Four Seasons Chinese Take Away in Broxtowe

Terrible experience on the telephone when I pointed out they had multiple menus up on the internet and I wanted my dish at a price stated on one particular menu.

I've been conducting a part time study into the Chinese takeaways of Sandiacre, Stapleford and Long Eaton since the early 80s. Four Seasons is our current favourite. Polite service, prompt collection and quality fresh tasty food. I hope to continue my research for another forty years before publishing my findings. Update: Six months later and this is still our favourite takeaway! Another update: still great

Recently started ordering from here looking for a local Chinese and it’s amazing. The food is always piping hot and on time. The staff are lovely and the delivery driver is fantastic. Highly recommend

Been going to this Chinese for years. Had a meal last night which was awful. Ordered black pepper beef and chicken curry both which I love but unfortunately the quality last night was awful. The chicken was poor quality and the sauces to the dishes was taste less. Not sure what had gone wrong but unfortunately won't be going again any time soon.

First time trying this place and thank goodness we did! Cannot fault anything, arrived on time, food piping hot, everything was fresh, driver was polite and lady who took order was lovely and helpful. Def number 1 go to now for a take out.

Nice Chinese tasted fresh good service very well spoken English from waitress. Food great. Be nice if had some tables out side to eat.

I wish we was more hungry for the occasion because the food here feels so fresh and made on the spot it’s perfect. The curry sauce is definitely one of the best I’ve had in a while and the egg fried rice definitely looks freshly made as I know you can definitely tell when the rice is dirty but this definitely isn’t. Would recommend for sure !

I love Four seasons, it’s an authentic Chinese takeaway and it has wicked tasting food especially the beef chow mien. My girlfriend’s new favourite takeaway when she comes to see me. Keep up the good work!

I've grew up eating only four seasons take away but the past 3 or 4 chinese we've had has been nothing like they used to be all the foods been very bland lately not much flavour to it at all Especially the chicken balls and mushroom chow main

The best King Prawn curry I have ever had. Everything is cooked to perfection and boiling hot when delivered, I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Had a meal from there Saturday was not impressed but for many years been excellent food but not on Saturday very poor they might have changed chef's but gone down hill not many ingredients on the plate cost cutting not gokd

I enjoyed my food but this regularly ordered meal has changed ingredients. The gravy is now watery instead of thick. And the chips have been changed. Now pale and soggy.

Made order last night, ate a pancake roll and within a hour was so ill!

On time, nice and hot, freshly made and nice food, will try more from here.

I enjoyed it but it wasn't quite there , I know because I've been going 45 plus years , AND ILL BE BACK

Food was really bad . The chicken chow main was so greasy the rice was dry and so was the chips. I honestly couldn't eat it we ended up putting it in the bin . Really wasn't nice .

Have been going here for decades. Food is exceptional. Never had a bad meal. Used to go when it was a dine in restaurant and actually got engaged here. Staff are friendly and go above and beyond. Won't order from any other Chinese. Cannot recommend more.

Great Food always been spot on. Never a problem until recently. Nobody answers the phone. Ive given up trying.Ive been informed that they are closed.

Always liked the food but I've been waiting for some to pick up the the phone now for 40 minutes.

Fabulous food great prices.ordered big variety of dishes for family party last night & everything was delicious, even given complimentary 2 large bottles coke, prawn crackers & fortune cookies! Brilliant service.Have used for over 15yrs now & never had a bad meal. Definitely recommended. Thankyou.

Currently ordered two hours ago..was told 30 minutes delivery time and still no sign of our food, Long shift at work and waiting to go to sleep so had to drive out for food else where. Unsure when to be expecting this delivery now and have them knocking late at night

Nice food, quick delivery, good prices. Ordered 50+ times, always good.

I had the garlic chicken,prawn and pork dish. The sauce was so thick and slimy. The pork was tough. The prawn crackers tasted a bit stale. Definitely will not order again. Sorry

Been to four seasons every time for two years or more always been great food however orderd last night food was so salty and lifeless geasy. Couldn't eat and made me feel ill! Orderd 5 o'clock arrived in about 16 mins sure it was just warmed up from the night before! Time to move on now

Food is good the issue i had was a long wait for food then to be asked to come down to the shop to collect or wait a 3rd hour for my meal

Can’t believe I haven’t reviewed the Four Seasons before. My family and I have been coming to this takeaway for 25 years (it was a restaurant when we were first taken there). Always good quality ingredients and lovely food. It is further for us to travel, but well worth the extra effort.
