Frankie & Benny's New York Italian Restaurant & Bar in Aberdeen City

The Manager Will, I think he was the manager, and his staff pulled out all the stops to make sure we had an excellent evening. After a bit of confusion, involving booking times and numbers, with us having 19 young, hungry 15/16 year old rugby players from Shetland. The folk from Union Square could not have been more accommodating and make us feel welcome. The food was excellent and they split the bill by individual as we requested at the end. All round a throughly enjoyable evening. So thank you kind folks at F & B's Union Square for making a great night for the boys! 👏👏👏

Service wasn't that great! I asked for the vegan mac n cheese and was offered a plain version made with real cheese after I said i was dairy intolerant! The food was awful as well as the quality n size of portion and how it was served. I had the vegan mac n cheese n my partner had ultimate mac n cheese. Both came in small bowls with no presentation, no side salad or nothing. Mine was like a mix of chilli con carne mixed with mac n cheese 🤔which was weird and my partners looked ok but didn't taste good, his was so bland and tasteless he never ate it! We had a garlic pizza base to share which he ate and had the rest of my vegan mac as I wasn't keen. When the server collected our plates, she asked how the food was as she seen my partners plate was left full and he said his macaroni was awful and tasteless, to which she offered him the desert menu 😂 All in all cost around £30 for 2 small horrible pastas worse than a micro meal taste and portion size, a garlic bread n 2 drinks! Won't b back and wouldn't recommend either 🤢

Food was good- small person had a hot dog I had the sirloin which was done just right. Lucy and Will were super cheerful, helpful and made us feel super welcome.

Just had lovely meal with friends. Picked the lasagne followed by chocolate brownie. Delicious. Service from waitress MIA was fantastic.

We went along for lunch on a Sunday, the service was very quick even tho they were extremely busy. Our servers were amazing and the manager Will could not have done more for you. The food was great, super tasty.

Visited today with my husband. First of all waited to be seated as waiter was too interested in chatting to the kitchen staff. A waitress then came to seat us. Asked for a drinks order so we ordered 1 x cherry coke and 1 x dr pepper zero ( i am diabetic). Waitress came back saying no cherry coke, asked for a strawberry milkshake. Waitress returned to the table with a regular dr pepper and told no strawberry milkshake I said I ordered a dr pepper zero to be told they don't have any. We decided to leave as we had been there 15 mins and still had not received anything we asked for. We were made to feel very unwelcome and as if everything was a major task for our servers. If you don't like you're job then just leave please don't take it out on the people who pay you're wages. On a better note we would recommend TGI fridays directly across from this establishment as they had excellent staff an nothing was a problem , the food was great and we even got a £10 gift card for our next visit!

ordered a delivery for bacon roll and breakfast wrap. Bacon roll was mouldy! Didn’t notice till i had take a bite out of it.

Food awful, service sloppy and unfriendly, table clearly not cleaned before we sat down. It doesn’t take much to make people’s experience pleasant… but this is clearly not appreciated by the staff. And don’t even get me started on the woke vegan advertising on all the menus🤦‍♂️ Will not go back even if I’m starving to death 💀

Unfriendly staff, slow service and average food. It took 5 minutes for us to be seated, whilst several members of staff were standing doing nothing. The staff stood around and were talking whilst ourselves and the tables around us waited 30 minutes to be asked if we’d like a drink! We waited a further 15 minutes for those drinks to come and over an HOUR for our food (2 pasta dishes)! We were sitting here for 45 minutes before we heard the chefs call out our order… Further, a member of staff was clearly new and was asking for direction and the other members were being blunt and inpatient toward him, he looked flustered. We sat in front of the kitchen and they were prioritising takeaways rather than in restaurant customers. Children around us were crying due to hunger from waiting so long. Truly disappointing.

I took my sons to this branch for a celebratory tea this week. My kids ordered the burger and pizza while I had the Dirty Dog which was pretty good. The kids loved their food. We ordered sweets and one of my son was upset at the presentation of his jelly and fruit as it came in a glass jar. Our waitress was amazing and quickly got us a plate which allowed him to spread his food out and this calmed him. Christina’s service was first class and she’s a credit to the restaurant.

Same great food I’ve always known. Ordered macaroni and pizza and chips for the kids. No complaints and empty plates, must be a good sign.

