Delicious shakshuka served in a very generous portion. We ate outside in a sunny day, and it was a marvelous experience. Coffee was also excellent!

We visited this weekend and had a wonderful experience. Incredible food and a lovely atmosphere. We were a large party of 9 and Fore Street allowed us to book a table and pre order. We loved the vegan options on the menu. Will 100% be returning.

Called in on our way home from a long weekend as we had seen the cafe on Google. As much as it looked really good, we were glad to say it was every bit as good and exceeded the reviews. The staff were really friendly and pleasant and more than happy to accommodate our requests to tweak our orders. The food was amazing and as delicious as people had mentioned, and overall got to say how nice it is to find a small independent cafe that understands that good quality food, friendly staff and sensible prices are all people want. We hope to come down again soon, and will definitely book in again. Congratulations on your efforts and hope you continue to smash it.

We had an amazing brunch at this trendy seaside café with a party of seven. The food was absolutely delicious with generous portions and something for everyone—including fantastic vegan options! The breakfast dishes were beautifully presented in a modern, creative way, and the turmeric latte was a standout—smooth, flavorful, and warming. Service was friendly and efficient, and we all left with full bellies and big smiles. Can’t wait to come back next time we’re in town!

This is such a gorgeous spot! Amazing variety on the menu for all dietary requirements, vegans are well catered for, and some amazing meaty plates too. Just a note that when we were there they had troubles with their card payments but also have signs saying cash is preferred. So maybe best to make sure you’ve got some cash in your pocket!

Friendly staff, wonderful and quick service, and lovely atmosphere!

Came for breakfast on our final day in Cornwall and only issue we could have was we wished we found it sooner. Dog friendly, great staff and food. Our waitresses didn’t bat an eyelid when we ordered sausages for our pooches and they even came ready to eat which is perfect. We are normally left having to cut them up and waiting for it to cool. 10/10, if we come back to Cornwall this is a must visit for us.

The food and coffee was so good! I normally opt for a meat-based brunch but went for the "Healthy" veggie brekky. Tasted amazing and was just what I needed after a few days of eating rubbish.

Very nice little café in the center with super tasty dishes. Ideal for breakfast, both for traditional Cornish breakfasts and for more unusual creations. The waitress was super nice and the atmosphere was cozy. If you are a larger group of more than 4 people, you should make a reservation because all places are quickly filled.

Went for brunch and there was a great range of food to choose from. Everything that everyone ordered looked amazing and tasted even better. Delicious coffee too! Would highly recommend and I will definitely be back when next in the area.

Fore street is a very cute cafe, the atmosphere is cute and cosy. The cafe is on the expensive side. My partner had the ‘healthy’ breakfast which was avocado on toast. You have to pay extra for salmon and poached eggs so I think the total for the meal was £17 which is very expensive considering it was bland and I even had to ask for chilli flakes. They also covered the plate in salad, which was over the top. I had the shakshuka, which was very nice - however I’m not going to give massive credit to them as I would be worried if someone messed up chickpeas, onions and tinned tomatoes. This also came without poached eggs (my mistake for not reading the menu properly, but as shakshuka comes with eggs I didn’t think I would have to pay £1.50 PER EGG). I had the elderflower lemonade which was nice, but £4.50 wow. The carrot cake is really lovely, and all the cakes were vegan too. The cinnamon roll isn’t my favourite, but I think that’s because it’s more sponge like and I prefer a pastry. It’s nice, but personally not worth the price.

I went here because of the reviews. When I got there, it sadly wasn't what the Google review hype paints a picture of. It was quite expensive for what the dishes were. And the options were not many and nothing appealing. I was hungry but didn't find anything on the menu that was satisfactory to me at the time. I settled for something that sounded lot nicer than what it was "a hot chocolate with ice cubes" for £5. Service was also a case of "where's the waiter." But hey it was a place to try. I'm not sure where people are getting all day breakfast from and putting pics up of like full English etc. Cause those were definitely not on the menu. The menu I had was a cheese toastie variety or a 2 slices of toast with a choice of things on it.

Nice cafe - were there for breakfast.

Was seated for 15 mins with zero interaction - other tables also waiting. Dirty tables around & staff chilling behind the counter with zero urgency. A few people walked in after us & got served immediately. Just seemed a bit careless service. Saw us leave & said nothing. We may as well have been invisible. I’m not one to complain but felt I needed to! We came to the cloud down the road & served, seated immediately with great service. Thanks

The café is very cutely decorated, the service staff is incredibly nice, cheerful and helpful, only the cheese in my toastie was a bit too crunchy for me.

I had a latte and scrambled eggs on toast. The eggs were cooked and seasoned perfectly, i wanted to have more. The sourdough bread was incredible, crispy on the exterior and soft and chewy in the middle Highly recommend

Shakshuka was incredibly salty and the onions weren’t diced. Outside of the onion was used. Poached eggs were tossed in, leaving a watery and inedible mess of a bowl.

