrabiata for main with a side of Garlic Pizza bread. The starter was very good, very tasty and good level of seasoning. The main was quite simple, spicy enough, could maybe have done with more seasoning. The garlic pizza bread side was a little undercooked and doughy but nonetheless it was enjoyed by my party. I got Tiramisu for dessert which was plentiful and rich. Though our waitress was incredibly polite and attentive, one thing I did find odd was that my 21 year-old brother did get Id'd by the waitress for a beer, despite there being his 2 older parents next to him. I believe it isn't illegal for a person of 16 or older to have a drink with a meal as long as they are accompanied by someone 18 or older so when this happened I was a little confused.We used the 33% off voucher code which nicely took £20 off of our bill. When you truly took into perspective what youre paying for in terms of food quality and service it adds up, I will definitely visit again with my family.

Great food and great service. The menu is varied and there's something for everybody. Special offers are available through an iPhone app too.

Dined here on Friday after waiting 45 minutes for a booked table in another restaurant.From the minute we walked in the service was excellent . they bent over backwards for us and the lady and man that served us at 9.15pm on Friday (i didnt catch there names) were a massive credit to this business and the passion for there jobs was something rarely seen these days. they were funny and chatty but not in an invasive way. They were just perfect and because of them we will be back and because of them we will recommend frankie and Bennies to everyone. I can not sing there praises enough. Good food, great service......Fantastic...Thank you

We visit every month and it's always great even when busy .popped in for Mother's Day with my little ones and felicity was great .will not be the same when she's goes on maternity she's always smiling and great with our kids . The food on Mother's Day was great and hot. Will be back next month

I came to the Lincoln branch for dinner with my wife and kids for our daughters birthday . Flick served us she was very friendly and great with our kids . She knew the menu well and very attentive, food was adequate but went down .All staff were happy and friendly but flick stands out . We will be back ,we will try new meals and maybe they will have more taste than the penne chicken and mushroom .

A total cock up with the cake left my little girl in tears. But worse was the Managers horrendous attitude. A half decent member if staff could have saved the day, this idiot just made it worse. I am furious and will never return to this particular resturant.

Exactly what you expect with F&Bs but the service can be a bit hit and miss. When its good it very good but when its bad its horrid!