I was finding it hard to find somewhere to eat but decided to end up here and was pleasantly surprised. Tomek served me today and was very welcoming and had the time to chat with me as he saw that I was on my own. Made it a great meal thank you!

I visited the other week with my father and we were served by a young man called Tomek. He was so helpful and professional while also having good banter with us (especially my father) He is a credit to your restaurant. He really brightened our day with his personality. Thank you again Tomek

Having been a regular F&B’s about 10 years ago when I was in my later teenage years, I fell out of love over the years due to changing menus and generally feeling that the food at all F&B chains had gone downhill to the point that this was my first visit in around 6/7 years. Circumstances have changed and now with a family, affordable and child friendly places to eat down Aberdeen beach are few and far between so we decided to give F&Bs a try once again. We went on a Tuesday weekday around lunch time and the restaurant was very quiet, with only 4 or 5 other covers. We were attended to straight away and service throughout was good. There was a set course lunch meal which was very good value for money. I was really glad to see the food was much improved from my last visit all those years ago and more like it had been in the peak years when I was a regular customer. It was a shame really that it wasn’t busy despite the quality/value of the food but I’m sure if they maintain this that word will soon get around. I will definitely return soon.

Excellent food, the chef listened to my special instructions and the food was delivered still hot! Would recommend to anyone

After such a stressful period due to Covid, my flatmates and I decided to go out for dinner and drinks for the first time in a long time! We’re so glad we picked Frankie and Benny's. The atmosphere was lovely, the tables were all clean and distanced comfortably apart. There wasn’t a single thing we could fault - the food and drinks were delicious too, just what we’ve come to love about the restaurant! I cannot recommend this place and the brilliant staff there enough- all so warm and welcoming. Thank you so much!

We came in for lunch yesterday as a family. Our food was lovely and the customer service we received was first class. The waiter Ellis was polite, friendly and most importantly helpful! We were able to chat too our waiter, which you don't often find in other restaurants - which was lovely! During COVID times it's rather difficult too find somewhere that has as much of a positive atmosphere as Frankie and Benny's. This I feel is due to staff like Ellis being so welcoming, attentive and smiley.From the beginning until the very end, we felt welcomed and relaxed by the staff at Frankie and Benny's. Our food was served in good time, with it being hot and delicious. The COVID-19 layout was very good and social distancing was present. Making this restaurant more than safe for anybody who is unsure of where to go! The location is perfect for those who drive as there is free parking and the beach is less than a minute away if you fancy a wee walk after!

Came in for a meal for two tonight and was served by the lovely Holly! We were made to feel very welcome by her and the manager on for the night. Food was yum also. Thanks for a great night!

Turned up as a family of 7 (parents, 3 kids & 2 grandparents). Stood at the door way (as the signs asked us to) waiting to be seen to by the staff member. Staff member came across and just looked at us, eventually said 'can I help you' with that look of "what are you doing here" written across her face. We asked if we could have lunch, she said no because we were a group of 7 (understandable) so we asked if we could have 2 tables (one for the teenage kids) and one for us. She said she could only give us a table at one side of the restaurant and another table at the complete opposite side of the restaurant. We asked if we could have tables closer together. She said 'No' - straight and to the point flat 'no'. Incredible customer service!! Not friendly or welcoming in the slightest.

Acabo de pedir comida para llevar y pedí un poco de salsa picante en una tina y quien se ocupó del pedido fue lo suficientemente amable como para arrojar una botella de salsa picante, excelente comida como siempre y un nivel de servicio increíble, lástima que no estuviéramos sentados para dar un buen consejo! ¡El servidor definitivamente se lo hubiera merecido! ??

Tuve que esperar media hora ya que el sitio web decía que estaría listo en ese momento, cuando recibimos la comida, estaba fría, ¡como si hubiera estado reposando durante media hora! Devolvieron las papas fritas, para conseguir las frescas y luego nos dieron el orden equivocado de papas fritas, porciones muy pequeñas, pollo seco, ¡pish! ¡Costo 26 no impresionado! !

Visited on twice over the weekend. On both occasions the food was excellent. The staff are really friendly and couldn't be more helpful.

Apareció antes de los cines para tomar algo rápido y algunos postres. Ellis, nuestra camarera, fue encantadora y amable, y nos atendió con prontitud ya que no teníamos mucho tiempo antes de nuestra visita. Ambos tuvimos la “galleta caliente” y estaba deliciosa, definitivamente la tomamos de nuevo. ¡Los cócteles también fueron geniales! Se estaba siguiendo un servicio increíble y buenas medidas de seguridad. ¡Definitivamente volveremos!

