Good for weekly Wednesday pub quiz! Questions are fun and enjoyable not impossibly difficult

Only visited in the morning to do some work but very comfortable and good coffee.

Blocked toilets in the gents let the otherwise good experience down.

Sophie is amazing, our drinks were delicious and she found us a table when they were reserved for the quiz

Rude bartender who refused to accept my ID (a government proof of age card), despite it being a very common form of ID and me being covered in tattoos. Won't be returning, shame as previously had nice experiences there.

I was en route to Weston Park and spotted the Forum which is close to Devonshire Green. It’s a big venue but there was a board outside advertising coffee so I went and was directed to the coffee bar area down several steps (there is an entrance to the coffee bar coming in by the external seating area which avoids steps). I ordered an oat milk latte and sat on one of the high stools. I asked about gluten free cakes etc and the barista pointed out a chocolate brownie. This was in a display case next to other products, not correctly labelled with no cover or separate serving equipment. I advised the barista about this but got no response other than a bemused look. NB I am not coeliac but avoid gluten. The coffee was good.

Iced banana bread matcha is insane!

We came looking for a brewery taproom but thankfully a local chap recommended The Forum. We each had a gorgeous Big Breakfast and excellent collaboration beer, with friendly, helpful bar service. A fab experience, thank you.

Absolute gem of Sheffield city centre. It’s the perfect blend of brunch/ dinner/ fun drinks/ quick coffee. Especially with a Pledge Card it’s so reasonably priced and I love the decor inside.

Great dog friendly pub. The staff are great and it has a good vibe. The prices are reasonable and the food is great.

Visited for breakfast with vouchers for free coffee after shopping at Vulgar, next door. The vegan danish was lovely, fruit with a chocolate ganache. Forum has a very cool environment and the music is great. The perfect start to our last day in Sheffield.

Been going here often since 1995, first time in a while I've been asked for a pint of cheapest lager and a pint of Prava £13.80.. that's me finished never going there again adios

I'm not sure what vibe they're aiming for, but it’s definitely not “great food.” Tonight, we ordered two sad little buttermilk chicken burgers. And I mean sad. Even with 50% off, these things were a disappointment. Barely any flavour, super dry (frozen, maybe?), and honestly, they looked like someone slapped a sad chicken breast in a bun with a few sad dribbles of sauce. After that experience, I won’t be coming back for food anytime soon. Definitely a "no thanks" from me. If you're after a burger, skip The Forum and head next door to Vocation Burgers. Same price, but a million times better!

I visited this place after seeing a post online advertising a discount, only to find out that the discount “takes 3 days” to activate and provide a code. This crucial detail was not mentioned in the post, and the only way to find out is by showing up in person. It feels misleading and like a deliberate tactic to get people to make the trip, hoping they’ll just buy food at full price out of convenience. I found this approach incredibly frustrating and disappointing. If you’re going to advertise a discount, the process should be clear and upfront. This experience left a bad taste in my mouth, and I decided to go elsewhere for breakfast. Businesses should value transparency if they want to build trust with customers.

A hybrid of a café, a restaurant, and a pub. Very fitting if you need all 3 in one evening. Coffee is amazing, and notably, service is excellent. It is also very close to Sheffield Town Hall and the walk on the street is quite nice if you're coming to Sheffield for a quick visit and you need to see different places.

Drinks a tad pricey but I you're going for the list artists it worth it.

One of the best bakeries ever. I often come by to take some pastries.This place is the reason why I still haven’t moved elsewhere in Sheffield

Argyle on tour!! A 5-hour train trip to Sheffield, and this was our pub of choice for pre match drinks. Slightly away from the centre, it was perfect for not being near the Argyle yobs . Smart pub and quite spacious, it had a nice feel to it and served food and decent beer. Met up with the Midlands cronies and also had good conversations with United fans. Not far from Bramall Lane either ( all downhill ! ). A perfect choice. We will come again....

Excellent cocktails and Ryan behind the bar is great. Selection of 241 cocktails which are served all day everyday. The pornstar martinis were better here than the Botanist. Thanks for a lovely evening!

