If your looking for great food, good atmosphere,great customer service and an epic night vibes all in one? Look no further. I give Fox & Goose a 5 star rating. I want to talk about the food here. I would normally be on edge with sanitary concerns but this is not the case I love that you can get a full eye and a friendly smile from the chefs quarters. He is so friendly and you can also catch him saying hello every now and then to his customers. This is one thing a like about this place. With the little talk I've had with Chef Bruce 👨‍🍳 on the times ive been here. Chef Bruce was born on a paradise island called Grand Cayman, he is so passionate about the meals he serve. He is a 5 time, Taste of Cayman 🇰🇾 Champion, 5 time in top 10 placed World Champion, World Wide. Wow guys that says it all. So if your looking for authentic carribean meals 🌞 then he's the real deal.. I don't give reviews but I just had to set this here for you to not second guess ever again about the Fox & Goose. So turn up with a couple of pints and chow down with food By the champ himself Chef Bruce. Thumbs 👍 up the management and staff at Fox & Goose. (Real food critic)

Full of loud drunks all day long an evening also they have had lots of covid 19 cases an they still stay open they dont adhere to the government rules Also drugs are present smells like weed all the time so off putting wont go there again!!!! Not the only local that feels this way

Great flavourful food, only waited 20 mins for our meal and it was brilliant.

The owners have taken on two so called chefs, food horrendous, cold, hairs in the food and made me sick. This is not a reflection on the pub as its brilliant. Soon as they get back the old chef we will be back for food.

The food is absolutely amazing. Perfectly spiced, fresh, very well prepped. Chef himself came to see our everything is ok. Didn't have to wait long for our order. There is kids menu. Friendly staff. I recommend this place for everyone.

I've been to many pubs, this is by far the best pub in brum! Great place to have a pint or two as the atmosphere and people there are great. The food is unbelievably amazing. I definitely recommend the butter chicken, it is by far the best curry I've had. The mix grill is undeniably something to die for, all cooked to perfection and at a great price. Everything on the menu is great, naans are of a good size and the keema naan is tasty and succelent. Overall, you wanna be there at all times as it is something special. 5/5 keep up the good work lads

Went at lunchtime with work the ladies behind the bar and serving food were fantastic we were quite a large group and we were served with smiles and humour. The good was lovely and extremely good value. Well worth a visit

A great quality place to chill out and have a few a pints. The food is cooked to perfection, the staff and the chef are really friendly and helpful. The seating is also never a problem. In terms of food, the mix grill is spot on and the naans are nice and soft. One downfall is that the mix grill portion is quite small. As someone who loves to go to the pub and eats bbq&grill this is one of the best places I've been

was here with friends,after our original booking was no good. not to long ago refurbished and nicely done, very nice inside,excellent food my starter and curry main dish was excellent,the staff were superb wont be my last visit.

The food looked far better than it tasted.. after being to many many curry/bbq mixed grill pubs i got 2 say the food was very mediocre to say the least.. foods was out within 5 mins of ordering and thats not a good sign for freshly cooked food..when the curry came it was like eating curry powder there was no true taste of spices in it just pure powder..the place had loads of flies buzzing about.. which is off putting.. will not be going back

If u like curry this is a diamond of a place, very basic little pub with a chilled atmosphere little garden / yard at the back with the wooden reels as tables ... good clean pint drank the estrella and a good basic menu without all the tonnage of mind boggling choice reminds me of the excellent indian cafes in cheetam hill ..Still spit and sawdust with much improvement on ambience will come with time to turn it into a cracking little hide away for lunch / supper .....what a very pleasant guy the chef was and extremely helpful ....good basic menu but superbly cooked when it gets going will give the four ways a run for it's money .....clean and basic don't be put off by the location or frontage of this pub the food is exellent ....staff could check toilets a little more often for loo roll supply .....but other than that I wish them all the luck in building there business and too a successful trade....

Fantastic place warm and friendly smart welcoming staff.excellent food nice deco and awesome atmosphere. The managment allow me to hold a meeting in there VIP room I hold the meeting for anyone who is stressed there every wednesday evening its a comfortable private room.

