so so yummy, i really recommend the japanese miso ramen, really good price for such big portions of food!! you also get free drinks if you spend £5 or more :) Also their chicken is halal for any muslims out there

i have used FC before but was let down terribly last night, ordered quite a lot of food through Deliveroo £76.00 worth to freeze for future helpings....3 of the curries i ordered had ZERO heat in them...was so BLAND BLAND BLAND it was pathetic...if i was in a restaurant these would have been sent back but of course using Deliveroo ( who have been worse than useless in trying to get a refund) this was impossible...obviously mistakes happen which i understand but to have NO way of getting a part refund, this is a ridiculous way of ordering...BOTH Fortune Cat and Deliveroo are at fault here...disgusting service and BLAND FOOD

I was tempted to give it a 3, but this time, it was really good. Prior to 2022, the food here was ver good and was a hot spot for us, but recently, it has dropped in quality and flavour. I'm hoping it picks up and the quality changes, as it was our fav spot.

Ordered a big delivery takeaway with a specific note but received different. I phoned them why not and was told that the cook didn't want to do it. Like if you don't want our food, don't order!

Really nice food. Took 90 minutes for takeaway to be delivered so not great. And 3 items were missing. They did refund promptly but not the best service. Shame because we have used before and they have been great. Lovely food though, still the best around.

We phoned up to order last night as they didn't have an item we wanted on the online app. The person I spoke with was very helpful and understood what I needed. They Delivered in quick time too. The food was delicious and we had a good portion of everything. We thought they had forgotten the chips but they were just in with one of our meals, I had phoned to let them know but they were absolutely cool with it after I realised I had made a mistake. We will use them again!

Not good. The noodles where awful. Hardly anything in it. Just dry noodles. No sauce and no vegetables. Just a few scraps of spring onion.

First time ordering from here and very pleased! Dim sum was delicious as was the chilli beef and chai sui buns. Almost as good as we had in HK.

Dismal effort on this occassion. Unfortunatly I really cannot justify ordering again from Fortune Cats. My Uber order FDD2D Already called the restaurant to give them the opportunity to learn from the experience I just had this evening. Suddenly understanding me was a problem. I requested Disposables - did not receive it. Being in a hospital at the time, not access to disposables so this was a issue. Food was eaten cold unfortunatly. Delivery was 18 minutes late. We left a note asking for Soya sauce and chilli oil. Apparently that is chargeable and we did not receive those. Would have been nice to communicate that to us before hand. Food tasted very average with it and of course eating it cold. I made a call to Fortune Cats and complained of my experience and they decided to handle the call and end it very quickly. I wish I had photos to share with you all. But Fortune Cats have my order Number from Uber (FDD2D) Thank you

Order delivery via Uber Eats with 30% or 40% off from time to time. Their Duck Ramen in soup with really big portion of duck every time. The Fried Rice portion is big too. Their Salt and Pepper Chicken Wings is really good.

The worst service. I ordered a vegetarian meal and got meat instead, when I called and explained I had received the wrong order the lady on the phone blamed Uber eats and blocked my number. I then drove to the restaurant to ask if I could have the correct order and she barely spoke to me. I explained that I was upset, that I had almost eaten the meat and that she hadn’t even apologised. Once I told her I was going to leave a bad review on google she then decided to apologise. Such a shame, terrible service.

It's so unfortunate, when they get the order right, the food is great. But more often than not, it's not what we ordered at all and unfortunately we won't be ordering again.

We have been ordering here since we moved to Mill Hill few years back. Always 💯 happy. Sadly since few months food started getting worse to that point that I decided to put a review once I got my delivery today. Idk whether it’s a case of chef swapping or corners cutting but I will have to check other places. Again I’m not happy because of that.. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Cash only collection. Food cooked quickly but all over cooked and very dry. When we tried the website we got a fake virus alert Not at all good sorry to say so.

Always been a bit hit and miss with this place but the quality with the last few orders has dramatically fallen. The crispy duck was not crispy in the slightest, more like a rubber duck. The beef in the black bean sauce, I have to be honest, I thought I was chewing the table. The special vermicelli had no prawns. I get it, credit crunch has hit every one, but if you want to charge your astronomically sky high prices, the food should at least be reasonable. This is now the third and final time I’ve said, I won’t be ordering from you again

Yummy foods and quick delivery and orders.