Went in for breakfast with my boyfriend, food was really good, service by Danni was amazing, very welcoming. One of the managers stopped at the table, Georgina I think, nice touch!

For my Grandsons birthday we visited Frankie&Bennys at the Beach Boulavard,,there was 9 of us in total, 4 children and 5 adults, we all had a fantastic time, our booking was for 5pm, it was extremely busy as the local football had just finished and there was a KT Tunstal concert on at the beach ballroom that evening, our Server was Isabela, she was fantastic, very polite hard working and courteous, although I had an issue with my onion rings and fries The problem was resolved immediately, this young lady is a credit to this resturaunt, I would highly recommend this resturaunt and will definitely be returning Well done !!

Came in for breakfast and was served by Georgina. What an absolute gem. Had such a lovely aura around her and was friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back.

Staff is excellent special the Izabela who served us yesterday.Was my Friend birthday so Izabela putted birthday music on and candle on my Friend's cake which was a surprise!Lovely place, food is amazing, big portions and not expensive! Excellent staff and atmosphere. Definietly will be back soon. Thanks again xxx

The waiting staff were lovely, so no complaint there at all. However not only was the food decidedly bland, it took an age to come to us. When it did, my BBQ Ribs portion was luke warm at best, and the added fries, corn cob and coleslaw portions were much smaller than I expected.Also, we were offered the use of a toddler seat as soon as we arrived which was much appreciated. Sadly we had to take our six month old daughter out of it shortly after, as the seat stank of stale urine, so much so that not only did it put my wife off her meal, but we had to go and change my daughters trousers as they'd picked up some of the smell. I reported this to the waitress, but nothing further was said by her nor any other member of staff before we paid our bill and left.My wife also reported that the toilets were grubby when she took our daughter there to change her trousers. Her words were that they didn't seem that well looked after. Still smelled better than the kids seat though. Sadly I don't think we'll come back here again after this visit. I don't feel we got close to value for our money, food service was slow and bland and the kids seat left our kid smelling like an alcoholics sock drawer.

Aunque me dijeron que había 2 grandes fiestas y la comida podría tardar en salir. La orden salió muy rápido, el único problema fue que a pesar de pedir salir a las hijas bebés de la calle 1, llegó 5 minutos después de nuestros platos principales y le faltaba el pan de ajo. Nuestro lado de aros de cebolla estaba frío como la piedra, al igual que el pan de ajo que faltaba. Pida un poco de helado y después de esperar 20 minutos sin que aparezca, solicitó la factura y les dijo que cancelaran el helado. llegaron la factura y el helado, que era un desperdicio de comida, ya que solo se dejaba derretir. Además, la aplicación era basura, ya que podía pagar la factura. Nunca volveremos! ! ! ! !

Ordered from this restaurant through just eat. Food came in timely and I appreciated the care put into the packing of my meal. The food was tasty and I would definitely order from them again.

Had a really lovely tasty vegan meal and also a really nice vegan cheesecake was really impressed as normally did not do vegan dishes previously it is a real treat when the staff are very nice and the meal so good. Friend enjoyed and would certainly return to Frankie & Benny’s

Went for lunch Monday PM it was very quiet. Despite this it was 10 minutes before our order was taken. 20minutes to get some garlic bread and another 18 minutes once starters were cleared for main course, such poor service. My spaghetti bol was only like warm and after 2 to 4 minutes inedible as it was cold. I wouldn't go back.

Came here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon with my daughter and two grandsons expecting there to be a lunch menu. Got told there was no lunch menu on Saturday. Why? Well no reason other than to get more money out of people by forcing them to order the overpriced items on the main menu. The kids menu for the small eaters was a good menu with lots of different choices for the little ones, they can choose one main, two sides, a drink and a dessert all for £5.95 although the portions are miniscule, especially the desserts. On the other hand the adults menu is a bit limited and when I ordered lasagne at 12.50 on a Saturday afternoon I was informed it was all finished. Finished before 1 on a Saturday afternoon??? Someone needs sacked cos they’re not ordering or planning what they need very well. I wonder how many times the waiting staff had to explain the lasagne situation that day. So I opted for the carbonara for £9.99, it was just okay, a bit claggy although there was plenty bacon in it but I wouldn’t order it again. My daughter had the spaghetti bolognaise which is her favourite but agreed it wasn’t as good as it used to be. In fact we both agreed that this place has gone downhill since I used to take my daughters there for the birthdays when they were younger. Luckily my daughter found a voucher on her phone that got us the kids meals for free so that took the final bill down to a better price but most definitely won’t be rushing back.

