Four Seasons in Blackpool

I reviewed this restaurant back in 2015, when I said the food was inedible, so we never went back, however, after being in the Far East for 18 months, on our return asked a friend /taxi driver if he could recommend a good Chinese take away, he said Four Seasons, after discussing it with my wife and on our good friends advice decided to give it another try, WOW it was brilliant the food was hot, tasty and very good. I can really recommend this Chinese take away and we will definitely be ordering from there again. Thanks for the great good Four Seasons

Coming to Blackpool we tried again Four Seasons as we are fond of Chinese food. A very agreeable surprise! Excellent Cantonese food, quick and pleasant service. A lot of people pop in for the take away service. We have already tasted dim sum, soups, sour sweet king prawn, beef with mushrooms, etc. All excellent! This time dim sum and beef with mushrooms again! This is a cash pay facility, not very recommendable during COVID-19 pandemic.

Lived in this area all my life. Never noticed the four seasons. And if I did would have thought that it was a taake away. It might not be the poshest restraunt. But as far as Chinese go it's the best. Food A1 fresh and delicious. Service excellent. Clean. Have taken my family on numerous occasions. And they agreed. And they are in their thirties. And for them to agree with me is pretty spectacular 😂

If I could leave a 0 star review I would. It was by far the WORST takeaway I have ever eaten. Chicken and sweet corn soup had what looked like snot in it, food was cold, hardly any flavour and very expensive what it is. I wouldn’t ever eat here again.

my boyfriend introduced me to this place a few months ago, only ever had take away from here and always for the box for 2 and can honestly say it's one if the best Chinese takeaways around. I can't get enough of the salt and pepper chips, the noodles are very tasty and the chicken in the box is delicious. Once everything is back to normal and we are no longer on lock down we'll be visiting for a sit down meal.

Went there with my wife and two daughters 5/3/20 had heard it was good but such a let down ,all the meals were tasteless and the chicken in my soup was chewy Will not be going back nor will not order takeaways

Not being local to he area we used Tripadviser to see which Chinese takeaway was getting the best reviews which a couple of miles radius from where we were staying. We were not disappointed. the food was well cooked with plenty of meat in it. Service was friendly and the wait wasn't too long we would definitely use again

Visited on a Monday night. We had the two course dinner menu which provided plenty of choice plus an option to add crispy duck. All the dishes we had were delicious and the house wine was good too. We finished with Irish coffees which were perfectly made! Service was efficient, friendly and unobtrusive. Excellent value too!

The lady serving us was so attentive to my wife and I, and our 2year old. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious. It came out fresh and well presented. This isn't local to us - we are 3.5hrs away in Bedfordshire, but we overheard several other people saying how it's always great and they have come back many times. Having not been to a Chinese restaurant in Blackpool before, I can't say how it compares to others locally, but having eaten in many others including several in London's renowned Chinatown district, I would say this is definitely top-5 of any I've ever been to anywhere on freshness and flavour. When you add in the fantastic value and service which is often lacking elsewhere, this is one of the best places to eat full-stop. Highly recommended. If we are ever back in Blackpool we will certainly be back again (and again!).

We ordered a takeaway, it was all very bland!! I had a prawn schezuan, no heat at all! Prawns were good but just a bland dish. Chips were soggy and mushy and my partners shredded beef was chewy and in a horrible gloopy sauce. The rice was overcooked too. The prices are cheap but doesn't compensate for a poor meal, I would rather have paid more and received better quality food with flavour.

only 2nd time iv ordered from here, 1st order last month was pretty ok, so was just curious to see if had maintained favourable impression from last time....,but it hadnt....... food quality and taste had increased substantially, very good indeed!! extremely fast delivery, and very friendly staff, both taking order at shop, and sweet delivery lady - think i may be returning much sooner next time - spot on, guys, cheers!

Beautiful food...we have had a few chinese meals in blackpool and this was one of the best...It wasnt bulked out with vegetables and really nice..