We were well looked after on our Christmas Buffet. Our party was all working for the NHS and we had to organise our own Christmas party. Jake looked after us on the night made sure all our needs were met. Even after we made some changes with numbers and drops out, they accommodated. Overall a pleasant experience.

my go to coffee shop when im in sheffield, the coffee is always delicious and the staff are super lovely, they have plenty indoor and outdoor spaces, vegan options in milks and bakes and a great menu!

Lovely brunch and coffee. I had the cooked breakfast and it was lovely, everything cooked perfectly and a good atmosphere. Only food critique would be the small amount of baked beans. There was a wait of ~40 minutes for food, but was warned when ordering and it was a busy day so not an issue.

We really like the revamp with the new coffee shop, brunch/lunch and lovely staff & atmosphere lots of vegan options to choose from and non dairy milks & the syrups for coffee are vegan 🌱 too

Went for the Wednesday pub quiz. Got a Pledge card for £5 which gives 40% off drinks on a pub quiz night, otherwise 20% off for the rest of the week. The card works in a few other locations across as well like The common room and the Old Grindstone. £1 entry for the quiz, with free complimentary pizza x1 for the table which was great. There are several rounds in the quiz and the questions are quite diverse (in terms of format and topics). Also has a picture drawing round. Decent prizes for winners. Would definitely recommend to go with a group of friends, it’s quite fun.

Very welcome and polite staff who welcomed me warmly with a good Honest Northern Welcome and left me and all toenjoy the bar to their and my own devises. Next time would like to play Scrabble with more people. A coffee was poured for me with a 🧡 leaf 🌿 which I admire 'cause I like nature and the environment. So I knew I was among Kindred Spirits

Was in early for something to eat. Pizzas are really nice. Staff very friendly and helpful.

I like the vibes. We tried 2 pancakes and egg on sourdough. Coffee latte, iced hazelnut latte, and hot chocolate. All 10/10 The pancakes with sweet mascarpone and blueberry 10/8, it is not sweet at all. The pancakes with toblerone ganache and strawberries 10/10, it’s sweet. The egg on sourdough 10/8, the sourdough was to hard to cut. Also, we asked to add/remove things from the plates and they are ok with that, which is really good! The staff are really nice and friendly. I will go back again for sure!

Buttermilk chicken was flavourless, true north burger was overdone and dry, fries unseasoned.

We visited on a very busy night in Sheffield with 1hr to go before going to the utilia stadium. The young dark haired lad that served us, customer service skills were outstanding, we had an excellent tasting cheeseburger and chips. Sat in a great atmosphere. Would definitely recommend a visit ..

Ordered food and drinks here. Pizza and nachos were fine but the crispy fried buttermilk chicken tenders were not good. Four tiny pieces of chicken came out with a mediocre dip. I’d skip those if you order. Otherwise nice venue and really good service.

Poor portion sizes and salty pancakes, seemingly the lunch menu isn’t doing great. Coffee was nice though so I’d stick to that

We went as a group to the Forums Wednesday Quiz night and it was lovely, really great upbeat atmosphere and friendly staff. I had the Italian vegetable couscous salad which was soooo yummy 🤤

My new favourite spot for a full English in Sheffield! Food and coffee were perfect, staff were friendly and I just love the vibe here.

We had the cocktail making class from Harry - it was phenomenal. Put us right at home and looked after us start to finish. Harry was great.

Lovely place to go for a drink, the outside area is lovely in the sunshine with plenty of seating and a great atmosphere. The staff are friendly and make you feel welcome. Only downside is the prices, £6.10 for a pint of Madri or Rekorderlig. Would definitely come back but there are also cheaper options!

Great spot in the city, good food and atmosphere.

