Frankie & Benny's in Havering

Today I had breakfast at Frankies and Benny's at around 11am and it was fantastic. The drinks were served quickly. I had a bacon & egg bagel and it did not disappoint. Everything was hot and fresh. The staff were friendly and made sure I had everything I needed. Overall, it was a solid breakfast experience, and I can't wait to go back. Definitely recommend it if you're looking for a hearty start to your day.

I took my guests for a special occassion dinner here. We were served really bad quality food. Broccoli in children's meal was stale and chicken in the Chicken Parmigiana was uncooked. When I complained about the food, I wastold that nothing can be done as kitchen was closed. Also I was asked if the bill can be presented half way through the mains! There are many other eateries that will serve properly cooked food and won't rip you off.

I come here for lunch from time to time and my experience is always great, Anna is an amazing host 😊

My son and I by chance had a breakfast at franky and bennys in romford. It was made much more pleasant by the friendliness of our waitress, Anna V. We will be going back again because she made it most enjoyable!

Great service and delicious food!

I am absolutely appalled at having to write this review because I’ve always had the most wonderful experiences with staff while taking my family out for dinner. We booked a table for four on Saturday night at 8.30pm. The restaurant was all but empty. Maybe 5 tables of small families and couples. After a short while the server approached us for a drinks order. I ordered gin (after enquiring about the variety), soda & a dash of lime (I later discovered I was charged £1.50 for this.) Then another member of my family asked what whiskies they have to be met with “what would be classed as whisky?” Eventually, our drinks came up. The whiskies in a short tumbler, the glass of water in a lovely textured glass. My gin? Oh it arrived in a Coca Cola glass - I mistakenly swapped my glass for the glass of water because on what planet is alcohol served in a soft drink glass?! I asked the server if I could possibly have my gin in a gin glass or thereabouts? Several minutes later after being stared at by the bar server and I was as produced with a reasonable compromise of a wine glass shaped cocktail glass. Fast forward to the food - now bear in mind when we walked in we were asked about allergies and we said no allergies but there’s a dairy intolerance - the allergy part on the receipt said YES - so they were aware of the allergy. Said persons food came smothered in cheese so we asked them to remake it without and that appeared in about 2 minutes. I also ordered a garlic pizza to share which actually arrived with a small chunk of meat on top - so they remade that for us. I am aware the restaurant closes at 10pm and staff need to clear up etc but eating my dinner listening to the vacuum cleaner going off wasn’t amazing. The staff all looked miserable to be there (fair enough it’s 10pm Saturday night) Nobody knew what they were doing - even down to asking for the arrabbiata, but if it could be made pomodoro instead. Now again, I know we’re not in Italy but we used to frequent this restaurant and the staff were all experienced and competent. There wasn’t any floor staff I would consider that last night. When it came to paying, the server said literally nothing as I held my card out for him to take (as is usual). He ignored me and put the card reader on the table in front of me. £155 our meal plus 2 rounds of drinks came to. Last night was a sponteneous trip out to our favourite, familiar restaurant and now we’ve scrubbed it off our list completely. All of us wish we hadn’t bothered leaving the house as the service and attitude was so unwelcoming and cold. We will not be visiting again. I gave the food 2* because despite the issues, once rectified, were edible.

Very unfortunate. The blonde waitress didn't come unless we stood up and waved to her to please come. Then the food came. Cool and bland. I always wondered why this place seemed so empty whilst Nandos next door is always packed. I get it now.

I was greeted as soon as I entered the premises by a lovely young lady. The first question she asked was 'Do you have any allergies'. This was the first time that anyone had asked about possible allergies. When the 2nd waitress came to take my order I was informed that my chosen dish was not suitable for me due to my allergies. I had change my meal but it meant that I was ALIVE when I left the premises 1 1/2hrs later (the tiniest amount of the allergen could've kill me)

Staff are nice and welcoming, apart from our server, when you look around all are jotting down orders into there devices when serving customers but our waitress winged it and forgot half the food we asked for. The ribs were not much better sat there in a puddle of oil because they had been sitting for so long. Put me of Frankie and bennys now thanks

We were greeted at the door by a waitress and was seated straight away, we were asked if we had any allergies or intolerances as well. Service was pretty fast, and the waitresses were very pleasant. Atmosphere was comfortable. We both had the carbonara, which was lovely, and a tiramasu dessert.

I really enjoyed the place . Agnieszka one of the best Polish customer services. Thank you for welcome us so warm. Slawek is the best chef, carbonate and burger was delicious and very taste. I'm highly recommended this place .

Came in for breakfast, so pleased that breakfast has been restarted having been stopped after covid. Generally speaking it's above average food, service and atmosphere however a few things just bring it off 5*. Initially the seats were soft and comfy but about 20 minutes in and you realise it's a false sense of comfort. Food was lovely but I feel it has lost something, had eggs benedict and the sauce was just a little watery, over done with parsley and served in a bowl. My first cappuccino was amazing but my second awful, different people making but shows different standards. Atmosphere wise, good music and layout but the person who took our order whilst pleasant enough seemed to be in a rush and just set all off to a lower level.

we paid for a waffle which wasn't included which we could say through the app wasn't delivered. but we also asked for garlic bread with the pasta which was left off but can not say it's missing so we're now £6 out of pocket!

The best restaurant I have been to.

It was amazing. I really needed a night out and the staff there really made the evening amazing. Massive shoutout to Lefteris who I am sure was the Supervisor really made an effort with not just us, with every other table. He was absolutely brilliant, speedy service and good quality food was given. Will definitely be returning.

Our waiter and waitress were great, Lefti asked us to leave a review about him (did not serve us at all) to take all the credit and while we were trying to eat interrupted 3 times so that we’d leave a review about how great he was, even though he didn’t serve us. Other waitresses and waiters were very good.

loved it here! came for a party for my sons 6th birthday party, the children loved it the staff were very helpful and friendly with the children, they were being understanding, especially a boy called lefteris i believe. he stuck out to me the most he was our waiter and ensured everyone was satisfied with their food and drinks, and made sure if anyone had any allergies. he also recommended some dessert the kids loved. will definitely be coming back! shout out to lefteris!

Lovely place and lovely food. Always comes for breakfast. Would be nice if they can reduce the prices for lunch menu as its bit very expensive. Specially a plate of pasta is nearly 20 pounds.
