Indian Orchard Restaurant & Takeaway in Blackpool

After years of trying various Indian restaurants and takeaways, finally found perfection great food, great customer service, will be using in future when we want perfect place to eat. Our compliments to the chef(s).

Waited over hour and a half for a Korma that had I'm sure no cream in it , replaced with sugar.worst Korma I've ever had , couldn't eat it , what a complete waste of money , cutting back on ingredients just not on

First time trying this restaurant for a takeaway.. meal was absolutely wonderful...and definitely going for sit in meal and will recommend to everyone. Guy behind the counter (owner?)was so friendly and thoughtful ....definitely 10 out of 10 🥰

Went for a daughter’s birthday extremely rude when paying and was clearing when not finished meals. Fought us when trying to order not knowing what we wanted. Shame food was nice won’t be visiting again.

food was mediocre delivery was an hour later than told. not much chicken pieces in the curry. chips were undercooked. don't thunk I'd be back to order again. really disappointed and don't recommend it to anyone.

Went here last night as a last minute decision, well we shouldn't of bothered, the waiter was sooo rude even though there was only 2 people in at the time, says it all really 7.30p.m on a Sunday evening. Chips and rice were stone cold , really not an enjoyable evening after spending our hard earned money there!!

Ordered from this takeaway by mistake, but can honestly say best mistake I’ve made, it arrived at the time stated, it was piping hot and the food was delicious, will definitely order from them again

The food was not nice very poor not one that I will order food from again

Partner loved his bhuna masala and the salt and chilli chips amazing but the naan and my chicken madras not great chicken chewy and flavourless also the starters yes the prawns were cooked ok but no flavour decent but not great 👍🏻

Food arrived 2 hours after the order was placed. After 1 hour and 45 minutes, I phoned the take away and they then actioned the delivery.

I haven't been to the Indian Orchard for a couple of years so decided to go with my brother on a Friday night. There wasn't many diner's so the atmosphere felt a bit flat and to my surprise they don't serve alcoholic drinks anymore but we were told that you can bring your own, but beware they will charge you £3.00 each for the privilege. The food is still excellent albeit a bit pricey but I won't be going back again I would rather go somewhere where you can order a pint of lager and stick it on the bill rather than being charged for bringing your own so they have shot themselves in the foot.

Best Indian food in Blackpool. Absolutely no contest.

When we put the order in on Just Eat, we was told 8 o’clock. Once you had got our money. The time changed to 835 to 855 I would not of placed the order if it was going to be this long as I had got to go to work at 9 o’clock, so I phoned Indian Orchard to be greeted by a very rude member of staff

Cold chips , small portions of starters & pakoras overcooked. Very doubtful I will use again

Unreal food , the lamb in the Sri Lankan fell apart ! Came on time , hot and cooked perfectly!

Food and service excellent, lovely meal

Placed my order at 5.45pm for delivery at 7.30pm after 2 phone calls arrived at 8.10pm. Wife's curry was nice my kebab was swimming in grease or they may say ghee either way it went in the bin. Would I order again probably but only curries and only collection even then I would be apprehensive that it would be ready on time.

This place has so many great different meals on the menu, I never usually rate my orders on just eat but I made a exception for this meal, one of the best Indian takeaway I have ever had

Fantastic food bombay spuds are excellent

Amazing food as always. We had the butter paneer, paneer Mr Naga, paneer Makhani and king prawn pathia alongside a pickle tray and side dishes. The food was incredible! We had family up from Leicester and we all say the same thing, the food at the Indian orchard is better than Leicester, which is incredible as Leicester is the home of Indian restaurants, with hundreds of curry houses to choose from! Thank you Indian Orchard, you impressed our Leicester family yet again! 😃

2 hours and 5 mins for delivery, disgusting was no point in ordering dinner when it comes that late

Outstanding food ,one of the best indians I've had.

Everything was too spicy tonight, inedibly so. I had a chicken biryani which I've had many times before and my mouth was on fire, it has never been like that before from here or other places. Sadly didn't enjoy tonight's food.

The food was lovely but one of the dishes was not as it should be. We ordered an Indian orchard masala but there was hardly any meat in it. It was mostly sauce and the meat that was in it was mostly in small bits instead of the normal sized chunks of chicken. We also ordered a chicken passanda which was perfect and full of big chunks of chicken. The Indian orchard masala was very disappointing and not up to its usual standard bring sadly depleted of meat/chicken.

Have eaten in the restaurant many times. No complaints at all. Takeaway, however, is neglected and has been on the slide for the last 6 months. Chicken biryani and chicken tikka masala, naan and onion bhaji. Chicken very dry and chewy in both dishes. Naan undercooked and soggy. Bhajis very greasy. 32 quid and very disappointed. Won't be getting takeaway from Indian orchard again. There are much better options nearby. Shame.

If you are planning for dinner this place is Amazing no doubt you will get delicious food....

Food was lovely and hot, delivered on time. Lovely flavour and gorgeously made naans, great portions, enough to last for a lunch tomorrow.

Definitely a great service, better than McDonald’s in Cleveleys

Having driven past this place a few times & liked the look of it from outside we were tempted to have a take away when it was recommended. And we were definitely not disappointed. The lamb chop starters were phenomenal. Thick, juicy chops cooked to perfection. I don’t know what other reviewers expect, but our portions were more than we could finish and the flavours were fantastic. The food was ready when we were told it would be and came out hot. We will definitely be coming back for take-away and to try eat-in. If they have a no alcohol policy, it is standard practice to charge corkage. If you don’t want to pay it, wait until later or don’t drink - it’s not rocket science !!!!

