It’s sooo good!! Deffo gonna come back again

I went here a few months ago and forgot to leave a review. It’s authentic Chinese style and it’s brilliant. The staff are also very friendly. You can choose to have hot pot or bbq 服务很好！

We ordered a takeaway but wasn't very impressed. The egg fried rice was more like boiled fried rice and stodgy. The salt and pepper ribs had hardly any meat. Chips were frozen chips not chippy chips. Beef chew mein was not to bad and the curry was like water. Unfortunately we will not return.

Authentic China North East cuisine. BBQ and Hotpot buffets are also available.

Amazing outdoor barbecue!!! Great atmosphere in summer

People queue up for the 12:00 opening to get a table and for takeaway.They specialise in Roast meats. Duck so tender and juicy, roast belly pork with crispy skin and char Sui delicious! We order the 3meat special and a portion of Chinese spinach with boiled rice. The amazing staff are super efficient you would be waiting forever in a normal restaurant for drinks ect but here Food comes out piping hot and quick! The place hasn’t got much of an atmosphere to be honest it’s mainly a quick lunch and we would like the table please feel but they never rush you. I recommend drinking Chinese tea during the meal it helps with the effects of feeling thirsty after. Good portion sizes.

Not fancy, pretty basic restaurant. Food tasted authentic though, but I don't think you get the atmosphere you pay for. We were offered paper cups and they didn't bother to present the soft drinks in glass cups, they just served it in a can and you paid much more than the price of a can drink.

They missed something from the order every single time

Been there with my family, 2 adults, a 10 year old and a 6 year old. The staff are super nice and friendly, the food is great. The only problem is the price - it's not going to be cheap if you want the best stuff. We went for BBQ buffet, 25 each adult, 20 for my 10 year old and 15 for my 6y. TBH the price for kids are quite expensive IMO - how much can they eat, after all??? But the price only include some meat and seafood, typically those thin sliced beef, pork belly, ox tongues, chicken hearts, prawns... everything else comes at extra prices, especially those 'typical' Chinese BBQs. Even the sauces were charged extra, and a 2 litre coke was £9. We spent 120 in the end, about 30 per person. The flavour of the food is very good, but I don't think we'd come back because the price is too high for a BBQ.

Second time going tonight. We had the barbecue it was a unique experience as I’ve never done anything like this before. Fresh meats and fish, Egg fried rice and drinks were all really good.

Not your average European-ised Chinese restaurant! You really need to go with a Chinese speaker. You could just about manage in English but communication with the staff and understanding the menu are not easy. The food is plentiful and excellent particularly the do-it-yourself Chinese barbecue and the price is reasonable. The location is strange to say the least. It is within Smithfield Market so not your average high street. And you can sit in the backyard to eat and BBQ. But the backyard reminded me very much of food outlets in Hong Kong, apart from Manchester weather. There are benches and wooden tables - and bare patches of ground, weeds, a few flagstones and a view of the parked lorries in the Market. Well worth a visit but leave normal expectations behind at the main gate into the Market.

Been there twice times the food is amazing, good quality. I've tried both hotspot and BBQ, very authentic, highly recommend. The price of drinks are quite experience is the only reason I didn't give 5 stars.

This restaurant nearest a seafood market with outside carpark around 10 space. We have a Chinese BBQ set, the heat source is charcoal not electric one which is good. The meats already tasted with special sauce or you may choose original or raw one for your little one. Food are tasty and valuable. We have a good meal here.

Quirky. Not your usual restaurant setting but worth a try. Korean style BBQ on real hot coals.

Watch out for overpricing on the final bill . Eg £ 3.00 FOR A CAN OF COKE Also Prawn cracked £2.00 per person for 5.crackers. CHARGING 10 PERCENT SERVICE CHARGE ON EVERY BILL NOT JUST ONE SERVICE CHARGE PER TABLE AT 10%

Great place for BBQ or steamboat! Charcoal grills and steamboat are difficult to come by these days… so this is a gem. Will definitely come again

We had hotpot buffet with some skewers, the hotpot here is the most traditional hotpot from Beijing. They also have the best sugared garlic, something you must to have with the traditional hotpot! Good service, they are really busy since afternoon but the staff is always helpful. £102 for 2 people which is bit pricey, the location is not public transport friendly so better to drive, they have free parking so not too bad.

Good barbecue, but seafood quality needs to be improved.

Stomachache after having it…. I think if you have a sensitive stomach, don’t eat there🤦🏻 honestly the hygiene is not bad, but there are many place they can improve. The price of barbecue is 25 pound per adult, looks fair enough, but there are not many choice on the menu, less than 15 choices (approximately). You need to pay extra if you want more choice such as oyster, Yang zhou fried rice, drinks etc. So, half of the menu is included in 25 pound but the rest of it u need to pay if u want to eat. I wouldn’t recommend to eat there but if you are willing to pay more, then it’s totally fine as you can have plenty of choice of food

We had the buffet hotpot. Absolutely perfect way to warm your appetite with an old fashioned coal hotpot, generously cut lamb and beef slices cooked in szechuan spicy broth or herbal broth with a wide selection of veg, noodles and seaweed. We ate for 3 hours!

I ordered a few vegetarian dishes a couple of weeks ago received meat versions instead. I thought i'd give them the benefit of the doubt and ordered again tonight, i once again received a meat product. Being a vegetarian this is very upsetting and the restaurant/takeaway don't seem to care. All I can say is god help anyone with an allergy as they obviously do not read the orders correctly. I will not be ordering from here again due to them playing Russian Roulette with food.