Came for dinner with a friend and were served by the lovely and always professional Marion! I've experienced her impeccable service before and I always leave satisfied and well looked after! She's an asset for the company!!!

Me and my boyfriend had really lovely time. Our meals were delicious and we can highly recommended this restaurant. Also we would like to thank to Izabela for wonderful service and being kind and professional.

Had some fantastic chicken wings and a superb mushroom pasta dish. The good food was made better thanks to the excellent service from Emma. Would happily bring my friends back here.

After avoiding the place for years because of poor service and food I can happy retreact that statement the food was really fantastic and are server emma couldn't have been better in bodies service with a smile and made it that much better

A large group of us visited and were served quickly, all specific requests were fulfilled with ease. Very polite friendly staff.

Ha pasado un tiempo desde que estuve en este restaurante y no me decepcionó. Queríamos una mesa más tranquila lejos de los altavoces para poder conversar fácilmente y no hubo problemas para volver a sentarnos. La comida y el servicio fueron geniales y el servidor que se iba regresó y explicó que su turno había terminado y que solo teníamos que hablar con el servidor del bar que nos cuidaría en el tiempo restante. Tal cortesía es apreciada. Un bistec cocinado a la perfección. Gracias, Frankie y Benny's.

Attended yesterday for lunch about 1pm. Couple in front of me were taken to their table but the member of staff simply never returned to where I was waiting to be seated. I waited for a few minutes and then a woman came in with her 2 children and after waiting for about 5 minutes the children made a comment about having to wait so long. I agreed and we all left and went to TGIs. In total I waited about 7 minutes and the member of staff never returned to seat myself or the woman and her children.

Visited today with my family and had an absolutely amazing food and service. Everything was spot on. Didn't have to wait too much for the food to be served and Iza our waitress was fabulous. Will definitely come back.Highly recommended.

This was so exspensive. It was not good at all the pizza was not cooked and the burger was sooooo dry I do not recommend this it’s not good

I went for lunch today with my two teenage children. My daughter has coeliac disease and she was delighted by the range of options on the gluten free menu.

Like chiquitos next door it seems the management/staff have given up here... service is rubbish... very slow... and in our family of five, one persons main course was served when others had already finished theirs....

Popped in for a bite to eat while in the area, only had to wait a few minutes to be seated on a Friday night. Waitress spot on with my slightly fiddly order all arrive exactly as expected in good time, well presented and most important tasty. Meat balls brill and Spaghetti Bol well seasoned and not to hot. Side salad and accompanying beers and wine spot on.

Visited Saturday afternoon, & my friend and I were greeted by a polite male manager. We were taken over to our table and introduced to our server - Barbara. She was lovely, it looked like she had quite a lot of tables herself but she still managed to chat to us while she took our order. She checked back on our meals after a good amount of time, and offered us more drinks. I had the Capra salad and the strawberry lemonade - delicious! My friend had a number of starters together with sides and thoroughly enjoyed! Barbara offered us dessert but we had no space left - our main course was too good! The food was presentable and tasty - we will definitely be back!

I was in for lunch just after 12 with my son. We were greeted instantly and sat in a quiet area. Service was really good, I had dough balls to start, they were okay a little hard to chew some and the garlic dip was good.

Reserved and told two birthdays. Arrived and table not ready but it’s cool so waited. Advised again two birthdays with email vouchers. Ordered lots food and drink; rump steak tough and chewy. Calzone okay but too much bbq sauce. Vegan hot dog coated in ketchup not the greatest but wiped off with lots tissues and eaten with Lots of drinks at £3 a drink. Throughout we noticed a manageress kept gesticulating about staff this Sat. evening which was very off putting. Finished and asked to pay, and for this discount. Waiter was cool and pleasant And asked a boss (in black top) for advice who took a bloody meltdown, shaking her head and pointing. I finally had enough and went up and asked what the problem was as I hate bullying and this was it. We paid £100 with discount but you will be glad we will NOT be back and we’re making others aware. Disgusting behaviour to a new staff; I don’t care how experienced you think you are you just don’t do that in public places.

