I was here with friends on Friday, the service was excellent, and all the dishes were delicious. I highly recommend the pasta and pizza, absolutely top-notch!

I had lunch with my family yesterday, and I have to say that the pizzas were all outstanding. I've been here a few times, but I've never tried a pizza this good. Service need to be improved.

My wife and I really enjoyed our Saturday night out on Horsforth Town Street, Napoli! Come for the food, devour the atmosphere! It honestly felt like we were just part of a large Italian, family party! Happy kids running everywhere, multiple generations sharing large tables. Noisy, but happy noise, the gent playing the organ & singing was our family's patriarch. Food was good and authentic, service friendly and efficient.

Best pizza in Leeds and fun atmosphere that never disappoints!

Oh man this place is an experience. Not only does it look and feel like walking into an Italian family run restaurant (because it is one!), not only is the pizza incredible (the Sofia Loren is unique and brilliant) but one of the owners frequently comes out to pootle on a keyboard and serenade the whole place. Went with my partner, we had a gorgeous time and loved every minute. Planning to go back for my birthday.

The garlic bread and spaghetti bolognese was really nice, Stone baked to perfection.

We had a gorgeous meal here, the whole family enjoyed the food they got. The pizza was authentic Italian, delicious! The only small piece of feedback from us is that there was some live music (which was lovely) just very loud so we couldn’t hear each other talking and we also had a small baby with us and it meant she couldn’t settle. Other than that it was a great place!

Lovely Italian restaurant in Horsforth - a real gem. The staff are all so lovely and attentive. The carbonara is 10/10 I highly recommend it. They also have live music, which is all in Italian, this makes the restaurant feel so authentic! Would come here again. 😊

Authentic Napolitan pizza, delicious food, friendly atmosphere, live music. Overall we enjoyed our food and had a good time.

The atmosphere almost makes you feel like being in Italy, parmigiana di melanzane, gnocchi al ragu' and pizza are excellent, the desserts could be improved, staff is kind and efficient, so overall a really good experience.

Just lovely. The food was absolutely delicious but don’t order too much as the portions are huge. It’s pretty expensive but really tasty and nice staff.

Not been here for a while due to moving out of the area, went for lunch today, we all had pizza and we realised what we’ve been missing, we all enjoyed our pizzas, just wish we lived nearer, we had a wonderful lunch, the staff were so helpful and friendly, it was spot on, a proper pizza restaurant.

It's really unfortunate that the food was not up to its usual standard today. For all of us the pizzas had doughy bases the sauce was falling off and tasted like it had come straight out of a tin. The bruschetta was lovely and so were the fries and salad. Usually the pizza bases are well cooked with great sauce and flavour. So as much as I would love to praise this place- it can be hit and miss. And today was unfortunately a miss. It is very good at times but unfortunately today was not. I know this restaurant has very lovely and hard working people and I write this review to help them. And for their own well being hope they will continue to keep the high standards they usually always had.

Wow!! The food was absolutely incredible! Finally, penne Arrabbiata made how it supposed to be! The best pizza and pasta we've ever had!!!!! Staff were also amazing. This place will be our new go to restaurant

I absolutely hate doing negative reviews so please take this feedback and act before you start to lose customers, Me and my wife decided to eat here after reading positive reviews online for our anniversary. The pasta was uncooked and way too spicy, The Cheese on the Margarita pizza was uncooked in places and very oily the cheese practically fell off the break. I ended up leaving over half of it. I’m not one to complain in the restaurant I just wanted to get out of there tbh I’ve been to many Italian restaurants and this has to be the worst I’ve ever had. We won’t be coming back again.

I can safely say that Napoli nel Cuore’s pizza is definitely the best in town! Great quality ingredients and done properly.

Best pizza, bar none, and a great atmosphere. This is an unbiased review as I've fully rewritten my old review. We've come here off and on for years but lately it's been a weekly thing. Any issues that ever would come up before seem to have been totally addressed, and the pizza, which was always very good, seems to be on another level. The staff are really lovely, they take care of you, and best of all is the atmosphere. As my wife put it, this place is a mood enhancer.

Food was beautiful as usual. Freshly cooked pizzas, service is a great and the kids ate for free. thumbs up from me.

We were keen to try here. Me and my partner went last night and we were unfortunately really disappointed. We ordered the Italian sausage pizza (the sausage was a pale pink colour, which wasn't appetising and also very grisly) We also got the sirloin steak with creamy mushroom sauce, the sauce was fine. But the meat was very thin, chewy and was definitely a cheap cut. The chips that came on the side weren't nice either. It's a real shame because the service and staff were so lovely. We felt bad being negative. We had a beer each and a main and it was over £60! We were shocked paying the bill to be honest.