I have just had a takeaway delivered and I can honestly say , it’s the worst Chinese I’ve ever had.

We are well past having house parties on NYE. Just a quiet night in a local restaurant suits us. Within walking distance. This year's choice was Chinese. What a fantastic. choice that was!!! 15 minutes walk on a very mild night weather wise. Booking at 6.30. Table for 10. It was full when we arrived apart from our table which was waiting for us, the long one at the bottom of the room. Originally booked for 8 but they very kindly squeezed in another 2. When we had all arrived they came to take drinks order. And from that point the drinks were flowing. Food order taken. We could order from a special party menu, options a (£13.80) or b (£15.80) both delightful, or from the a La carte. Vast amount of choice. It was very busy but the food arrived piping hot and delicious as always. Mixed starters, duck and pancakes and a variety of mains, fried rice, noodles and a constant supply of prawn crackers. The staff were very busy, and every credit to them they never once got stressed and all had lovely big smiles for our party. They were an absolute delight. We enjoyed our evening immensely. So much so we will be booking for next year. We could not have enjoyed it more. It was very reasonable too price wise.

Can't fault this place whatsoever, to eat in or take away. The food is outstanding and freshly cooked every time. therefore understandably served approx after 15 mins of ordering, with crispy prawn crackers and a dip brought immediately to the table if dining in. The staff are extremely friendly and courteous throughout. Will return again and again. Great value / very reasonably priced. Highly recommended

Ordered a shredded sweet and sour chickem- went to pay by card and was abruptly snapped at - cash only!! Abrupt and sharp service by this lady staff member.. So I paid by cash- only one customer in but not very quick service.

Ordered food it came within 40 minutes like told ordered a couple of things but one of the things I ordered was bbq sauce got sweet and sour so I had it but it was awful no taste and really watery, the chips some of them was hard and the chicken well there was more batter than chicken order from these a lot and never had a problem, disappointed in the food this time

we found this online and from the moment we phned up to book to arriving the staff were excellent and food was really good and god value for money

Ordered takeaway for 6 people at 5pm, food was ready 15mins later. King do ribs the star, lots of meat, not too garlicky sauce. Beef curry an odd greenish tint, tasty but not spicy at all. Salt and pepper wings poorest item. Was just deep fried wings, didnt taste fresh and were chewy. Tasted like theyd been refried a few times. salt and pepper coating wasnt there, but heaps of fried spring onions filled the tray so all you could taste was onion. Sweet & sour chicken balls very nice, plenty of sauce. Chips were lovely. Fried rice not greasy at all, a really nice flavour and not sticky or stodgy. Prawn crackers are prawn crackers! Would go again, definately for the ribs alone!

Staff are very friendly and could not do enough for you. Food was excellent and we had a great time at the four seasons. We will be back again soon.

Friday night Christmas family meal for 6 - couldn’t fault it.

after a bust up with the owners regarding delivery we managed to sort it out and they now agree to deliver to my area. So glad we kissed and made up as four season is by far the best Chinese in Blackpool and surrounding areas. You must give it a try. We have now tried several dishes and have all been delicious. So glad to have found it

Me & my partner come here ALOT .. such good value & amazing food .. staff always helpful & will do dishes that arnt on the menu if you ask .. we wanted the Mami sauce from the ribs on a chicken dish for our main & this was no problem & probably the best Chinese main course Iv ever had !! Sooooooo good

Booked this quirky little restaurant off trip advisor, does not look like a restaurant from outside, but once you get in you are warmly welcomed by two lovely ladies, only a small restaurant but worth its weight in gold, food was delightful freshly cooked and very original, my husband was even learnt how to use chop sticks!! Great prices, and great place to eat, would definitely recommend the four season's

Just had a lovely meal at the best Chinese restaurant in Blackpool. We had starters of sui mai and grilled chicken dumplings that are divine. Then shrimp foo yung and Singapore fried rice with a fried egg on top. Absolutely delicious.This is out local restaurant and we feel we are so lucky it is here. Owners are really friendly and happy to cook things to your preference. Good food, good prices and friendly welcome. What's not to like! Enjoy!