Went in for a table for 4 it was almost 8pm, there was no welcome, nobody there to seat us. Most of the tables were dirty and had not been cleared or cleaned down, floor was a right mess. Service very lacklustre. Thank goodness you do not enforce a gratuity. Food was unremarkable.

Had a great time sitting outside in the sunshine :D The breakfast was great, had “The Big One”, and the server, Anna, was friendly, quick and had great customer service. Left very happy :)

We had wraps and BBQ ribs at Frankies today. Chicken Wrap was tasty and smooth. Ribs was tasty and tender but could have had som more bbq sauce. Ok price.

I had a lovely day walking along the esplanade with my golden Labrador called Albert and happend to stubble across this beautiful establishment. I had never been to a Frankie and Benny's before but this has introduced me to a whole dining experience I wish everyone would be lucky enough to enjoy. As I sat out side a glowing ray of sunlight emerged from the resterant to my table in the shape of my glorious server Keara. She welcomed both me and my faithfull Albert and swiftly took my order to the kitchen. Only 10 minutes passed before my order arrived and everything was just like it looked on the menu. Perfect. I would love to come to this resterant again and hope that I am lucky enough to be graced by the sheer excellence of service which has created a new standard of dinning in the esplanade area. Thank you for a truly exceptional meal. I left with a smile on my face.

Just been out for dinner with my family. I wasnt expecting fine dining, but I did think I would be able to eat. Started with bruchesta well if you like cold stale bread with piles of raw onions go for it. My main was a veggie choice of beet burger with no bun and salad, again if you love raw onions this salad would suit you, also covered with the most disgusting dressing. Just a terrible experience.

We went for the first time to Frankie & Benny’s after an event at the beach ballroom. It wasn’t our first choice but here there wasn’t a queue. Great starters (dough balls, mozzarella sticks and chicken wings), nice mains (burgers and pizza), OKish desserts and drinks. The setting was OK, the service very friendly.

Went for early evening meal at F&B; at beach Aberdeen. I had a starter and main that had salad which was awful, it was bitter and lettuce was brown on edges and rocket was limp and old. Clearly had not been prepared in the kitchen and I suspect came from a bag and wasn’t fresh. Will not be going back and would not recommend.

Fantastic customer service provided my Emma, very polite, efficient and friendly. I highly recommend!

Fui a comer esta noche con mi esposa y el servicio de mi nieta era pobre y muy lento. La esposa quería una estaca de solomillo pero comieron así que ordenaron otra cosa. después de media hora pregunté por la comida, ya que los clientes que habían llegado después de nosotros habían sido atendidos. Me dijeron que estaban esperando en el salmón que estaba en el horno. las comidas de mi esposa y yo estábamos bien, pero mi nieta dijo que su pollo frito del sur sabía divertido y sentía que se había cocinado en exceso. Así que a los desiertos de los tres pedimos al camarero que regresó y nos dijo que solo había uno disponible y que era 17 30 horas, así que decidimos no molestarnos en pedir la factura y nos fuimos. Normalmente me gusta darle propina al camarero, pero esta vez no fue el caso

Hicimos una visita a Frankie & Benny's para probar el nuevo menú de desayuno. Tuve la pila de desayuno, que era bueno y mi marido tenía la pizza de desayuno menos las setas. La mía se estaba llenando y mi esposo me encantó la pizza nueva. El huevo encima fue un buen toque.

Staying in Aberdeen for the night and came here for dinner and was served by the lovely Billie. She was very friendly, accommodating and just an overall star!! Every restaurant should have a Billie. Thank you so much!!

Yo y mi esposo cenamos hace unos días y todo fue increíble. Normalmente vamos a la de Union Square, pero definitivamente volveremos a este restaurante. Tuve el boloñesa de espagueti y no me dejaron decepcionado! Nuestro servidor, Emma, creo que se llamaba, era realmente encantador y nos recomendó que probáramos la pizza de pan de ajo y nos alegramos de haberlo hecho. ! No tuvimos tiempo de quedarnos para el postre, ¡pero definitivamente está en las tarjetas para nuestra próxima visita! !

Not very good service and the meal wasn't great the ultimate mac and cheese it's s***yes I like Frankie and bennys but today I was very disappointed.