These guys are so lucky that our food was amazing because the service was absolutely shocking! We were seated and then ignored for close to an hour. We had to go and ask a waitress to take our order. At that point it still took her a while to come over. Drinks took 30 minutes plus to come. I understand restaurants can get busy but people who were seated after us left before we even got our food...

Update April 24 - I gave up trying to order for delivery as whatever app lists them it’s never available. We frequently eat in now, and it’s arguably some of the best pizza in the whole of Leeds. They got a new chef who uses less cheese, the pizzas are always well balanced and the dough is very authentic Neapolitan. The sides and drinks are good as well, good fresh salads and the cocktails are generously portioned. They have some very friendly waiting staff now, along with the slightly grumpy older Italian guy, but he just adds to the authentic experience. They are very kid friendly with the kind staff, high-chairs and changing facilities. The only negative I find is the loud buzzing from the deserts fridge which if you are seated nearby can be annoying. The pizza here is far superior to il Forno, and definitely more authentic than Rudy’s in headingley. You’ve got to try it. Original review - Pizza is ok, too much cheap “fior de latte” can make them quite rubbery, the dough is good though. Rude staff and almost impossible to order collection or delivery from - seems like they don’t care about business 🤷🏻‍♂️

Very noisy waited long time after starters food not nice at all drunk football men shouting desserts frozen

Very poor food and customer service. Our pizzas were burnt and the carbonara pasta was so stuck together it could not be separated. Initially the owner offered another meal free of charge, or a full refund. I opted for a refund, and 3 weeks later after numerous sporadic texts I am still waiting. Avoid

Been here twice now and I can honestly say the staff are fantastic and so courteous! Ordered the calzone and it was so tasty! Definitely coming back again 😀

I have been numerous times to Napoli Nel Cuore during the last year. We've started to gather again this January with our friends at this nice place. I would like to thank to all staff for fantastic food, atmosphere and professionalism. Huge thanks goes to the best pizza chef Pavel and the restaurant manager Denise. Pavel is an outstanding pizzaiolo and cooks the magic pizza. We travelled a lot around the world and Italy, but it is difficult to find as good pizza as this one! It's absolutely superb. Big thanks goes to the restaurant manager Denise who always makes us feel special and welcomed. Full recommendation to everybody who wants to enjoy family atmosphere in this unique Mediterranean setting.

İf you are going there, forget about having a chat with your friends. Unbelievable LOUD music and not a proffessıonal singer. Service is terrible, waitress was rude and grumpy. Food was good but we are traumatized by the ambiance.

Great service and food. Relaxed family friendly, very Italian atmosphere. Very relaxing and great pianist. The staff were accommodating helpful with our 6 year old and the birthday cake we brought. The pianist even played happy birthday for us. Thank you!

Went as a group for a birthday , live local and have gone here so many times before mainly loved it. The last two times I don’t know if it’s a change of ownership or something but service was appalling. Two of our pizzas were not cooked (which we knew wouldn’t be as saw on the screen they were out in the oven for literally one minute! ). The dough was still stretchy and sticky and the mozzarella was still in hard chunks! Staff said it was because of the style of pizza being a little smaller for a kid!🤔 yet the calezone for an adult was the same! My actual pizza was nice though. Slow service food brought out big gaps in between. There was only us and another table with one person on! So Christ knows how they cope if they have more people! Chef clearly annoyed we had complained about the Pizza! Muttering away. If you don’t cook the food obviously your going to get complaints! Your not doing it for free!! Clearly wanted us to go after this, turned music off clearing rest of restaurant and hovering around to take our plates and drinks, in a rush to get rid of us they threw the birthday cake away we had just cut up for people. They did apologise but didn’t offer to rectify and it’s because they were rushing us out. It was 9.00pm though so maybe they shut at this time I had not checked. Such a shame after many nice nights there to the last two times. Won’t be going again! Also speaking to a few friends they said they had similar experiences there recently!

Called in here on a whim and glad we did. Excellent pizza! Definitely up there with the best I've had. Really good selection of toppings and some different to the usual ones you'd find. Friendly and helpful staff and an authentic and clean setting. I reccomend the Don Ciccio pizza.

If you want an authentic pizza, this is the place!

