While experience was absolutely awful . Food was cold . Driver was rude . Nothing platitude to add

Chips were good but the burger was cold, I had to stick it in the microwave to heat it up. This is not the first time this has happened but gave the benefit of the doubt as it was cold last time too.

Chicken & Rice was very disappointing for the price. Small portion too!

The food was delicious but i was sent the wrong thing it wasn't the right meal and couldn't call the restaurant as there number doesn't work. I'm hopping to get a full refund as its not what I wanted.

I do not know if it was late, I had to chose something as It was delivered in the wrong address, on the doorstep because the neighbours were not there! So food now is cold! This is not acceptable!

used to order from here nearly weekly but i dunno if the staff changed or what but the order time is now terrible, the chickens never cooked properly and it just seems like they dont care anymore... its a shame.

was not to great as I asked for some cutlery and there wasn't much rice for a whole chicken also the mash was really poorly portioned and the chicken was nice but rice and mash was badly portioned and also no salad or even any source which I requested for ...

This is the best order I've had in a while. portion sizes dropped significantly but the last two orders they've upped there game. and if you always read the notes then you may of cracked it and I'll be ordering more frequent again 👍 well done keep it up

I don't like leaving borderline-negative feedback, however chicken was really dry, halloumi was on the verge of burnt & delivery driver was so miserable. sauces & flavours were really good though, so we're the Cajun fries. shame about service & dryness.

Ordered from here last night not only did it take years to come when it did come they got the order wrong clearly don’t know what plain means also the food was basically on fire with powder Peri peri not sure if this was to mask the fact that the food was stone cold or what but me and the mrs are paying for it on the loo today that’s for sure possibly even food poisoning so that’s great….. dying business it used to be good in time it’s just become an other run down unhygienic take away shop.

absolutely ridiculous. food was over 2 hours late. the contact number they have listed doesn't work (it has been like that for a number of months now) and their answer is simply "sorry we were busy". they didn't call us to notify us of the lateness, we had to keep chasing through just eat. avoid if you want a meal to be delivered on time

Disgusting scam company. Used to be good but they are horrible now. Order your food from them and be lucky if you receive the food next day Probably the worst takeaway in Southend.

Absolutely shocking. Waited 2 hours for food. Got so fed up I actually drove to the place to ask where my food is. I just got dismissed. I asked for a full refund and the guy got his phone out and started texting someone. Disgusting service. Will defo not be coming back to this place. Kitchen was in a right state. Needs shutting down asap.

Stay away, very unhygienic, no respect of customer, very dry chicken, poor quality, I saw the chef cutting cooked chicken on red board whereas it is the board for raw meat, it is serious food contamination hazard. These restaurants needs to be reffered to council for investigation's immediately.

What a waste of time, ordered from Uber for pickup at first, took ages to prepare and we went in to pickup 2 rice bowl they gave us without spoon or any other cutlery (said they didn’t had it), kitchen looked super unhygienic. Worst takeaway

Don't waste your time. Ordered on UberEats, 1h40 later I ended up cancelling as when I called to ask where it was the chap initially just hung up and then tried to fob me off with excuses. It's a shame as I've ordered from here quite a bit but the past two times have just been so bad, I'd rather order from somewhere and not have to guess if I'm going to get my food.

Used to like this place but the standards keep slipping. Delivery was late tonight but not ridiculously so. Driver at the door just kinda grunted at me, handed me a wet carrier bag and walked off. The food was completely stone cold. Not even the hint of any warmth whatsoever. I microwaved it and it tasted ok but portion sizes were pathetic really. I paid £2.99 to go large. I would’ve expected more food even if i hadn’t. Such a shame as this place used to be really satisfying. It’s not good value

some of the food was very tasty but all of it was cold, only the chicken was slightly warm. the ohine number doesn't work, the restaurant said the food was delivered within 1hr on the app when it was closer to actually 2 hours 30. it only updated on the app when I requested an update.

This is the second time that I have had to throw food away because of cold food, the can of drink was warmer than the food, the drink was not that was ordered either maybe its time to have a change. Don't even get a refund these days.

