First visit here and I have to say I really liked the fish and chips. Went for the haddock and chips. It was extremely nice. The chips were cooked well and the Haddock had lots of taste. Prices were very reasonable. Staff were friendly.

We had dinner for take away tonight and it was one of the best fish and chips we ever had. The fish taste so good and it was a good quality too. The portions are huge and very well priced. Customer service was excellent as well. The place itself was very clean.

A game of two halves for this little chippy tucked down a side street. Had to order to be cooked fresh. Waited outside so didn’t see the whole procedure. The fish was lovely, hot and fresh but the chips were by far the worst I ever had from a fish and chip shop. They were flavourless and hard like they had been reheated which I suspect they had, really didn’t enjoy.

I bought lunch here today and really wish I hadn’t bothered, the soup was supposed to be cream of mushroom but was anything but creamy. It was this with really large pieces of mushroom which were difficult to eat with a spoon. The cheese scone was a strange colour and had a really weird taste. It used to be a great place to eat but was sold recently and is to be avoided. I will not return!

Looked wonderful but sadly it is not dog friendly. Dogs not allowed. You could sit outside with a dog i think. Google very misleading as we chose Rockpool especially for being dog friendly.

Sooooooo overpriced!!! I got a roll that the bread disintegrated when I picked it up and 2 slices of just cooked bacon for £4.80 hilariously i paid £2 for a tattie scone that was uncooked 🤢 i had taken 2 bites out of the roll before I realised that it was warm but not cooked. The others I was with said their food was edible but for the price would it expect it to be at least nice 🤷‍♀️ save your money and go somewhere nicer for breakfast! The restaurant was cold, we sat with jackets on as most others were doing as well which didn't help with the non welcoming atmosphere. The lady serving was chatting to people who she must have known. I had to wave at her after waiting 15 minutes to get served. My last point is the 1 toilet. There must be others but there was no mention of another toilet by the waitress when she seen a queue of customers waiting.