Very hit and miss this place. Recently had sweet and sour chicken with Singapore fried rice and it was awful. Other times it's been great...Not sure when we'll be returning

This restaurant is a "must visit" whenever we are in the Blackpool area. The food is absolutely delicious and the welcome all customers receive is second to none. All the dishes are authentic Chinese and fabulous. If we lived in Blackpool this would definitely be our chosen place to eat........ But if we did not fancy going out then we would ring them ... Because they do incredible Take Away too !

We went with friends food was great and the owners and staff and beautiful people who can't do enough for you, food is the best I think in Blackpool and very natural no added chemicals. We also eat from the take away menu every week and it's amazing.

I recently tried this Chinese for a takeaway treat having had many recommendations. I was not disappointed. We ordered a good selection of dishes including duck, rice dishes, chicken wings, spring rolls and seaweed. All the dishes were beautifully cooked, very tasty, and didn't come with that heavy greasy taste you often get from a takeaway. The seaweed in particular was the best I have ever tasted. I shall definitely now be making this my go-to choice when ordering Chinese in the future. My only disappointment is that the menu isn't available online - as it is I live round the corner so was able to take a photo of the menu in the window, but having it online would have been so much easier.

Me and my wife visited this Chinese on Sunday 06/11/2016 for a meal. The food is amazing, really good value and the staff are really friendly. We had a lovely time and will definitely return when we visit Blackpool again.

Ate here with family and the food is excellent. All really fresh, and they don't use MSG like most Chinese restaurants. The mami spare ribs are the best Chinese ribs I've ever tasted. Every dish we had was excellent, especially the crispy beef and the King prawns. Will definitely be back.

We had the banquet set menu 2 which was lovely. The lady in charge was happy for us to change some of the dishes and nothing was a problem. All the food was fresh and very tasty. We will definitely be going again soon.

We absolutely love visiting here whenever we are in Blackpool. This really is authentic Chinese cooking at its best. The food is delicious and cooked to perfection and the owners, Wayne and Theresa are the friendliest hosts imaginable and are always happy to assist you when choosing from the menu.I just wish Liverpool was closer to Blackpool because we would be there every week - the food is THAT good....

A date night for us both, didn't order from the special set menu tonight, ordered from the normal menu. A great change, we ordered foo Young and sizzling seafood, flavours were mouth watering. I cannot recommend this restaurant and take away enough.

We have been looking for a decent local chinese takeaway for a while now, but all the ones we tried weren't too good. After looking on trip advisor we decided to give this one a go. On arrival they were friendly and noted it was our first time (regulars were calling through whilst we waited as it was a busy saturday night). We ordered sweet and sour chicken hong kong style, chicken in black bean and some boiled and fried rice. My husband found the fried rice a little too stodgy and therefore not as light as he expected. However the mains were lovely and tasty. We will just order boiled rice next time ! I think we will become regulars here - also they don't use MSG when cooking which is a bonus and you could taste the difference. Recommended !

We discovered Four Season thanks to Trip Advisor last night, I had friend round we fancied a Chinese takeaway, I always struggle for a good Chinese in my area as Wok Wow is the nearest and it's not the best. But thanks goodness we've found Four seasons from now on. We had a selection of dishes - crispy shredded beef, beef with green peppers in black bean sauce, chicken curry, salt & chilli chips, noddles and egg friend rice. It arrived piping hot and the delivery gentle man was extremely friendly and pleasant. We all enjoyed each dish, even my friend who doesn't usually like black bean love it. I/we will be definitely ordering again form Four Seasons :-)

We've been visiting this lovely Chinese for a few months for a Chinese meal. Fantastic value for money & the food is just mouth watering. A great friendly family team & are always made to feel welcome. A hidden gem that deserves a lot of recognition.