Stopped by here during a walk along the Black Country Canals. Very welcoming and has seemingly been renovated recently with some nice unusual touches. Particularly liked the “pallet wood” column separating the Pool Table from the bar area! I am thinking you might be able to add some colour yourself if you had a paint brush! Take a look! Also surprisingly the food on offer was solely Indian, on my travels this is a first, but it may something to do with this area of the Black Country. However it was delicious and the chef came out to ask me how I wanted my meal and to explain, a nice touch. Really enjoyed my butter chicken. It was close to Sheepwash Nature Reserve and also a short walk along the canal to Sandwell & Dudley Station, Perfect!

I visited this pub recently on a Wednesday with 9 hungry hippos!! I was recommended to this venue by a Indian friend of mine. To me that's always a huge plus !! Whilst I have driven past the pub on numerous occasions the recent extensive refurbishment has made it 10 times more noticeable !! Due to us arriving in a large group I had pre-booked and our table was ready and waiting (first gold star). We bought a drink from the very reasonably priced bar and took it round to the restaurant. The two ladies serving looked after us like VIP's and nothing was too much trouble!! We had fresh poppadums bought to us together with 3 dips which were refilled without hesitation!! As a mini group of 5 we ordered £50 worth of food!! Oh dear big mistake!! The other 4 ordered individually and equally they were all amazed at the portions!! At some pubs when they say you get fish pakora on a Large grill then you might get 2/3 pieces!! Not here !! they had to bring a separate plate as it couldn't fit on the top of the sizzling platter!! All the food was good very very well, the naans fresh and tasty as well!! The meat all cooked and spiced well. The chops marinated properly which is always another gold star for me. Another gold star for the meat in the Lamb Jalfrezi, it literally did not need chewing at all. I do hope the owners keep the quality the same and to be honest I have no doubts they will. The butter Chicken was another dish that got the thumbs up from us, the sauce was very very nice and chicken cooked perfectly. I have to be honest we did eat all the food but more through greed than anything else, I rolled out down the road extremely stuffed !! Special praise should be given to Dippy, who I met for the first time but it was like i'd known him a while and to the two ladies looking after us in the bar. Plates were cleared swiftly but not too soon and there was a great amount of chat/banter which is a refreshing change these days!! Did I mention the food was lovely !!?? Oh yeah i did!!! Also if you order over £30 you are given a choice of a free bottle of wine too!! Another plus point and yet again, another gold star. So the reason for my review title is simple, we tend to like to move about to try different pubs but with this place you will without doubt be back again fairly soon!! If the owners/chef remain the same and they food remains at the high standard it was when we visited then they will have a very hard decision to make soon and that's where to put the extension!!! A lovely local pub that has been renivated to a very high standard. Its really nice and welcoming for all. Staff as well as the owners are so polite and cant do enough to make you feel welcome. The food is to die for, all so fresh and tastes wonderful. Well worth a visit.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! I love my Desi pubs in West Bromwich and I must say this is up there with the best of them. Recently opened and refurbished they have done a great job. Friendly staff and locals makes this place a must visit for anyone. We ordered a couple of drinks from the bar and went into the back room for our food. We ordered (again from the bar ), the large mixed grill, 2 plain naan bread and a portion of chips between us and they said there'd be a 15 minute wait as everything is cooked fresh. While we were waiting the friendly waitress/bar maid brought us some free popadoms over with 3 lovely sauces/onion chutney , which were all nice and fresh and tasty. Then the massive mixed grill came out on a sizzler with fried onions on the bottom. The mixed grill consisted of chicken tikka pieces, sheekh kebab,Peri peri chicken wings , Thai lamb chops and fish pakora, which came out separate with the salad. Everything was cooked beautifully with just enough spice. The chips and naan bread were nice but the mixed grill stole the show. We will definitely be going again.

Excellent chicken Bhuna, very tasty with plenty of tender chicken and very little oil, the naan bread and rice were also spot on and you also get free poppadoms and 3 lovely dips. Would like to have seen a bit more choice for the curries like a fish, prawn or mixed curry as the menu only contains chicken, lamb or veg. The interior of the pub has been done out in a modern look and looks quite trendy, will have to return to try the mixed grills which we did not try but looked good.
