Franco Manca in Tower Hamlets

I am Italian and of course I love pizza. I can say that Franco Manca's pizza is good quality, the service is fast and the waiters are very kind. It's a nice place to taste very good food

I had been at least three times, in previous trips to London, in this restaurant. I had really appreciated their pizza. Last week...a pitiful experience. The worst pizza ever. Watery, undercooked...

Their busy even on a rainy Monday evening! I got a table straight away. Clean. Staff were pleasant and friendly. I ordered the number 5 pizza which comprised organic tomato, garlic, oregano, capers from Salina, Kalamata black olives, Cantabrian anchovies & mozzarella. I had it without the mozzarella. Yes I am strange but I hate any sort of cheese! To drink I had a soft drink. Couldn't fault it. Freshly made, nicely presented. Came out quickly after I ordered and was delicious. Despite how busy they were, service was efficient. Not too badly priced. Most seating is inside quite close together and tightly packed with a few tables outside. Given the location in Canary Wharf, I would probably avoid peak times.

Franco Manca in Canary Wharf is a stellar pizza place, with very friendly athmosphere paired with a curated selection of freash, delicious, genuinely Italian food. We thank Simone for his excellent service and all the staff for the energy and the enthusiasm they put in their work.

It’s always a pleasure to eat a true Italian pizza at Franco Manca, Canary Wharf branch. The food is great, and the staff always super friendly and attentive to the customers’ needs. This time a lovely guy called Simone from Turin served us and we were impressed more than usual with his impeccable service! We will definitely return and recommend this restaurant to both tourists, residents of Canary Wharf and other Londoners.

Appalling service for average food. Took 40 min to get 1 pizza when the place was half empty. Never to be visited again!

Tried this branch a couple of months ago but the service was terrible, came back today to give it another chance, the place was basically empty on a Saturday at lunch time, we sat down and waited for more than 5 minutes while the waiters chatted amongst themselves.. than got up and left. I was speechless, no wonder the place was empty, the staff could not be bothered to do their job. Really sad as this was my favourite branch, and my local. Tried to find an email address to give a feedback on the Franco Manca website but could not find a way..

Once we arrived at the door we were greeted politely towards our table, Once seated we had someone take our orders within minutes and the food arrived soon after. Both pizzas were exception and packed full of toppings and flavour, same with the cocktail and dry cider my partner ordered. Overall I must say this experience was lovely and welcoming and I heavily recommend it to anyone reading.

I love franco manco the pizza is great and it was here as well chiefs prepared it well but they seemed the only ones interested in working the wait staff were miserable unfriendly more interested in chatting or looking at their phones manager (think he was ) just looked like he’d rather be anywhere else than there such a shame maybe some staff training might help.