Decided to try a takeaway from four seasons after a few different friends recommended. The food was really good. I couldn't find fault with any of it. We has the shredded beef, Cantonese chicken, ribs, spring rolls and it was all delicious. I will be ordering from here now all the time. Delivery was quick and came in about half an hour and was pipping hot. Defo recommend to anyone wanting an amazing Chinese cos there isn't many in Blackpool

We discovered the Four Seasons some years ago and I commented at the time that it was far better than anything we have in our own very large and wonderful Chinatown in Liverpool. I would be so bold as to say it is the best in the North West, if not in the rest of the country as I have dined in many restaurants up and down the country.After a break of far too long, we were in Blackpool again at the weekend and returned to the Four Seasons. We were welcomed like long lost friends by the owners, Theresa and Wayne, who remember all their customers and treat them the same way.The food here is simply outstanding and it is not surprising that a major article had just been published in the Blackpool Gazette highlighting the delicious and authentic dishes served here. It really is simply the best Chinese Food you will ever experience.Our party of 4 had the Hot and Sour Soup as Starter followed by sensational Dim Sum including Sui Mai. The soup is a meal in itself, packed with meat and vegetables.Four our Main Course we selected and shared Kung Po Chicken, Beef Curry and Szechuan Prawns with Boiled Rice and Noodles. I am still salivating 24 hours later thinking about it. Fantastic food and far too much to finish.If I lived in the Blackpool area I would dine here every time I wished to eat Chinese Food, and if I was staying home then I would order a Take Away from here as they also do Home Deliveries.The Best Chinese Food you will ever taste....

We are regular visitors to the four seasons restaurant. We're always treated like a member of the family. The food is second to non, the service is brilliant. I would recommend it to anyone.

I've just experienced the best meal ever, picked this resturant from previous reviews and I can honestly say it was fabulous. We picked the 2 course offer plus added a few extras, far too much food so took some home for tomorrow. You must visit this resturant if your in the area will definitely return next time.

Welcomed by a lovely women, seated in the corner as she commented that it was nice and warm (thank you, when working away it really is the little things that matter) prompt on taking drink orders & handing out the menus. Complimentary prawn crackers with a tasty little sauce to accompany them.The only thing I'm devastated about it that I live in Chester and the fact that I can not eat from here on a weekly basis!! The beef and mushroom was hands down the tastiest I've ever had the pleasure of eating!! I was so full but really could not leave any, the portions are of a decent size & I'm still full now 4 1/2 hours on. The prawn toast to start was also delicious. The place had a really nice feel to it, when working in the area again... i'll defiantly be back! Thank you

This eestaurant and take away was recommended to me by a beauty salon. I have been coming here for the last 3 years. They dont use MSG in their food and it makes a huge difference. The food is beautiful. We have never had to complain. The service and staff are very friendly. Ive tried other takeaways in blackpool and will never use any other than here. We have used take away and restaurant and have never been disappointed. Try the crispy chilli beef, salt and pepper chicken wings, satay, plus many more... (hungry now)

My partner and I are regular customers, the staff are always lovely and the food is delicious. We have never had a bad experience here. There is also plenty of options for vegetarians. I can honestly say it is my favourite takeaway.

First time I have tried this takeaway and I was swayed by the reviews on here. I honestly do not know how the reviews can be so good based on what I have just put on my plate. I ordered a number of very different dishes so tasted a varied sample of the menu. Ribs and prawn crackers were ok the rest is in the bin. Greasy and odd tasting. Portion sizes were excellent but that's no good if it's inedible. To top it all not overly cheap.

We had a take away from this place on New Years day and all I can say is it was awful. We ordered salt and chilli ribs only to get home and there be a soggy mush of salt and chilli chips. My mother was ill after eating her beef curry and my crispy beef wasn't much better. It's put us off Chinese takeaways for the rest of this year

A gem of a place based on the fringe of Blackpool. The food is of excellent quality and they have a service to match. Special dietary requirement can be catered for prior to ordering.