Two and a half hour and 2 phone calls later the food finally arrived .. not impressed and highly disappointed

Looks like this place is better in-person rather than a delivery order. Really horrid delivery service unfortunately. Ordered at 17:52 with expected delivery for 18:52. Called first time at 19:34 for an update and was told to wait another hour after they'd forgot about the order. Ah well, this stuff happens I thought, busy Saturday.. . so by this point I'm 1.5h after ordering, given another 1h. Phoned at 20:24 for a second update, to check they hadn't forgot a second time. This time someone new answered the phone, I asked went to ask for an update and before quoting my postcode for them to check, they tried to hang up on me! As far as this employee was concerned, this is the first time I'd phoned, not that phoning twice is nuisance when they forget to start your order. Genuinely never had such bad service. To add insult the food was just... ok. Portion size was dismal on the platter for the price. One meal of 3 was also tasteless apparently.

Absolutely the worse crispy duck I've had what a waste of money, it was greasy like jelly in parts I had to throw the majority of what little was there in the bin. The pancakes were all split i won't be ordering from there again there's alot nicer places!!

What a very rude delivery driver. We live on the 7th floor with 2 lifts working in a high rise flat just around the corner from this takeaway. My wife is 65 with a bad back, I am 67 with a bad left leg, we don’t ask for help in any way, and we always pay our way. The driver phoned my wife to come down because of covid ( he did get in the lift with someone else not wearing a mask)and collect, my wife said no bring it up and we will meet you at the lift, after 5 minutes he arrived in the lift with a neighbour from another floor, the door opened and I was waiting. He passed the food and said I no longer deliver to this address , I said ok I will phone your company and let them know, which I did. Absolutely disgusting, we have been to this takeaway before with no problems, including there bar b cue. The ribs were lovely shame we won’t be using there services again and all because of a very rude driver.

Good place to have bbq and hotpot. Kind boss and delicious food. Additionally, they have got karaoke on site.

It's very nice but delivery times are so long.

Good tasty Chinese cuisine at fairly reasonable prices, & if you can spend more than £80, you can use the Karaoke room too (although some of the more popular stars / songs were missing from the playlist). The restaurant main entrance & car park is situated just beyond a manned barrier to the New Smithfield Market (but don't just drive through if the barrier is up, or you will get ticked off by a surly security guard !)

Who would refuse a hotpot in the winter. I think they have the best meat quality for hotpot buffet in Manchester!

Went on Wednesday evening and we were the only diners which was surprising as the food and service were top notch, big portions and extremely tasty. The takeaway delivery service seemed to be very busy which was understandable given the quality of the food. Staff friendly and amiable. We had no complaints

Called in for a takeaway last night at 6:30 pm - hadn’t had one for a long time so went with recommendation, and this place is really close to home. *Ribs in syrup sauce really nice. *Salt & pepper ribs not nice. Overcooked and so crispy we were in danger of breaking our teeth! *Special chow mein tasteless *Sweet & sour dish was nice *Egg fried rice OK *Chips awful. Obviously recooked - very dark in colour & greasy Such a shame. Will try somewhere else next time.

Not long moved to Stockport and finally decided to start doing some research into takeaways in the Stockport/Manchester area. Completely hit the jackpot here. Some of the nicest food I have ever eaten in my entire life. The takeaway arrived quite late, by the restaurant was particularly busy and the food was so amazing it was well worth the wait!! Will definitely be ordering from here again and again. Absolutely delicious, portions are huge, so I'll be enjoying it all over again tomorrow night too!! Can't wait!!!🥰🥰

Good food and generous portions, good service and friendly people. The chef's specials are all excellent. Covid precautions were well done with no fuss.

After the entire lockdown of being deprived of a decent Chinese takeaway, we decided to give this one a go! Its safe to say i will never need to look for another Chinese ever again, the food was absolutely delicious! I finished eating around 30 minutes ago and I'm already dreaming of the peking ribs! I'm usually rather fussy but I've not one single complaint about this place, its a little dearer than the usual but Chinese but thats because this one is next level and worth every penny (and we got free prawn crackers) . We went in to order but you can also find them on just eat. I can highly recommend the beef in satay sauce (I've tried lots and this was by far the best). Peking ribs (goodbye waistline....) Salt and pepper chips (nice and crispy, perfect flavour)

A hidden gem. Went there by chance today for a takeaway. Exceptional flavour, not oily and excellent portions. This was a chicken chow mein so big it was in 2 parts. Well worth a visit. They do hotpot as well! You need to drive through the New Smithfield market gates to get in, so parking available too.

This was a little gem of a place we found and so glad we did, it was delicious food, good portions, all wonderfully fresh and piping hot, the service was also excellent from Coco our lovely waitress, we will definitely return again.

这里的自助铜锅炭火火锅很好吃～价格25一人比外面其他店略贵，但是羊肉特别特别嫩！老板应该是沈阳人～开张到现在已经去过四五次了～但上周去的时候老板说以后羊肉点了多的话要预定,搞得一起去的朋友和我太太非常不高兴，觉得自助为什么还有限制～虽然我们也是五个人点了七八盘羊肉了～不过希望老板和工作人员解释和说理由的时候一定要注意方法方式，毕竟很多人也曾经是餐饮服务人员很多理由大家一听就懂了😌 除此以外还是很推荐去尝试的 服务也不错 服务员小姐姐小哥哥都很热情
