Highly recommended. Pizza, Guinness and meet the movers and shakers of Leeds. If you want to see some great music and meet interesting people this is the place to be.

Amazing pizza, tasty cocktails, delicious pints, banging tunes and killer vibes. Sela is the place for you. We’ve been going for years and have never been disappointed, love the place and rave about it to anyone who will listen.

Popped in on a Saturday afternoon as fancied a late lunch pizza. The pizza was excellent - just near perfect as to how we like our pizzas done. Decent value for money.

Good deal on cocktails, small and cosy bar

Trying to remember being here as out on the beer in Leeds. Phone died so no pictures to post or remind me.

Great place overall. Really nice pizzas at a decent price and their cocktails are also bang on.

I actually like the Sela bar its just the music!!. I went in on Halloween weekend because last years Stranger Things Halloween party was absolutely brilliant. Although there were people dressed up, there wasn't one known tune played, just the usual indulgent music from the DJs who never seem to care what people wanted to hear, just what they want to play. If you think I'm wrong, get someone to go upstairs and listen to the people talking in the toilet area. Needless to say, we didn't stay very long.

Love going here when in Leeds. Nice atmosphere and good music generally. Never any problem. Unfortunately I cant go anymore as they have replaced the Kirstall Brewery Virtuous with Pilsner. Virtuous is gluten free Pilsner is not so no beer on pump that I can drink. Sad that they didn't think that through.

Banging pizza, great beer selection, good service. Love that it's a literal cellar too.

Sela bar is a must go! Support your independents! Their £10 pizza and a pint deal (not sure of times) is flying under the radar and it needs to be heard more. They also do GF bases! Pictured is a half eaten GF olives pizza. One of the best gf bases I’ve had so bar. Not horribly dry or dense like most. You can sit outside on the street and people watch too. Good pints and always good live music.

Very basic and expensive bar Nearly £5 for a pint of larger.

Dark and dingy and to many over hyped early 20s messing around being obnoxious

I love a venue that focuses on a few items and does them really well. This is such a place. Beer, Pizza, and Jazz. No frills, just great execution and great atmosphere.

Throughout the years this pub has been a pillar of the Leeds community. Well located, great staff and a wonderful place to hide from reality.

One of my favourite places for drinks in Leeds. Relaxed, cozy vibe until the music starts - then it's great dancing all the way through! Tasty pizzas on offer too!

Great vibe and music. Although I was with great people so maybe was predisposed to having a good time. You need to like to dance though I think to really enjoy this place.

Just popped in for a few of my favourite Ciders. Bonus that there was a good live Jazz band on as I supped...

What an amazing experience and the house band was phenomenal.

Lovely stone baked pizza, great selection of house beers, wines and cocktails. Fantastic jazz nights and open Mikes. Funk evenings in a relaxed and chilled venue. Fab.

Bald bartender with the beard was awesome I hope manager sees this and gives him a free drink

I love this pizza! We rocked in about 10.30 on a Wednesday and loved the fact the kitchen was still open so made the most of beer and pizza for a tenner and it was delicious. A great deal considering I had paid nearly £8 for small fries and sauce with no drink somewhere else in Leeds.

Great little gem!! We went on a busy Saturday afternoon in December and it was busy but not packed! Great selection of beer and quick to get served! Also noted that they do pizza which sounded good! Have been here before and it’s always a good place to go, will return time after time!

Great vibe with the James Manwring residency every Tuesday. Not very often I'll miss it. Sound is great as well!

Nice little bar for beer, cocktails and more. Friendly staff. They have live bands on multiple times a week with different genres and tastes catered for. Good place for a dance and drink. They serve some pretty tasty pizzas as well. Definitely recommend.

The Girls Gang were on the sound system providing an 80's revival night. Great atmosphere. Good beers on draft and very generous with the measures on the gins and cocktails. Its a really nice bar in town, pizza's are good too.

Good selection of reasonably priced beers, my favourite is blackout stout brewed near Pickering I think. The pizzas are excellent value and large enough to share.

Came across the Sela Bar on the way back to the hotel whilst staying in leeds, it had a great atmosphere and a good drinks selection 😊

I'm not often in Leeds anymore, but Sela is by far the most chilled out, friendly place in the city and my immediate go to place when I'm in the area. The staff make you feel welcome and comfortable, the bar is red and glowy and the chaos of the city is completely muted. I've mostly been mid week for pizza and cocktails while catching up with friends, but I've been on a few weekend evenings and to a Halloween party and even when it's busy and there's dancing it keeps its chill friendly vibe. Drink prices are very reasonable and what's on offer is unique and thoughtful. The pizza is delicious, perfectly topped, hand stretched dough.. and astonishing value, it's cheaper than my local pizzeria! Highly reccomend this friendly alternative venue.

Great place for a more relaxed night out, a wide variety of drinks on offer as well as pizza. Kind of pricey though for just a standard pint, but on the other hand if you're interested in less mainstream brands of beer they have a lot to choose from. Minimum card spend of 5£

Reggae night was over all too soon!

...with a good atmosphere and cool, friendly clientele. We stayed here until gone 2am on Thursday and met plenty of interesting people.

Great little hidden gem, attended an event here. Not much choice in ciders, and no fruit cider at all when I visited, over all enjoyed having a few hours here.

Pizza has to be one of the best in Leeds. Staff are super polite and friendly. Has some good gigs n music. Ladies toilets are clean af! Definitely recommend it.

Actually the beer was good but the attitude from the two bar staff was really poor they really need to work on there people skills! If the owner who runs this establishment reads this please send your staff on some customer service training

After a few terrible drinks in other bars, we fell upon this little space with a fantastic band and a bartender who could actually make an espresso martini. Definitely returning on our next visit, lovely atmosphere and really friendly staff

Nice atmosphere but the bar staff need to learn how to make cocktails. The sweetest mojito I have drunk in my life. Ever.

I should have known by the barmans attitude that my referral to Sela bar for great pizza was misplaced. My craft beer was good but the pizza dreadful, cheese less, tasted only of that sour bitter tomatoes purée flavour and very manufactured base. It was inexpensive in cost but I still felt ripped off. I’ve tried this place twice now and fail to understand the good reviews and recommendations! I’ve seen more mozzarella and flavour in a Dr Oettkerr! Really poor and uninspiring service!

I'm not the kind of person who goes out regularly because I normally find I am unentertained and disinterested but this venue was very customer friendly and had a damn good atmosphere. The songs played were killer and when me and some friends started singing along another table joined in and we had some fun. Overall great atmosphere, friendly customers and staff alike. Would recommend it and I hear that they do live music.

I’m now a bit of a regular at Sela Bar...with it’s relaxed vibes you can often find yourself a table free in there early on a Saturday evening. The staff are all very down to earth and relaxed and the music is always good. Would definitely recommend for a quiet and cosy drink with a few friends with a bite of pizza on the side!

Cool little cellar bar, good ale selection and really nice pizza from their pizza oven. Sometimes have bands playing.
