Mixto Estábamos siendo atendidos por 2 camareros, sin embargo, ninguno rompió una sonrisa. Mi hija adolescente me estaba tratando para el día de las madres con su salario. El tipo que nos saludó, estaba muy excitado con mis alergias, que era genial. Pedimos una botella de vino, pero no conseguimos copas de vino, sólo vasos para niños, ¿lo cual era raro? Las mesas son pequeñas y estábamos sentados al lado de una escalera a pesar de que el lugar ni siquiera estaba medio lleno. Pedí una pizza con stilton, papas asadas y cebollas. Sin asados, solo patatas en rodajas, sin cebollas y apenas stilton, también cobraban extra por la base de GF. Mi hija tenía una pizza con tocino, pero el tocino estaba mal cocinado, pero me dijeron que el resto era muy agradable. También la pimienta negra estaba vacía y tuvimos que cazar alrededor de las mesas para encontrar uno con pimienta en. Lo que realmente decepciona este lugar es el jazz, (no muy italiano). La música jazz es un gusto adquirido. Para mí es inductor de dolor de cabeza y me hace sentir agitado. No estoy solo en esto. ¡Para colmo, la factura venía con el temido cargo por servicio! Los cargos por servicio eran horas de trabajo para mi hija. ¡Sorprendentemente grosero! Le expliqué al camarero que no pagaríamos, pero encantado de darle una propina. Ella le dio 2 libras. Luego discutió con nosotros sobre los cargos por servicio diciendo que el cocinero con quien ni siquiera hablamos merecía propina. Expliqué la historia de los cambios en la ley de propina desde octubre de 2024 ect. Casi 10 horas de trabajo para mi hija para pagar la comida, algunas personas pueden permitirse comer fuera todo el tiempo, otras no. Para algunas personas, una comida fuera es tan buena como se pone. Es triste que la sensación especial de comer en un restaurante no estaba allí. Necesitan deshacerse de la horrible 'música' de di-s, desechar el cargo por servicio y emplear a personas que quieran hacer que la experiencia gastronómica sea especial. La pizza estaba bien, con cubiertos decentes, y chequeos en lo básico como molinos de pimienta completos, copas de vino adecuadas ect esto podría ser una verdadera joya. En cambio fue decepcionante

Me and my friends went on the student deal, the pizza was so lovely and the service was great, especially Toby and AJ who always made sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely go again

Ordered through deliveroo arrived cold and not sliced. Obviously no napkins as expected. Poor level of service. Pizza tastes decent but it doesn't really matter in the end.. not ordering again. 👌 Please refrain yourself from replying to this with your apologies as it doesn't mean anything. Treat your customers who pays you for the food accordingly. We've had enough with poor service from you all.

Walking around Leeds and happened on FrancoManca Fresh sourdough pizza made in a great looking pizza oven Ready in minutes, so tasty and very reasonable too Highly recommend Well done guys

One of the best vegan pizzas I've tried in Leeds, I highly recommend. The service was excellent, the staff was super cool, they gave us their recommendations, they can make almost all pizzas with vegan cheese and they also have their special vegan pizza. They have non-alcoholic drinks, and vegan starters, the place is quite large with a very warm atmosphere, if you pass through Leeds you definitely have to go and try their pizzas

Popped in here for the first time on Saturday (table of 3) greeted by the manager(Eleanor) who was lovely and made our visit memorable, this is a key ingredient. Food was epic too, we will be back soon...

Ordered online from this restaurant and the pizzas came stone cold, they’re supposed to be stone baked. £35 for 2 cold pizzas, definitely will not order from here again.

Went for their january £5pizza offer and boy it did not disappoint. Haven't been to many pizza places in general so don't take my review as the word of god, but I really liked the one we tried. Also, how good is burrata on pizza??? Tiramisu was a bit of a let down; have had much better ones before.

Had the opportunity to get the pizzas for £5, and they were satisfactory. I got the franco's favourite and my friend got the truffle pesto pizza. If I come again, I'd definitely go for something else. I would say the pizzas here are nothing spectacular or particularly flavourful but it is good quality pizzas and crust is super thin so I really liked that. Portion size was gigantic. Disclaimer: I like my pizzas to be more crowded topping-wise but that's personal preference. I also prefer BBQ bases over tomato bases so perhaps my opinion on pizzas is inherently flawed but I thought the pizzas here was just average. They could do with a little more flavour. I can see why someone else would like it, just perhaps not me. Definitely worth £5 though!!

