Great pizza and service as usual from Franco Manca.

Nathan was a very good waiter and food was delicious

I loved it here so much the food tasted amazing, the waitress’s were very lovely. Eleanor and Elle served us and they came back to see how we were doing part way through our meal and overall were very sweet. Their homemade lemonade is a must to try it is delicious, and the atmosphere around us was great. I love how there was all lights and plants to sit outside and inside seemed to be giving a cozy and warm vibe, I will definitely be coming back.

Initial service was great, but once our welcomer went home we had to keep summoning staff rather than them checking up on us occasionally.

Great food and service. Massive shout out to the waitress who ran half of Leeds to give me back the sunglasses I’d forgotten.

Have been here a several time and simply love this place and the food,but this time was literally the best and cannot wait to get back here again and all the credit goes to our amazing server Ellie, she has been the sweetest through out , simply the best

Izzy and Ed were absolutely marvellous, came a few weeks ago and my god I was well and truly looked after. Never had such good service and I’ve been the ivy.

This was a bit of a mixed and slightly surreal experience, initial service was great, super attentive and answered questions other members of our party had really well. We ordered a couple of "number 8" pizzas (Free range chicken marinated with spices, roasted courgette base, mozzarella, Franco’s grana, fresh mixed chillies & crunchy tarallini crumbs), a tuna salad another pizza, the chicken salad and some other bits and bobs. One pizza came out sliced, the other whole which wasn't too much of a challenge but the tuna salad was truly uninspiring. Essentially half a bag of mixed leaves and a few blobs of tuna with no sign of the "creamy dressing", a few drops of something oily on some leaves at best, most likely from the tuna juices. I asked the waiter (pierced fella, dark hair) if the dressing had been missed, he went to check despite it being fairly obvious to anyone that's ever seen a salad. He came back some time later and said not, the chef says it on. We asked if we could possibly have some dressing to put on ourselves. A few minutes later a somewhat aggressive chap in chef whites stormed to the table with with a tiny white jug and angrily said "I've been told you want MORE dressing" and then stormed off. On looking, this dressing had no resemblance to anything already on the salad, it had been missed as we thought, there was no need for the fuss created and this really soured the experience. It was a few millilitres of dressing that had been forgotten, not a request for someone to add gold leaf to the pizza crust. It was just weird. My "number 8" was really enjoyable, good spice levels, a good mix of taste and textures but ruined by the salad palaver. In a city with lots of great independent and chain pizza offerings it's difficult to stand out from the crowd, unfortunately Franco Manca did this by being a huge disappointment. 3* for the initial service and enjoyable pizza, it would have been 5 had it not been for the miserable pierced waiter and the bizarrely angry chef. I won't be back.

Probably my favourite pizza place (to eat in), as pizza usually leaves me feeling bloated. Word of warning, if you order Franco Manca as takeaway, they recommend a few mins in the oven at home, which at a work event was not possible!

Honestly, everything from the sourdough crust to the espresso was spot on. Rishi was so friendly, Overall a good food and great atmosphere.

Visited Franco Manca Leeds for the first time and it won't be the last. The Tiramisu was delicious and Rishi provided excellent service. Highly recommend.Moreover shoutout to the manager Eleanor for providing fast service.

Went early Saturday evening with my wife and 3 year old son. Couldn't seat us inside but got a table for us outside and put the heaters. The staff were really busy but very friendly and helpful. Food was nice and came pretty quick which is always helpful with a 3 year old who can't understand his food doesn't magically appear. In and out within an hour which again is great for little ones. For a family dining experience it was well worth it.

the server was a little rude, she asked if i had any allergens to which i replied ‘i’m vegetarian’ and she said ‘not an allergen but okay…’ in a condescending tone the food wasn’t great, the pizza was undercooked in the middle, the pesto was absolutely horrible and the glasses we were given for our drinks were filthy. i had an upset stomach afterwards which i suspect was caused by the food! should have gone to rudy’s instead!

The staff recommended a pizza and it was delicious. The service was quite rapid, but I was sat next to the stairs and they were pretty filthy. It was a shame because the dirt was at eye level... And quite off-putting.

It's a nice place. Pretty cozy. But the service is extremely slow and not fair. I came first, had to wait quite a while until my pizza and my drinks were brought. The people that came after me were served first. These people really need to learn how to respect customers. And that's not all, when the waiter came to me for me to pay, he asked me if i wanted to pay £37.00. I said no and i paid £32.00.