Went into here for a quick dinner and although it was busy for the amount of staff that was on, our server Hayley was nothing but kind and very attentive throughout our meal. Meals came very quickly

The food was good value for money but it was the waiting staff that made the experience so great! Our waitress was Keara and she was so friendly, polite and attentive! Very helpful with answering questions and making sure we weren’t without a drink or sitting with empty plates for long. Highly recommend on customer service alone! Thank you Keara!

Come here occasionally with friends. Always have the same chicken thing with bbq sauce which I love. Service is always fast and staff are all very attentive. On almost every occasion I’ve been served by the small blonde girl, Keara- she really is an asset to the team! I’ll defo be back soon!

The atmosphere was lovely, the servers were really attentive, he seemed to enjoy his job and did I mention that the food was good, becuase it was. My kids really enjoyed it there too.

Have visited both this restaurant and the one in Union Square a number of times, usually for breakfast or for lunch, and if for lunch, I usually have the meatball calzone from the main menu.

Amazing lunch with the family, soon as walked in we were seated and warned the heating was broken so it wasn't a problem to sit and see if we were happy to stay. We were! moved to a bigger table which wasn't an issue for the staff in the slightest, Jordan was fun and charming which went down a treat with my mum and niece! Always enjoy when staff are interested in a group and have a joke which Jordan did perfectly! thank you again Jordan will be back!

Went for dinner before the cinema, was seated promptly and waitress, Caitlyn, was very friendly and helped with our selections. The restaurant is very cold just now, as it was the last time we were there (over 3 weeks ago). We were advised the heating was broken but never realised just how cold we would be. (one staff member, I presume the manager as not in uniform, even had a jacket on). Food arrived quickly and was very good quality, we all enjoyed our food and Caitlyn kept offering us some hot drinks to warm up, which was a very nice touch but unfortunately it would have taken more than a hot drink to heat my hands and feet!!. Just feel a bit sorry for the staff to be fair. All still managed a smile which is a credit to them. Would have been a top mark review but for the heating issue. Needs fixing before I would consider returning again and overshadowed the food a little.

Came here for dinner last night, was served by Caitlin who was very helpful and approachable. Food came in ok time, she repeatedly checked back and provided great service. Only downfall was the restaurant was freezing! I had to sit in my jacket - I wish I had had gloves and a hat! I feel sorry for the staff having to work in such conditions...

Had a lovely lunch in here today. Restaurant was slightly cold but we were warned about this at the door and decided to stay anyway. Our waitress Kelly was very attentive and friendly. Food came out very fast; the house burger was lovely. I was even offered a top up of my tea to keep me warm. Couldn’t resist the brownie for dessert - delicious! Atmosphere was great, staff all seemed very happy and it looked like they were enjoying themselves too which is lovely to see. Will definitely be back!

Visited F&B; outlet at Union Square 21/02/19. Had a brilliant super tasty dinner. Had a fantastic service from our server Tilly. Who was very attentive with our table service and couldn't have asked for better. Young, enthusiastic and engaging with the customers and always with a smile to greet. This is only one review but I would duplicate it each time for every customer she serves. This server Tilly is everything you'd expect from a server but without question, definitely goes beyond her duty to ensure fantastic customer experience

Came here on Valentine’s Day with my partner and we were treated excellent. Staff are so friendly and our waitress Kelly was very attentive. The Valentine’s menu deal was good value for money! Always have a great time whenever we come here

Went to Frankie & Bennys for Sunday breakfast today and won't be going again! Waited over 25 minutes for 2 breakfasts and when they arrived most of the food was cold and dried out and items were missing. We each got 2 slices of toast, 1 each was burnt and the other didn't look like it had been near a toaster! We ended up leaving most of the breakfast and the toast which we couldn't spread as the small squares of butter they served with it were solid and appeared to have come from the freezer. Although plenty of staff passed our table not one person asked if our food was alright and we had to ask twice for tea to be refilled. We passed our comments on to the waitress when we paid and her response was that "hopefully it'll be better on your next visit". Don't waste your money going here, better off going to the cafes on the beachfront for a break fast.