I’ve ordered twice now for home delivery. The packaging is excellent, food flavoursome and freshly prepared and it’s always delivered with great timing. The only negative is the menu can be a little confusing when you are new to using it based on the various options to personalise your meal, which are all fantastic but take getting used to as most Chinese/asian takeaways are as detailed. I am definitely a regular customer now.

Had a couple good experiences with this place but wow has that changed. 1hr 20mins for the food to arrive. Ok fine. Inedible food. NOT!! Shredded beef could not eat!!! So tough. The chow mein was like a block. Chicken balls cold. Duck spring rolls cold, very strange taste. Not good!!! Sweet and sour chicken, half of my portion was onions. Wasted £50.

Very rude. I called up to make an order then she said order online. I said okay but I have a special request so can I tell you and I’ll order online then she cut me off very rudely saying you can’t just order that. I was like I’m aware I’m going to order more things but just for that one dish. Never have experienced such rude customer service. Ordered by delivery- driest sweet and sour chicken I've had. Was so hard I couldn't actually eat it. It tasted like it was a day old. Portions are big though but wasn't good food.

Chicken came raw. Called up to request a replacement be sent. Instead I got shouted at because it was supposedly impossible for the chicken to be raw. Luckily Just eat refunded me and I'll never order from here again. I don't think service could get any worse.

Very bad service when I call them for placing a delivery they can’t speak in English. And they ask for case payment only as I was not having any cash I couldn’t order any food . I strongly recommend not to order if you don’t have any cash .

Very mixed - lovely veg spring rolls, fresh, but the sweet and sour very vinegary, and they forgot to put syrup with the dessert as was advertised. Last time there was no tofu in the tofu dish, I get the impression they take too many orders that they can deal with, and then leave bits of the meal out you have paid for.

Used to give this place 5 stars but recently the prices have hiked up and the food has gone terrible. Such a shame.

The food was extremely difficult to chew, and the overall experience was quite different from my previous orders from the same restaurant.

Just had crispy duck and fried rice. Both inedible. The duck was undercooked full of fat and not even a tiny bit crispy. The rice was hard and tasteless. Won’t order from here again. Very dissatisfied

My Go to takeaway when I’m craving Chinese food.

Ordered and was dispatched in 10 minutes. Does not feel comfortable eating food that’s prepared that ridiculously quickly.

Some portions are small, noodle was ok size and tasty, fried rice portion was a little small and meat ratio was quiet low too. In general foods tasty, I gave 4 stars because they don't accept card when you pick up and sesame prawn toast portions should be a little more.

Takeaway only but i think under new management the food was lovely and very quick and friendly service.

This shop has thives as delivery persons I made an order via uber eat they took food to a differnt house , an empty one then posted a picture stating delivered I stated they should ring me or drop at door I was charged and lost money

I ordered thai tom yum with ho fun noodles, but i bet it was regular rice vermicelli, it was different from what i saw on internet (ho fun noodles were depicted as 1 centimeter wide and flat, like tagliatelle) and it was not as tasty as I expected I also order Har Gow, it was delicious, shrimp in rice dough, but the sauce seemed to be too vinegary.

Terrible customer service over the phone. Inflated prices via just eat and deliveroo the same meal I order over the phone (£7) when I speak to someone who will actually let me speak is £14 including delivery on deliveroo. I would suggest calling ahead and collecting if in the area.

Serious doubts as to whether the food is actually cooked by Chinese chefs. Crispy duck had zero seasoning and was rock hard- impossible to tear with a fork. The two noodles dishes ordered were so salty they had to be thrown away. Will not be ordering again. The worst ‘Chinese’ food we’ve ever had.

If you’re thinking about eating here, I wouldn’t! One of the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had, went through just eat to get our food from here. Got a text at quarter to 8 that our food was delayed, and it took an hour and twenty-minutes to arrive and I had ordered around seven thirty. Called up roughly 10 times because our food and no one answered the phone. It felt like they let the phone ring out, I kept asking hello thinking someone picked up but it carried on ringing out. Everyone in my house hold tried to call but no calls were answered. To make it worse, the food didn’t taste nice either and was overly greasy. Not a good experience in the slightest, and I wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

My husband and I just ordered Chow mein and crispy shredded beef with egg fried rice. The chow mein is okay. The shredded beef on the other hand is not great at all. I had this dish a lot of times from various places to know that what I just received from Fortune Cat is not freshly cooked. In fact it taste and feels like reheated food. I know this because the shredded beef is so chewy. That's what happen if you reheat the shredded beef. It is so chewy that I spent more time chewing and making sure my jaws don't lock instead of actually eating and swallowing the food. The only positive thing about this chewy shredded beef is that my jaws are probably extemely strong now with all that chewing that I can probably crush a walnut shell with my jaws.