The food come it was freezing cold…. A portion of halloumi was literally the smallest slice of burnt halloumi. Order hot perk peri and received lemon one overall terrible experience and will not order from here again

Terrible service. The food was not cooked well, the chicken was of poor quality and it arrived cold. They contacted me to say they had run out of the mixed grill, promised a refund and never did. The lettuce in the salad they provided that I never requested was limp and clearly been sat outside for longer than it needed. I couldn’t really find anything good to say about the meal and the service apart from the fact it allowed me to not go into work for the following days because I was too busy mamaking

Not sure how there getting such bad reviews? Especially for timing? I ordered mine and it said between 17.15-17.55 it got here at 17.45 and I live in Leigh on sea as well. Food isn’t the. Best but it’s ok, yes the chips may been. Little cold but have had to come from Southend, and I heated them up for 30secs in microwave and was fine, the rice I hav to say was worst part as I wasn’t expecting it so spicy I couldn’t eat it! The halloumi is my favourite and was nice however I would say cook for less time as it was a small amount of burned. The chicken wrap was actually amazing no issues apart from bit more sauce in it next time please 🙏 thanks However overall the meal was nice, I ate it all, came quickly and no issues so don’t get why everyone else is havin them!

How can I review something that hasn’t arrived?

The food was okay, delivery time took for an hour they keep saying driver on the way but still no one arrives after an hour. Chicken was dry and too much lemon on the meat! Tried to contact the restaurant but the contact number they gave on the website is not working!!

The skewers were rock hard and so dry after one bite I threw them all. The frozen mash wasn’t cooked, don’t think they checked before giving it. The wings were also very dry and struggled to eat it. Whole chicken was edible. My throat is in pain from how hard and dry it all was.

Every time I order from here it’s always fresh! The service is great and foods perfect! Would highly recommend and would definitely order again! Thanks chef

Do not order from here. Order was 2 hours late and all the food was freezing cold. The restaurant's number does not go through. Halloumi is one small piece only and which was also cold. We was unable to eat the food as it was cold and did not reheat well, restaurant refused any compensation.

Order was nearly an hour and a half late 1h20m. 2 hours after I ordered food turned up after restaurant not picking up phone for 45 mins (didn’t speak to them once after 15 phone calls). I used to like ordering from here but I won't be ordering anymore. Food was close to 2 hours late and was stone cold and inedible. I waited so long I decided to order food from elsewhere that turned up in 20mins - I wish I'd ordered from them to start with.

Ordered through just eat, forgot an item off of my order so tried calling several times so see if they could add something on me, the first few times it just kept ringing and ringing. Then tried calling a 4th time and was saying the number you’re calling has not been recognised, an hour passed, and was over our expected delivery time, so pressed the “my order is late button” on just eat, and change the other to 20 mins later, 2 hour mark is approaching and still nothing, no contact, no food, no one answering the phone. Really gutted as me and partner have ordered from here lots of time in the past

The delivery was late and my food was cold. The driver practically shoved the food to me (he didn’t even knock on the door, he hovered and luckily i heard his car pull up). I tried to contact the restaurant multiple times and there was no answer, and at times it said the number was not recognised, so i presume they turned the phones off. The food used to be amazing from here but the chicken was awful quality and once again, everything was cold.

The Worst food I’ve ever ordered. I ordered X2 wrap meals, X1 burger meal with corn on the cobs. It was an hour late, I tried contacting just eat to get my money back as the number for Frangoz says it is not recognised but all they kept saying is I need to contact the restaurant which again the number doesn’t work for there restaurant. When the food arrived the food was the coldest food I’ve ever received it was literally like it had been left on the side over night. I told the delivery driver it was unacceptable but he couldn’t understand me he said and that he would get the restaurant to contact me. I didn’t hear back from them or the driver & our food had to go into the bin and I had to go get the kids something else for dinner!

Order from here around twice a month. Food is great, chips are lovely and I enjoy their halloumi and peri wraps. Ocassionally they are late with delivery, but they deliver themselves so I am aware of this. Unlike other reviews only once I remember it arrived cold, which I was refunded so no issue. Been ordering for around 2 years and will continue to do so.