It must be the best Chinese around. After moving away we have moved back and realised what we have missed. Excellent food, the best service and we will be regulars again. 10/10 !!

This is the place to order a Chinese if you want the best! I can't fault the food and the staff are always very friendly and welcoming. My boyfriend and I have sat in to eat our meals too and it was lovely. Toilets are clean too - bonus!

I have been meaning to write this review for some time. We discovered this Chinese Restaurant/Takeaway via Trip Advisor when we wanted to try somewhere new. We are so glad we did. We have eaten in and had takeaway from here. The food is delicious. We have tried quite a few things from the menu and never been disappointed. It has definitely become a firm favourite! The decor is a little dated but the food more than makes up for this.

Best Chinese in Blackpool by far. My parents and I have been hunting for a decent local Chinese restaurant in Blackpool and recently decided to dine in after having a good takeaway experience. The restaurant definitely did not disappoint. Whilst the restaurant itself was very quiet, the takeaway was extremely busy, proving it must be very popular locally. We were well looked after and immediately provided with prawn crackers upon being seated, whilst we perused the extensive menu. All the favourites were there as well as some more unusual dishes.We opted for prawn toast and chicken wings to share to start with. The prawn toast were light and tasty and not at all greasy like you unfortunately tend to find. The chicken wings with salt and pepper were incredibly moreish and very well seasoned, the right combination of savoury and spice for our palates. We stuck to individual mains rather than sharing, 2 of us going for the same: King Prawn in Black Pepper and the other for Beef and Mushroom. Both dishes had vey well balanced flavours. The beef and mushrooms were nicely stir fried with absolutely no 'squeaky' or 'sliminess' you can often find with Chinese cooking. The prawns were perfectly cooked and the sauce added a hot peppery kick, without overpowering. Both dishes had a good slection of vegetable accompaniments that which favoured on the side of the protein but added a nice extra dimension to the overall dish. The sides; egg fried rice, soft noodles with bean-sprouts and garlic pak choi were all very good. Light fluffy rice, flavourful noodles and delicious pak choi with a nice bite. Overall I would not hesitate to recommend this Chinese and would certainly suggest you give this little hidden gem a try if you are visiting Blackpool and have a hankering for some tasty Chinese! Forget heading to town and grab a taxi here instead - it's most definitely worth it!

Four of us had wonderful dishes which were large and easy share. Starters were Grilled Dumplings, Suomi, Prawn Toast. Mains Sizzling Prawn Plate, Indonesian Mixed Curry and Sambal Chicken. Followed by Banana Fritters with Ice Cream. All this was washed down with several bottles of a very nice white wine. The front of house staff were wonderfully attentive, And the food from the kitchen was extremely tasty full of flavour and served hot to the table.All at a reasonable price. Well done to Teresa , Wayne, Joyce, Mouse and the team

We have experienced many takeaway restaurants in Blackpool but this one is the best. Four Seasons is consistently great food, free delivery and friendly staff. You can also eat in if you wish. As regulars we are now known by name and our favourite dishes! Friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended.

Had our first takeaway last night and have to say we will be back. Chicken curry and nazigouring along with BBC spare ribs was v nice. 14 quid. Super smashing great

Following a recommendation we ordered a takeaway from Four Seasons for delivery - which is free. Ordered a variety of meals curries, shredded beef, sesame prawn on toast etc. The food was lovely and would definitely recommend to anyone especially those who don't like MSG as four seasons don't cook using this. We will be back!

Have used this restaurant for takeaway for the last year, the food is normally very good and speedy delivery. This week had crispy beef which was NOT edible not only was the taste wrong but the texture so tough it was impossible to eat. Called the restaurant to complain and they offered £5 of next order, the least that should have been offered was to send a replacement meal..Will never use 4 Seasons Takeaway again.