Food OK but I wish you label food as we regularly do big orders and the prawn/chicken dumplings get muddled and people have allergies! Same with veggie and meat options! It's not that hard.

Was a cold and lazy night last night for Cooking so decided to get Fortune Cat. Chicken ball Beef stew with Hofun Wonton soup with egg noodles Wonton soup and Japanese curry chicken with egg-fried rice. The correction of the product was wrong, talking about the tests as “absolutely salty” My suggestion as the manager of the restaurant is “speak with your chef “try every dish your cook” or work somewhere else!! Tom

I ordered salt and pepper prawns with vermicelli. No doubt the food taste good but the vermicelli is just 6/7 wooden forks full filled with chunks of onions. That is so deceiving. If one doesn't like onions, they will be hungry after ordering this meal. Inclusion, not value for what you pay for. More more money less quality for food.

“TOFFEE banana fritters” served with syrup right? Wrong. Battered banana lightly dusted with icing sugar. Incredibly disappointed. It’s like getting fish and chips and there being no fish just chips with cod dusting!

Out of 4 items, only 2 arrived and the food was so spicy that I had to bin (again). Honestly, I love spicy foods and eat raw jalapeños but this food was manky. Tasteless and only tasted salt and too hot pepper. Its fair to say that I'm never ever ordering from Fortune Cat anymore cos they're inconsistent and never take responsibility for their mistakes. I wonder how many more foods go missing and they add to their profits???🤷🏿‍♀️

Was mixed about the reviews but honestly if I could put up a picture the lemon chicken was beautiful very crispy chicken the batter was very nice beef chow mein was spot-on and the egg fried rice sticky again spot on

I am so confused by the reviews here, I’ve been having takeaway from Fortune Cat for the last two years and 99% the food is outstanding. I normally order the noodles with prawns or egg friend rice with prawns, crispy chilli beef, butterfly prawns or prawn balls and it’s so tasty! And I know it’s not just my husband and I, our friends and family have also tried the food on multiple occasions and they love it (except my mum!) The portions are great which lets everyone to try some of each other’s dishes. The only thing that can be improved is amount of salt in the green curry as it can be too salty. Last week I tried the Japanese curry (yes I know it’s a Chinese takeaway but everyone fancied Chinese and I wanted katsu curry). It was surprisingly very tasty, not as good some other places that actually do Japanese cuisine but decent enough in case you want to try. I hope they continue with this great quality and service as this is our regular Chinese takeaway place. Also to add we always order via Uber Eats so not sure if their service/ delivery is any good.

ZERO STARS. just ordered from here as my son said the one in East Barnet was good. I had my doubts but ordered anyway. roast pork picture was clearly not crispy belly pork when it arrived and the pork was clearly re cooked, dry and not fresh - inedible. I immediately requested a refund from Deliveroo and clearly will never go back. Should have stuck to my local Wings which was always good. Avoid this one at all costs.!!! worst chinese ever consumed

This is quite possibly the worst Chinese I have ever eaten, in fact, it is the worst, crispy chilli beef was far from crispy, was soggier that a wet flannel. And was a big tub of bbq sauce not a sweet chilli glaze as it should be. The chow mein noodle were not chow mein. It was vermicelli impersonating original chow mein with egg inside? What blasphemy is this? 1/10, 1 being the spring rolls - from Chinese Conisseur

Food is great. You need to know what you want, try the crispy peking duck or the duck soup. Very authentic Chinese food.

Do not order from this place. We ordered a takeaway from here tonight and it has to be THE worst Chinese I have ever received. Tasteless, dry noodles, sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style pale and tasteless, hot and sour soup tasteless, won ton soup tasted like dirty boiled water, wontons terrible taste and even worse appearance. We had to throw half away it was that bad! A complete waste of money. Terrible service too on the phone and the delivery driver left the food on the doorstep and didn't even wait for us to open the door to hand us the food. Awful.