We didn't eat in but drinks were perfect - bright, airy and light space and really attentive staff. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

We like the location and atmosphere and the prices and offers seem ok but the food is always not quite hitting the mark and tastes old or oil needs changing Granted its made in house a lot but the chefs don’t seem quite there with the orders as theres usually an issue and they don’t really seem to be able to offer to remake or offer replacements Sadly in this day and age there are lots of other places who do offer better tastier more consistent food and do correct mistakes or own up to any errors so sadly after several half wasted meals and attempts at feedback to them but unresponsive we won’t recommend it or return here for food options

Lovely place, went here for a works Christmas Dinner. The starter and main was delish but a little disappointed with the dessert. Was meant to be a hot salted caramel bomb and just seemed like a cold normal chocolate tart. Other than that though it can't be faulted.

Bar lady took drinks before we finished when asked she said oh I took empties! They weren’t empty! Rude attitude

I recently went to Forum with some co-workers and had a quite unpleasant experience. Upon sitting down, a co-worker who eats gluten had looked at the hand held menu and it had indicated that there were only 2 gluten free items, both of which were small starters costing about £4. I'm disbelief she checked the online menu which indicated similarly, and then went to the bar, and the staff there confirmed the same. At this point, members of our team had already ordered food, so she ran across the street to get food that she could eat. Upon returning she was caught finishing off her food by another member of staff, I assume a manager. This individual had already raised their voice bringing attention to our table, and told her off for eating food from another restaurant in forum, stating that it was not acceptable. I interfered and expressed that under normal conditions I would understand, but Forum did not offer a suitable sum of gluten free food. Before I could continue to explain the situation, they interfered and adamantly disagreed with me, stating that they had plenty of gluten free options and expressed anger at the look that I was giving them. My coworker apologised and was quite shaken by the experience. It was not until a few minutes later that the manager/staff apologised that the other staff at the bar had actually misinformed us, and there were other items of the menu that could be made gluten free despite neither menu (handheld/online) indicating as such. At this point he said this information was available online, and suddenly it was. However upon checking 5-10 minutes afterwards it no longer was, which was very bizarre? Regardless, It is key that Forum update their handheld menus, ensure their online menu is correct at all times, and ensure their staff team are well versed on what they offer in regards to dietary requirements. This will prevent very unpleasant situations as such. A little bit of empathy demonstrated by that particular member of staff would have surely prevented the situation escalating. We had not intended to offend anyone, four out of five of us sat at the table had ordered full meals from their menu, and were peacefully and happily eating, in quite high spirits I might add! Fortunately, they host a rather nice Guinness to soothe the bitter taste in my mouth from that experience!

The Sunday lunch was excellent, and good value

Was there a change of management recently? We’ve been coming regularly and everything was amazing. This time the pints were terrible, flat and warm. Got served inedible mushrooms and the waitress said that this is how it’s cooked and half of it is not supposed to be eaten.. 🤔 really disappointed this used to be our fav place if sheffie.. ☹️

Used to be gluten free but not anymore. Every item on their menu has gluten in the ingredients.

Nice bar with a big terrace to enjoy sunny days! Food is average, don’t expect nothing too tasty, but for some beers it is enough. Service in the bar was friendly, but find it a bit uncommon to offer food from 15:30 onwards.

Lovely bar with a great atmosphere. Has a fantastic beer garden so a fab place to go in the summer. The staff are really friendly and when we were given the wrong food they took full responsibility and apologised, even offering free entry to a quiz and free drinks.

Lovely range of menu options, plenty of tables, tasty food, quick service. Would be good if you could order drinks to the table as well and if their heavy outer door was propped open to help people with drinks get through.

Absolutely lovely place, perfect for a quick drink after work, despite one of the staff members talking to other staff members disgustingly, I had a pleasant time. I overheard him talking to the staff very rudely. He was terribly miserable and had a horrible attitude. Other than him staff were lovely !

Wow its changed alot since i last visted. No one was spinning on their head or dancing. We did go in around 9-10 so maybe too early. Or maybe its the kids of today. Great beer selection and staff friendly. Had a few beers and left after doing thr moonwalk

What an absolute little treasure. Walked in after an awful experience in Revs De Cuba and met by the lovely Carina. Nothing was too much trouble and service with a smile so bright it really made the experience. We had several cocktails all good and then small plates with a rolled Yorkshire burrito. It’s fair to say we needed to be rolled out of the bar! Definitely worth it