My favourite cheese toastie ever!! Though everything is delicious so it’s a tricky decision! Fore st cafe is a go to whenever I’m in Newquay. Amazing food and reasonable prices. I’d recommend booking in advance if you want to eat in. Otherwise, get a takeaway and take it down to the beach!

Fore Street Cafe Bar is simply amazing. I genuinely cannot express the quality, taste and freshness of the food here. The atmosphere is warm, humble and welcoming. The food is compelling, well-defined and explosive with flavour. The service was beyond friendly. No matter where you are going for your holiday at Newquay, make this a pit stop - it's worth it.

Not just breakfast. Everything cooked and seasoned to perfection. My boys breakfast was perfect, Ernest (3) and I demolished it all! Highly recommend. Worth the trip up from Goonhavern 😀

The option of bakery items is fantastic and having tried both vegan options. They were extremely tasty and flavourful. Depending on who you can get hold of some members of the team. I’m more helpful than others. The overall atmosphere in the location is very hectic and not relaxing.

The food here was tasty, and some nice choices on the menu. I had the drink the from the specials menu which was nice and refreshing. Staff seemed a little vague and distant. Not sure what that was but just felt a little weird, maybe just an off day. Would come again for the food.

Absolutely worst service. We waited 15 minutes to just place the order. Then we waited 45 minutes for normal breakfast ( nothing fancy) to arrive and it never came. I went to ask the manager about what was happening and they said they will check. After another 15 minutes the manager came and said that the kitchen lost our order. BUT what a coincidence, we had also ordered coffee at the same time and coffee station was a completely different section. The coffee also never came.

Not your average cafe . Fine healthy food in a nice little cosy building. Don't expect a full English but what you get is a complete change. Healthy and delicious

I had breakfast here the last 3 days with a group of friends. The food, the service and the atmosphere were all excellent. Will definitely eat here again if I’m back in Newquay and can highly recommend. Can particularly recommend the vegan granola as well as the scrambled eggs with smoked salmon.

What a genius Chef. All the food in detail preparation. We have four people in this time. All day breakfast is fantastic. I have take “Smokey “ all day breakfast. It really make my day. The home made beans prepare in difference way. What a big surprise about that. The presentation of the food is really nice. Thanks for such wonderful breakfast.

Excellent coffee and super food, at the Fore cafe, found by chance on a day out. The girls serving us were lovely and genuinely helpful. Best coffee we’ve had, both of us taken by surprise at quality of the food and ingredients. Would highly recommend. Wish I’d taken a photo. I had the pancakes, fruit, chia seeds and yoghurt.

One of the best cortados I've had in the UK, real depth of taste, right strength and well made. Lovely people (and the brownie was decent 😀 too).

The best breakfast in Newquay, with a good variety of dishes to choose from, plus delicious smoothies and hot drinks. Vegetarians are really well catered for too. Their ‘Shrooms’ breakfast with miso mushrooms is my absolute favourite, but their homemade baked beans are a close second. A good size portion, cooked fresh, served by friendly staff.

Beautiful breakfast! After being recommended by many I finally tried Fore Street Cafe Bar and I’m so happy I did. Not only is the presentation beautiful the food also adds up. I had scrambled eggs with spring onion and added home made beans. Not sure how they cook their toast but it was so crispy and delicious 🤤 It’s a little pricey but if you’re looking for something yummy and different I highly recommend here 👍🏻 Staff are super friendly especially one lady but I have forgotten her name unfortunately!

Amazing breakfast and really helpful happy staff!

Great breakfast today at the Fore Street Cafe in Newquay. The welcome was fantastic. So great to feel at ease straight away. Quick service and the food was excellent. The pancakes with bacon were so good. Best bacon EVER! My daughter had the impressive and tasty granola bowl and other members of the family had avo on toast and the breakfast ciabatta which were both great. Finally, hot and excellent coffee was very welcome. Highly recommended.

A very nice and cozy place for breakfast or brunch. Ladies are lovely and helpful. Great choices for everyone from vegan to low carb options.

Just had the scrambled eggs and smoked salmon. Sourdough toast was crisp, scrambled eggs were soft and well seasoned, the dill oil gave a burst of freshness and the smoked salmon was delicate and not overly smoked. There are cheaper places to eat, but you get what you pay for, both the food and service were on point.

The most amazing brunch! This is defo one of the top places we ate at on our trip to Newquay! The atmosphere was amazing too and the staff were extremely friendly. I had the pancakes and they were so good! They are also doggy friendly 🥰

Two of us had brunch here recently, and been many times before. Honestly Fore Street is probably my favourite breakfast in town. Huge flavour in everything, quick, great staff and all at a good price. Can't fault it.

This is an amazing place to eat. Friendly service, dog-friendly, and the food is amazing. We had the bacon/egg/slaw toasties and scrambled eggs on toast - amazing! The coffees are excellent and much better than the chains. Fully recommend!!!

For me this place is absolutely the best cafe, had a fantastic late lunch here after a freezing surf, perfect end to the perfect day the food is fantastic, clean refreshing flavours and the welcoming friendly atmosphere is just the best!
