Franco Manca Leeds in Leeds

We only ordered a pizza and garlic bread the food was ok but nothing special. But then again it was only pizza. Also don't think it's right that they automatically add a tip to your bill.

I come to this restaurant in Leeds once a month at least lol - honestly it’s absolutely amazing!!! These are the best pizzas you’ll find in Leeds. The base is so thin the topping really tasty and the crust is soft chewy and crispy all at the same time. The sourdough base gives a really great flavour. We’ve got young kids and we always feel welcomed here by the staff. Thanks guys! :) x

Had a great experience at the Leeds Franco Manca. Staff were welcoming, accommodated us sitting outside, adjusting heaters to make it more comfortable. Service was quick and efficient from our server, Nathan who went out of his way to make changes to the pizzas to make them exactly as we wanted. Can't wait to go back!

Ellie was a brilliant waitress

Very good pizza and very friendly fast service. Atmosphere wasn't the best but only because it was a Thursday lunchtime so it's nothing to go on. Would recommend

Gorgeous pizza and lovely staff. My partner has allergies and this is her go-to for good food. Staff are always attentive so that she can eat with ease. Negronis from here are also a great shout (and very reasonably priced!). Cheers to Nathan for sorting us out this evening!

This really spoilt our day out in leeds, we ordered there special Franco pizza , which we asked for half with a side of anchovies, that was OK but the pizza was luke warm, so we ate 2 slices each , then the waiter came over to ask if everything was OK, which we did mention that the pizza wasn't that hot , neither was the baked potato and chorizo side , the manager who really needs retraining in customer service, starting arguing with me , saying we ate the pizza ! We didn't eat it all ! He kindly said he will knock the service charge off ,,, which you don't have to pay anyway , iam so so glad that my staff don't talk to customers like that £ 35 down the drain and proper given a talking too by a very poorly trained manager

Pizza delivered was horrible. My Marinara pizza was inedible. Covered in mass of oregano and a few slivers of garlic on top of bland tomato sauce. Chucked it in the bin. husband's spicy salame was eaten but he said it was poor . Never again. Cost is £30- what a waste

Great pizzas, lovely staff, AJ looked after us really well and pizzas were first class as usual - we didn’t book but a table was soon found.

The food was amazing as always I love Franco Manca pizzas! But what made our experience better than other times we've been was our server Ellie who went above and beyond. We had a great chat with her and she gave some great drink recommendations! she was smiling through the entire time we were there and was just a lovely person to speak too. Every server should see her as the best example of customer service.b

Came here for a joint birthday celebration last week and had a great meal with great service. The pizzas were great, the salad (artichoke and I think mozzarella) was delicious and we had nothing but friendly, efficient and lovely service from our server Mia. Would come here again.

We had lunch here last week and from start to finish everything was spot on. Nathan & Eleanor looked after us perfectly. Our food, 2 pizzas & a side salad was absolutely delicious. We will definitely return & have recommended your lovely restaurant already to friends.

There was very little topping on the pizzas. The dough was raw on the cust. And on the pizza with buffalo mozzarella and prosciutto they added iit after the pizza had been in the oven but we think that it needs to be added before and it needs to be cooked on the pizza in the oven.

I ordered a gluten free pizza. When it came, the edges were crispy, but the inside was like soggy, uncooked pastry. Franco Manca need to get another supplier to make their gf bases. It can be done successfully. I was charged £2.35 extra for the pleasure of this mushy mess!

Eleanor was an absolute GEM accommodating a (loud) table of 9 at almost 9pm, and we all had gorgeous food, perfect service, and went above and beyond to be welcoming and warm. A credit to service!

As usual a lovely dining experience at Franco Manca, we have been to the Leeds one a few times. Our servers were very attentive and friendly, especially Nathan who entertained the two boys (and the rest of us) in our party with Pokémon chat. All of us had pizzas of different varieties and all were delicious.

I loved it here so much the food tasted amazing, the waitress’s were very lovely. Eleanor and Elle served us and they came back to see how we were doing part way through our meal and overall were very sweet. Their homemade lemonade is a must to try it is delicious, and the atmosphere around us was great. I love how there was all lights and plants to sit outside and inside seemed to be giving a cozy and warm vibe, I will definitely be coming back.

Initial service was great, but once our welcomer went home we had to keep summoning staff rather than them checking up on us occasionally.

Was very quiet as lunchtime but pizza and service very good

This was a bit of a mixed and slightly surreal experience, initial service was great, super attentive and answered questions other members of our party had really well. We ordered a couple of "number 8" pizzas (Free range chicken marinated with spices, roasted courgette base, mozzarella, Franco’s grana, fresh mixed chillies & crunchy tarallini crumbs), a tuna salad another pizza, the chicken salad and some other bits and bobs. One pizza came out sliced, the other whole which wasn't too much of a challenge but the tuna salad was truly uninspiring. Essentially half a bag of mixed leaves and a few blobs of tuna with no sign of the "creamy dressing", a few drops of something oily on some leaves at best, most likely from the tuna juices. I asked the waiter (pierced fella, dark hair) if the dressing had been missed, he went to check despite it being fairly obvious to anyone that's ever seen a salad. He came back some time later and said not, the chef says it on. We asked if we could possibly have some dressing to put on ourselves. A few minutes later a somewhat aggressive chap in chef whites stormed to the table with with a tiny white jug and angrily said "I've been told you want MORE dressing" and then stormed off. On looking, this dressing had no resemblance to anything already on the salad, it had been missed as we thought, there was no need for the fuss created and this really soured the experience. It was a few millilitres of dressing that had been forgotten, not a request for someone to add gold leaf to the pizza crust. It was just weird. My "number 8" was really enjoyable, good spice levels, a good mix of taste and textures but ruined by the salad palaver. In a city with lots of great independent and chain pizza offerings it's difficult to stand out from the crowd, unfortunately Franco Manca did this by being a huge disappointment. 3* for the initial service and enjoyable pizza, it would have been 5 had it not been for the miserable pierced waiter and the bizarrely angry chef. I won't be back.

Probably my favourite pizza place (to eat in), as pizza usually leaves me feeling bloated. Word of warning, if you order Franco Manca as takeaway, they recommend a few mins in the oven at home, which at a work event was not possible!