It was my first time and I was met by a lovely down to earth welcoming staff member who I later found out was the manager, obviously :) She went through the menu steadily due to my dietary requirements and recommended the best suited for me I had the minestrone soup with toasted bread butter and parmesan cheese. It was just as good as the service, very fresh and a true authentically made traditional dish. Delizioso Plenty of vegetarian and pescatarian options. Completely opposite to what other italian restaurant experiences have been as generally they are quite moody, not this one. Will be coming again with family and friends to try more of their menu and definitely recommend. Grazie

Waited over an hour for my husband's soup starter, to find out firstly it hadn't been ordered, then it arrived cold. Waited patiently for mains, the risotto's were disappointing, hardly any fish in one and the meat one so salty I was ill nearly immediately after leaving. Lots of apologies given, blamed on a busy night. It got so bad it became amusing to see what would happen next. You know it's bad when the staff give you a wide birth and don't even attempt to give you the bill.

Super food. Great atmosphere. Holiday feel! Pizzas absolutely on point. Great to have Chinotto too: my go to drink in Sicily.

Ordered 2 pizza's. Both arrived luke warm and sloppy. Really disappointing after reading so many positive reviews. When asked if everything was OK, we mention the sloppy, lukewarm food. Response was that's the way it should be. Must say that never had a pizza that bad in many visits to Napoli & other regions in Italy. First & last visit.

We were there early in the day so had everyone's full attention. Very nice.

The pizza is slightly bigger than the usual and gives a feeling of authenticity. There was also a cute singer with a synthesiser. Some of the sausages on the pizzas are dry. However, the big problem is the over usage of salt in the dough. This makes you craving for water until the early hours after midnight. It’s an old trick to make people also order drinks. Also the service is slightly slow, waiters were having good time and fun. That’s fine unless you wait more than 10 minutes for the bill after having asked for it (and people just chatting).

Superb meal as usual here this evening. Special mention to Denise from Italy who looked after us and was so friendly. Staff like her help to make a customer experience special. Thank you!

Great food and a casual atmosphere

First time eating at this restaurant and we were very impressed. The atmosphere was good - busy Saturday evening but we weren't waiting for any courses too long and the staff were friendly. Nice mix of couples, families and different groups dining. We had 3 different pasta dishes and 2 pizzas, all were excellent. Desserts were yummy and the bill was competitively priced. Will definitely visit again.

Not a good experience. We ordered two pizzas which had really good reviews but they were wet and sloppy and the base almost raw whilst the crust was very well done. We just ate the toppings and left the rest. When the waitress asked if all was ok we explained and had the same conversation later when the manager came over. Neither commented. Bit galling then to later find that we had paid a ‘discretionary’ service charge without being asked.

This Used to be the best pizza place in England! But now their slacking off with occasionally rude staff. They started mysteriously changing their recipe one day and told no one, leaving me wondering why my cheese was cold!

First time visiting with my husband, 2 friends and my little bun in the oven ( 9 months pregnant). Loved the atmosphere, gave off the family Italian restaurant feel you get when you dine in a small family restaurant in Italy only this is a bigger restaurant. I love that you can see the food prep on the screens. Waiters were great, Alessandro (always served with a smile and very polite ) didn’t get the other gentleman’s name, I loved both their energy. Food was amazing, the pizza * Chef’s kiss*, dessert was good. Got gelato and wasn’t disappointed. We tried another Italian restaurant on the same street the following week, all I can say is I wish I just came back here 😅 but now I know which one a prefer! This will be our little family’s go to for Italian x

Phoned to order food to take away, after a friend bought us a voucher for Christmas. We would have liked to eat in the restaurant but due to our daughter being autistic this wasn’t possible. When my husband picked the food up, he was refused to be able to use our voucher! The man said we had to eat inside the restaurant to be able to use the voucher (it doesn’t state this on the voucher) so my husband had to pay an unexpected £40 for our food. We ordered the Napoli pizza, the Saporita pizza and the Neapolitan street food starter. The Saporita was meant to have a ‘potato purée stuffed crust’ but when we opened the box they had given us a plain crust and just chucked a few potato croquettes on top! This was totally off putting. The Napoli pizza was overly salty and inedible and the street food tasted stodgy and greasy. We are really disappointed with our experience overall.

Fantastic pizza and fun service - this was 2020 2023 - We booked a table in advance for 5pm on a Wednesday, for a family birthday meal with 2 young children. We went expecting the usual fun friendly delicious service that we have come to expect. Unfortunately we did not experience this. After we had ordered 2 pasta dishes and a pizza we were informed that there was only pizza available. This was terribly frustrating. Having reserved the table we could have been informed ahead of ordering that there were things not available on the menu or available till a certain time. We tried to order off of the starter menu but were told none of those were available either. We ended with two pizzas which were both of the great quality we expect but the poor menu options and experience has soured our view of this restaurant. IF we visit again we hope the service would be better. Apologies from the staff were given but nothing more was offered.