The onion bajees were disgusting it was like eating dry straw and the curry was very watery. Will not be ordering again from there.

On arrival the staff were so friendly and accommodating, the decor inside is beautiful and the restaurant was so lovely and clean. The food was unreal, the best Indian we have had in a long time. Anyone complaining about the £3 charge on bringing your own alcohol are ridiculous, this seems very reasonable. If you don’t like it, don’t drink. 10/10 for service and food!

Best food in Blackpool I have ever had. Excellent all items. Specially Lamb chop, Spicy Naga Dona kebab, spicy chilly chips. Test was fantastic. Highly recommended to try their food pls.

Absolutely shocking. They don't serve acholo in there and then CHARGE you three quid to drink your own. The managers attitude is appalling! Why the charge, he replies! I've done it for a year so I don't need to tell you! I refused to order food because of his attitude so I can't comment on the food but it looked awful what I saw

Really nice takeaway, only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is because the onion bhajis were a little soggy and the garlic nann was a bit dry. The curries were really good the new kebab with donner and chicken tikka was really good, quite hot but very tasty. Poppadoms were nice and crispy

Food was all good, except the naan bread which was very burnt.

We have had food from here many times and it’s always delicious but tonight it was bland and watery and tasteless it was not very pleasant at all I’m sorry to say.

Can only give this place 4 stars as they no longer sell alcohol to enjoy with your meal. It's now a bring your own booze restaurant and there's a £3PP corkage charge so we just had soft drinks. The food was excellent as always and the service is great. Warm poppadoms to start with a chutney tray and thenI had a lamb rogan balti. This had good spice and large tender bits of lamb. I would say its a little pricey at around £11 for a main then you have sides like rice and chips on top. I would defiantly eat from here again but maybe get takeout so I can have a beer with my curry without being charged for it.

We returned the cuisine was always excellent before but they stopped selling alcohol 🍸 so haven't been for quite a while now you can take your own bottled beer we returned the cuisine was excellent 👍👏

Lovely food, driver wasn't the friendliest.

Food was lovely. Delivery driver was lovely. First Indian I’ve ordered in Blackpool that I’ve actually enjoyed so I will definitely be ordering again. Also portion sizes are perfect!

Used to go regularly but been using another place in poulton. Went as I was nearby, it's as though the spice wasn't put in and was just a bland sauce and I did order a hot dish. I noticed portion size smaller too. At £11 for a main I was rather disappointed

Ordered meal it was here in 15 to 20 minutes tops. Chuckney tray was very poor. 3 tubs. One onion with nothing else added. One mango. was nice and one yogurt. No salad. Sagaloo tasted of nothing. Really disappointed. And to add insult to injury (CASH ONLY ? ) I remember this takeaway used to serve lovely food with good portions. I am sad to say i will not order from here again. Nearly £30. I has one more course do not want to try it.When you buy Indian food you buy for the spices, the taste. Not bland food. Chines for me, more flavour and half the price.

Amazing as always. Try the Mr Naga curry for a spicy kick! I love spicy food and this curry did not disappoint. Food is always piping hot, the staff are wonderful as they always read my notes. Honestly, the Indian orchard delivers authentic and tasty food.. having travelled around Indian for a number of months a few years ago, I feel it's safe to say the Indian orchard reminds me of my travels. The chicken 🍗 is not right at all the meal was cold

Do not order and expect something nice it’s not gonna happen, cold food plus burnt to crusts . Am Indian and now about India food and i wouldn’t feed this is my dog. Have a nice night x

Portion sizes where almost half the tub

As soon as we got out of the car the aroma was sublime. Walked inside to a very clean and welcoming restaurant, staff were very pleasant. Placed our order and awaited the food, only drink available soft drinks or non alcoholic, our starters arrived well presented and fresh, we all had main courses we had not tried before these arrived very pleasing smells were wafting from the dishes, then the taste we were not disappointed, each dish was excellent full of flavour to tantalise your taste buds. It was a pleasure dining here, we will definitely return next time we are in Blackpool excellent food and service.

Chicken was dry. Korma was bland and tasteless, sauce was runny like soup, but it was OK as it was for a child. Tikka masala was ok but with the dry chicken and runny sauce it wasn't overly enjoyable. Pathia sauce was relatively nice, not overly flavoursome and the chicken was dry again. Nan breads were small and overpriced. We got 3 X chicken meals with rice and 2 nans for nearly £50 so I would have expected better quality and taste for the premium price. Won't order from this one again.

Eaten here a few times but I guess every now and then the quality differs, chips very soggy, poppadoms soft not crispy, main course was a speciality, was completely tasteless, daughter said her korma was nice other than that a waste of £40 in my opinion.

Fantastic food as always, piping hot and simply gorgeous. I had tarka dhal and Bombay aloo. If you haven't tried the tarka dhal here already, it is a must, it is autentic and divine! Well done Indian Orchard, you never let us down.

I have found that the food is far more expensive and the quality is not great, also the food was cold again which I have mentioned on a few occasions

Delivery speed was great and that was the only good thing I can say about my experience. Insulting portion sizes, considering what was paid. Cold, burnt, tasteless Chilli Naan Bread and small, little pick n’ mix bags of salad you’d give to a 6 year old as a bad trick or treat gift on Halloween night. Will not be returning here.

Really disappointed tonight, food arrived extremely quickly which is fine if good quality but sadly it wasn't tonight. My partner didn't enjoy his madras said it tasted strange, biryani fine, chips soggy & pale, naan bread burnt in places, had holes in it, extremely thin and shrunk in size lately every time you order it gets smaller! Always been our go to Indian but very disappointed tonight