As for the previous poor review on this takeaways curries, I totally disagree, I have tonight been for the first time and found the traditional Chinese curry (house special) as we brits know it to be very very tasty, I must add that this takeaway does NOT use msg which we all know isn't good and for that reason alone it gets a high five from me, I would definitely go back, I polished the lot off!!

Found the curries very bland , needs more flavour, rang to complain , about the fried rice as well, spent £25 , wouldn't recommend it, could make a better curry myself , all I got was excuses

Had a takeaway from here last week and it was okay. I guess there could be more flavour in some of the food in my opinion.I had beef blackbean with egg fried rice and chicken food young.My friends had the duck and chicken balls with rice.

Here for a night in blackpool for our wedding anniversary and came here to eat...by far the nicest chinese food weve ever had, staff lovely ans nice relaxed atmosphere, if ever in blackpool again we will return...you ahould open up one in liverpool

For a good couple of years now, I have been a regular to this fantastic takeaway/Restaurant, and can say with with all honesty, that along with the excepionally friendly service, the food has always been absolutely tip top.My partner and I are vegetarian, and we have a good number of different dishes to choose from here, I personally recommend the Beancurd in Blackbean, but my partner swears by the salt n pepper.We use the takeaway once or twice a week, but the restaurant is well worth a vist and a friendly, relaxed evening with great food at a very reasonable price is all but guaranteed.I have tried a good number of Chinese takeaways and Resaurants over the years, and in my opinion, this is the very best of them.

After reading the reviews on trip advisor I could not believe what we had delivered, the meal was rubbish and we through it in the bin,The food was so greasy, the starter a sharing platter was inedible.The reviews just did not add up to what we had.

First time visit and the best Chinese Ive had in a long time - lovely food and the staff were so nice - definitely will go back

We ordered from here after reading a good review. To be honest ordered from our usual and waited over an hour for delivery, so cancelled and ordered from here. So glad we did. Our food arrived on time stated on ordering. Our food was lovely and tasty, hot and decent portions. Free prawn crackers were tasty and fresh. Delivery driver very friendly. We will definitely be booking to eat in the restaurant. Thank you to all, especially the chef.

This has to be the best around.Normally I can take it or leave it with Chinese ,not much difference between them.However Four Seasons is a cut above.The ingredients are fresh & tasty.The chicken actually tastes like chicken!They don't use MSG like most others so you can sleep ok instead of being awake all night.Also the service is friendly .

I was introduced to this restaurant by my mum who was a regular (she says this place is the only thing she misses about living in blackpool). We have had a number of special occasions since with large groups. Teresa the owner is such an amazing host, she goes above and beyond..we even had some beautiful roses and decorations around our table for our engagement meal which was so sweet. The food is the best, no MSG, so none of that uncomfortable bloated feeling you usually get from Chinese restaurants. Everything is so fresh and tasty, there is never anything left on the plate. Everyone we have brought here ends up coming back as they agree its the best Chinese food in the area and the service is top notch. Its a shame they don't have more advertising because not many people know about it, but word of mouth counts for a lot and besides I don't want it to be too busy so we cant get in! Also if you want a cake for any special occasion Teresa makes lovely gateauxs! I've tried the kiwi and strawberry and both were delish.

We have regularly dined in at the restaurant and occasionally enjoyed a take away. We have never found fault with the service, food or environment. By far the best in the local area and beyond. Always be extremely accomodating for larger parties, patient and kind to members of our party who are less able and who have smaller appetites. Great menu and drinks range and very reasonable prices. We will e back again and again!

We order take-aways from here regularly and have never been disappointed with a meal. We have tried a variety of starters and mains and have always enjoyed it. Another big plus is that they don't use MSGs in their food, which is important to me. It's good value for money and I hate it when they're closed and I have to find somewhere else! Keep meaning to try the restaurant, which has good deals and offers. Highly recommended!

Great local take away! Salt and chilli prawns are highly recommended! Service is friendly and food arrived really quickly