First time trying Napoli Nel Cuore, really spacious inside the restaurant with a nice vibe. Was nice and busy already at half 4 without being too packed at all. I had the Don Ciccio pizza and it was absolutely delicious! The food came nice and quickly (which was fine with us) and my partners risotto was fresh and tasty. Our son's Margherita pizza was generously sized as well. We will definitely be returning here at some point. Also as a football fan a couple of bits of football paraphernalia on the walls bit certainly not too much (a signed Napoli FC shirt and some small pics of Maradona). Loved that as well.

It's been my first time at Napoli Nel Cuore. I'd heard very nice feedback about this place, and now that I've been myself, I can fully agree with what I've heard. The restaurant is located in a very nice area of Leeds, away from the chaotic city centre, as you enter it, you are warmly welcomed by the bubbling members of staff. There's one staff member in particular that outstood, her name is Denise, she delivered us an excellent and attentive service maintaining a high level of professionalism. I've felt extremely looked after. Please send my praises to her 🙏. However, Denise was not the only pleasant surprise of the night. The food was simply divine, from starter to dessert, everything tastes beautifully, the pizza dough was literally as light as a feather. I'll definitely be back soon. Well done guys, keep it up.

We absolutely enjoyed the italian ambience and the sincere people working here, Gabriele and Denise were courteous and good with their recommendations. Pizza and coffee was stunning.

We eat out several times a week and over the years we have had some naff meals, I can honestly say this was the worst I’ve ever had . Restaurant was cold inside, ( I know everyone is struggling with energy bills) the food was freezing and tasteless, only thing to recommend was the ice cream which I expected to be cold .all prices are subject to VAT which I thought were included in the price of menu and then optional service charge. Needless to say will will never return

No atmosphere. Starters were fine, mains not so great. Ordered pizza from here before and it was lovely. Unfortunately this time, pizza arrived undercooked, sloppy/wet. Was told this was "neopolitan" style pizza. I've had neopolitan pizza many times before, and this was just inedible. The lobster ravioli was OK. Very thick pasta and dry lobster. Also, the wine was fizzy. Not great.

Exceptional. Napoli on your doorstep. Special and spectacular. The pizza wouldn’t be bettered in napoli at anytime. The service. The wine. The limoncello superb. I can’t Reccommend this place enough.

Was this real or were we caught up in a secret filming of “ Gordon Ramsay kitchen nightmares “ ??? Booked for a treat meal , never been before and read favourable reviews , but what a terrible poor experience . Arrived ten minutes late but had politely phoned ahead to let them know , but stood in the entrance doorway and nobody greeted us ! Five minutes passed before we were seated and another ten before asked for a drink . The portly waiter eventually came with his I pad and my partner started food order but his colleague dragged him away to take a larger tables order ! How rude ! Eventually ordered , 40 mins later a burnt portion of bruschetta arrived topped with sliced cherry tomatoes , could have made it at home ! Part way through we were asked if they could start preparing our mains !! This was over an hour after arriving , left the bruschetta and the waitress who turned out to be the owner snatched the plate and asked was there a problem ! Yes there was ! Spag Bol and Lasagne arrived and both very average, spag was not as good as a Morrisons saver meal . We left half our mains and I told them I was only prepared to pay for the drinks, this was greeted with rude silence and the bill slammed onto the table . I paid in cash and upon walking out the lady owner stopped us and asked “ aren’t you going to pay “ in a very abrupt way . Told her we had done and she told us not to ever come in again ! Gordon Ramsey never popped his head out nor did Basil Fawlty ! But our point was made of a bad experience . The pizzas may be famous but concentrate on your service and not on the endless trail of delivery drivers coming in for take out pizzas ! To be avoided ! Good atmosphere, friendly staff, decent prices. On our recent trip, we both woke up with crazy dehydration which must’ve been due to the amount of salt in the food. Will try this place again soon and see if it’s a one-off.

Amazing pizza, the best in Leeds!

Difficult to assess atmosphere as it was the world cup final so not fair to comment. Pizzas very tasty and lots of choices for vegetarians. My only criticism of the pizzas needs the toppings nearer to the edge. It was a bit too much bare pizza base! Any chance you could do a couple of different size pizzas as I would have liked to select a smaller size?

Always our favourite Italian. Having visited Amalfi recently it takes me back there and tastes just as good. Excellent restaurant also if you have a large family like ours!