My friend and I came in to celebrate my birthday. It’s the second time in a couple of weeks. Lovely authentic Italian food. We shared a delicious starter and I had a lovely halloumi pizza. It’s a good place for a vegetarian. My friend enjoyed a trio of side dishes as her main. We were served on both occasions by Toby, who is friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble for him.

We love the unpretentious feel of coming home to a Franco Mancas pizza! It's always 100% divine, even when I'm ordering a vegan pizza with a GF base (which Damian the head chef always nails!) It's also nice eating out at a restaurant where the staff seem upbeat and happy to help. We'll be back soon. X

Waited over 20 minutes just to be asked what we wanted- not even to receive our food! Restaurant is visibly empty on a Sunday afternoon, complete waste of our time. So disappointed.

I went for a pizza with my boyfriend yesterday at Franco Manca in Leeds. I ordered the vegan special pizza with the organic homemade lemonade. I've tried a lot of pizzas over the years and I genuinely can say that was the best one I've ever had! Great flavours and I loved the sour dough base in particular. For the pizza I had, I also thought it was such good value for money. Just wanted to thank Elle, our server for being so friendly to us when we arrived. I've not always felt that from staff in some restaurants, and so I wanted to say thank you to Elle for making us feel so welcome. (I hope this message is passed on to Elle). I'm coming back to Franco Manca soon for my birthday with my sisters, I can't wait to try another vegetarian/vegan pizza next time and the highly recommended tiramisu!! Thanks again to Elle! 😁

We were both disappointed with the food here, we have both the pizzas from supermarkets before and they were really delicious. Unfortunately the same can't be said for the ones in the restaurant, my partner did enjoy his sea food pizza but the margarita was very bland. The main issue overall was the service and drinks. The waiter forgot one of the sauces twice, said they were struggling to get a pint glass for a beer and my partner didn't rate the "no logo beer". I was served a gin and tonic in a very small glass so it wasn't able to be mixed, I was told this was a cocktail but the only garnish was one leaf. There was no check in to see if everything was ok with the meal, when we asked for the bill this was the only time we were asked if the food was okay. When we explained issues the man did apologize but made the excuse the waiter was leaving soon for Uni so he's being lazy.

Been there twice, the pizza was so good the first time I went there the next day to see if I had just imagined how good it was. But the pizzas are excellent. The second day was busier so it took a little longer to take our order. Once the order was taken the pizza came out quickly. This is a pizza to eat in the restaurant. The dough is light and you can polish off an entire pizza, marvel at the taste and not feel like you ate a lump of flour. We love pizza, we have eaten pizza in dozens of countries and cities, and France Manca is my favourite pizza in Leeds and possibly all of the UK since Princi’s closed in London.

Very good pizza and service and the deal for students is recommended as it’s cheap and the staff were friendly

Pleasant restaurant, tables a bit on the small side for four people with drinks & food. Staff attentive, prices are good for food, although drinks are a little bit pricey. Great atmosphere & you can eat outside during the better weather.

I went last sat, knowing it would be super busy and not expecting much in terms of food or service - Izzy however delivered an exact opposite experience, great chat & and provided an outstanding service. My partner and I came down on a busy Friday after a friend recommended the place, My partner is vg and gf and eating out isn’t always the easiest, but when we were unsure we talked to a chef Daisy and got the full run down and ofc a couple of fab pizzas, Our waitress Mia was absolutely lovely too, kind and polite and very attentive in a certainly busy lil pizzeria, We’ll be coming back again for a guaranteed perf all-round experience :)

Me and my partner visited Franco Manca Leeds and had a wonderful experience. Due to my dietary requirements, it’s often difficult to eat out and to feel comfortable with my food. However, due to the kindness and consideration of staff members Mia and Daisy, our experience has been second to none. Definitely recommend and will be back soon for more!

Really enjoyed our veggie pizzas, no3 traditional & no10 wild mushroom, smoked burrata and truffle, plus a bottle of red wine. Walked into the busy restaurant without a reservation but we're quickly seated in our preferred spot. Not rushed to order or eat up. Ed, our server, was great!

A small rustic Pizza restaurant in city centre Leeds. The pizza bases are made fron sourdough which is the main selling point. Personally the thin based pizzas cooked in a pizza oven are better than bread based variant. Prices are reasonable, the staff friendly and the atmosphere very relaxed. Pizzas are mostly vegetarian and some vegan.

We’ve been here a few times now, it’s always a lovely experience, food is superb , staff very attentive and friendly, the kids pizzas are almost as big as the full size ones. Great choice , happy to help with my allergies! Lovely wine served in a tumbler , not a stemmed glass (just how I like it) and the best part is the price, so very reasonable ! I will never go to pizza express again!
