My Chocolate cake was so stale it would have been better using it as a door stop rather then attempting to break my teeth eating it. The ice cream was very nice but sadly the cake was that bad i couldn't give a better score...

Fouberts has always been my favorite ice cream venue in Chiswick. Even though they are now facing stiff competition from Oddono's they still have the best hazelnut and rum & raisin ice-cream in Chiswick/London? The pistachio is a tie with Oddono's :)

Having grown up in Chiswick I have been frequently delighted by Fouberts and their ice creams. However, having eaten main meals at Fouberts on a few occasions - I am surprised that the food is not as widely raved about! Many delicious pasta dishes at reasonable prices. Also! My friend and I once had a few late night gin and tonics in Fouberts - the owner was kind enough to talk to us and assist us in planning our summer trip to Italy!

When in Chiswick we usually save space after mains and then find a place to pick up dessert. We are lucky that there are options around here. Foubert's is a find. It is not as swanky as the other gelaterias locally but we come here for the ice cream. Scrumptious. Winner with our young daughter.

We have never partaken of the food at Foubert's but the plates that have passed us while we are eating our ice cream always look enticing and home made. What brings us back here time after time is the great ice cream and the lovely, older couple that invariably serve them to you. Very warm and family friendly.

During my stay in Chiswick, friends have told me to buy some home made ice cream! All I can say is YUM!!! The lady serving is so sweet, she gave me extra because I was Australian! Bountiful of flavours to choose from and the service was incredible. It's great to see wholesome family business like this do so well and I hope they continue to prosper. Can't wait to visit again!

We're Chiswick locals so we often stop by Foubert's - if not for soup, then for pasta, with an homemade ice cream to finish off. Premises are simple and quaint, reflecting the focus on good food. Even in winter, the line for ice cream stretches out the door. Everything is home made, to long-held family recipes. We keep try to get the recipe for the vegetable soup but to no avail. Truly local cafe. There is a sister restaurant (also Fouberts) in Kensington - same offering though here, we go more often for dinner if we're at local museum events.

Visited restaurant for lunch and chose the arrabietta (chilli tomato sauce) spaghetti topped with parmesan and a green tea. Pasta here is really, really, excellent and family run for over 40 years. Fouberts brings to mind French origins but they are Italian through and through, which is also reflected in their renowned Italian ice cream and I have seen queues snaking down the street during the summer. Warm and rustic in winter and cool and Italian in summer.Bill came to under £11 - bargain for some of the best pasta you will ever have!

Foubert's has a well-deserved reputation for it's gelato, but this review is about the restaurant. It is a local joint in Turnham Green, nothing fancy, but they serve very nice pasta dishes and more if you look beyond the ice cream counter. Foubert's is one of our favorite local places for dinner. Delicious, affordable classic Italian dishes are served in decent-sized portions: amatriciana, arribiata, Bolognese and the like.

Although in a much smaller place round the corner on Turnham Green, this institution is alive and well. Hadn't been for over 10 years but Luciano is still running the place an it is as good as ever. Cheap as chips and great home cooking. My lasagne was served as I had hoped in a battered aluminium tray and my friends salmon pasta was equally good. Basic, but fantastic value for London (both main meals were just £8) !! Lovely service, especially as they allowed us to eat past the official closing time. If you found this place in a back street in Rome you'd be telling everyone !! Beats the pants off any Italian chain or high-end place.

Following the incredibly disappointing experience at Gelupo, Fouberts remains one of the best ice cream restaurants in London. It is out in Chiswick (Zone 2) in the west. The ice-cream, sorbets and a couple of frozen yoghurt flavours are sublime. Still family run, the aged Italian Parents and what appears to be some grown children and so on.Home made on the premises by the best of them all. If you are in the neighbourhood, be sure to stop and enjoy a great ice cream treat.

Rhythm & Brews was (and is) my FAVOURITE coffee shop in London. I lived in London in 2018 just around the corner in Chiswick and it was my staple. Food, coffee and staff are super friendly. I visited again in 2022 and went there to reminisce for old time sake. I will be buying their coffee beans and getting them posted back to Australia, I love the coffee that much.