Light and tasty gluten free pizza. Friendly, helpful staff. The home made lemonade was nice. Pleasant atmosphere, not too busy.

I ordered a gluten free pizza. When it came, the edges were crispy, but the inside was like soggy, uncooked pastry. Franco Manca need to get another supplier to make their gf bases. It can be done successfully. I was charged £2.35 extra for the pleasure of this mushy mess! I went back again at their invite and the chef cooked a delicious light and crispy gluten free pizza for me. Top marks this time!

The restaurant catered for a large group booking on a Monday evening. The service was swift, all food came out together and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. Will definitely return 👍

Came here and booked a table for 2 at 7:30 on Sat 18th Jan to take advantage of the £5 pizza deal. We arrived about 7:15 for a table of 2, and was left waiting until around 7:30 (even though there were quite a few tables for 2 free). We didn't understand why we couldn't be seated right away, with more flexibility around tables rather than a rigid adherence to table allocation. We got shown to our table around 7:40, and despite ordering a drink, the waiter (with piercings) completely forgot our drinks order. When we asked him, he made an excuse about there being a party upstairs and said we'd have to wait. 1 min later, we ended up with our drinks. Without us reminding him, we'd still be waiting for them now. Pizza took a while to arrive, but was very nice. The problem was, the restaurant didn't had enough staff on to deal with demand. The female waitresses/workers looked very stressed in particular and did their best, but sadly they were understaffed. This was an issue with the management, who clearly lack any sort of insight in dealing with staffing demands.

Tables are small for 2 people. It's cosy. Food is excellent. Service is excellent and fast. The truffle mushroom pizza should be kept as a permanent on the menu!

AJ gave us a great service + delicious pizzas!

Only redemption was the £5 pizza deal, which actually was very annoying to get to work on the app. There seemed to only be one young chef on which meant we waited around 30-40 mins for the starter (1 starter shared between 2 people). The lager on tap was extremely flat which only a minute after being served became close to water level of fizzy. The service seemed at time seemed standoffish and rushed, I understand fully it’s a chain pizza place but they just came across as negative. The pizza we had for mains (served an hour after being seated) , the franco favourite and chorizo were both extremely greasy and slimy which came across as undercooked. I know it was a £5 pizza deal which may have meant more customers/busier evening for the chef and servers though the whole point is to get people back when it’s not so cheap, though when the food lacks and the service takes is impacted id rather have just spent the same on takeout.

Wonderful food and service! We have visited many Franco Mancas around the country and the food is always the closest to an authentic Italian pizza as we've found in England (and we've tried many places!). Service and atmosphere is always excellent, but particularly at Franco Manca in Leeds, where we're now welcomed as old friends! (We must visit too often!).

Went to extra effort to find us a table when it was very busy. Best pizza base you can find on the high street, delicious. I especially like being able to have toppings from any other pizza listed on the menu in whatever combination I want.

We called in at lunchtime today on the off chance of getting a table as we had not booked. We were lucky enough to be seated straight away. Our waitress AJ was very friendly and helpful checking we didn't have any food allergies and advising on food choices. Chose the meat special pizza and baked potatoes with chorizo both of which were delicious. Have been to FM several times and the food and service has always been good. Thanks to AJ and staff for making this another enjoyable experience.

They have great gluten free bases here, the best gluten free pizza I’ve had. So fresh, delicious. The staff were very nice and chatting to me and my dad before we headed to the slipknot gig. I would say, I prefer wine glasses rather than tumblers, as you can see that’s my rose wine - be nicer to have a nice wine glass or different glasses

We came yesterday afternoon as a group of 5 girls. Vibes were super relaxed, atmosphere was great and Rishi couldn’t have been any more attentive and helpful, full of enthusiasm and humour which made our first time experience dining with Franco Manca great. Thanks again Rishi!!

Went in with my daughter for midweek lunch. Food was great but tbh I kind of expect that here. We were really well looked after by the staff though and in particular by Toby - super friendly, super flexible, couldn’t do enough for us.