I have not been to Franky and Benny’s for some time and I’m glad to say it was a great experience. We were served by a very friendly male manager who made sure we had everything we needed. He and the staff were all very welcoming and helpful. The food was delicious and surpassed my expectations. Definitely looking forward to coming again. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Popped in for a quick breakfast while waiting for a coach. Staff seemed unfriendly but that was just the start. Ordered 2 breakfasts. While waiting I watched a waitress use the same cloth for the milk wand on the coffee machine to wipe the side of a cup she was taking to a customer. Not even noticing that there was coffee marks all round the cup. Coffee came burnt and my partners looked like muddy water even with milk in. My latte wasn't much better just disguised with foam. I also note it was more cappuccino than a latte. Breakfast came and the pancakes had been truly over microwaved. 3 out of our 4 eggs were not cooked. And I don't mean just runny I mean not cooked. Beans were cold. Sausages were burnt and bacon well I don't even know what to say about the bacon. Not once were we asked if the food was OK and when paying not so much as a thanks just took my money and carried on her conversation with another staff member. Truly the worst frankie and benny I have been to. For a big chain you really need to work on standards

I used to love going to frankie and Benny before cinema but never again .food awful not the same menu.waited over an hour for food even though they were not busy .

As we were in Aberdeen for family weekend, 9 of us , we had booked a table on electronic system but this failed so no table on a very busy Saturday but they managed to accommodate. Good , tasty food. Even better with a wee voucher to help with bill! Also the service was excellent.

Visited 28/12/18 with a friend. I had the macaroni and cheese with the crispy topping. When it came, there was no crispy topping as advertised. I asked about it and she went to speak to the chef. The size of the portion was tiny I also asked about it and I was told that's head office that decides it. When it came to paying, I was asked if everything was ok, I said no, because I was disappointed with the size of the portion of macaroni, for nearly 10 pounds. I was told to take it up with head office, to which I replied I will, however, they don't control presentation. I did receive 2 pounds of my 22 pounds bill. I won't be returning.

Went to the beach restaurant and was seated straight away. My niece was given crayons to colour in a colouring sheet which kept her occupied. Our drinks order was taken swiftly and then thereafter our food order. I ordered the vegan burger (but requested cheese on it as i am veggie!) and my sister ordered the classic American burger. My niece had the chicken nuggets and fries. We normally go to TGIs but i have to say F and B had a tastier burger and more veggie options! Food was delivered quickly to the table. The onpy reason i did not give this visit 5 stars was my niece's chicken nuggets were a tad bit over done and didn't taste great. But overall a good visit and would cone bsck again. Staff friendly and made you feel welcome.

Visited today (boxing day) as a group of 4. On arrival we were glanced at by a few members of staff and then seated in the resteraunt which was empty and had our drinks orders taken. Our food order was taken before drinks arrived. 2 out of 3 starters arrived about 5 minutes before the third. Before any of us had even finished our MAINS! were put on the table and our starter plates pulled away!! What on earth? First rule of service is never to start taking ANY plate away until the table is ready to have them ALL taken and NEVER put next course on until all are ready and have been asked if ready for? The food was okay but bland - no cheese on the cheesy bacon fries and the bacon was half cooked and cold. Pizza arrived burnt. Have never ever had service like this and as an experienced resteraunt manager I would firmly discipline staff for this absolutely disgusting service. We were so shocked we just ate what we could, paid the bill (after asking for it more than 5 times) and left as we were so affronted. Will never return and would like to talk to a manager about this. Our plan was to come in, have a slow steady meal with plenty drinks before heading out. We also never even had a table check despite there being more staff than customers. Aweful. AVOID!

Always thoroughly enjoy my visits to Frankie and Benny’s and this time was no exception. Great service, great food and was in and out 2 courses within 40 minutes which was great as we only had 45 minutes before our visit to the cinema

Amazing food and service! We didn't have but they rushed the food out speedily for us. Ribs and Goat Cheese pizza, both were beautiful, especially the ribs, the meat was falling off the bone. Hayley was an absolute star, we'll definitely be back.

After a long day shopping had nice meal with friends service good used my voucher from app so we got a bargain

Visited this restaurant on a Sunday afternoon with a table of 7 and was served by a lovely waitress (Caitlin). All staff were very attentive and created a great atmosphere for us! Everyone loved their meals, will definitely be back

A place we go to occasionally and it's always a total treat, being a Saturday evening they were properly busy this evening but we were greeted & seated very quickly, our server (Hayley) really deserves so much credit for today's (& a previous lunch's) success- having a toddler with us she was so understanding and really pulled out all the stops to try & allow my wife and I to really enjoy our meals by cleverly ensuring the wee one was always catered to and entertained.
