The Halloween event was really good but felt very ripped off to be charged Β£11 for 1 hot dog and a can of coke! Especially as I couldn't even eat the bap the hot dog was in as it was awful, hardly any onions too

"My partner and I had the most amazing time at Forage! We'd heard great things about this place, and it totally lived up to the hype. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a super friendly waitress who showed us to our table and explained the menu. The sommelier was a total pro and helped us pick the perfect wine to pair with our meal. We had the most delicious scallops and a perfectly cooked steak. And don't even get me started on the homemade bread and olive oil! The atmosphere was so cozy and romantic, with soft music and candlelight. And the dessert? To die for! The tarte tatin was out of this world. The chef even surprised us with a little plate of stuffed dates β such a nice touch. The staff were all so friendly and attentive. We had such a great night, we'll definitely be back!

We visited for the Pumpkin Patch with our family, then decided to have lunch. Very busy, but a table was available with 10 minutes wait. Food, as always was outstanding and all the staff super friendly and so helpful. Forage is a wonderful experience and family friendly.

We have been regular customers at Forage for breakfast and lunch and always book well in advance. Today was our last visit (26/8/24). We arrived at the correct time of our booking to be shown a completely unsuitable table next to the ordering point and till we asked to be moved but were told no other tables were available even though there were clearly empty tables of two available. We made a second request to be moved this was refused so we left, we will not return. Had all other tables been occupied we would not be complaining but as there were other tables available we felt let down.

We dropped in in passing and thought we'd try Forage out. Great decision, we encountered friendly, professional service, a limited lunch menu but wow, such good quality steaks, accompaniments and desserts. You do pay a little more than in your average pub but there is a marked difference. Well worth it and we'd like to think next time for a treat will be spent in Forage.

π Wayne's Eats - Local Food Blogger for South Wales (Instagram/Facebook Review) "One will never regret having a Caesars Baguette" No seriously this is easily one of my favourite lunch time meals when working at home, which happens to be every day π No I'm kidding but seriously if I could I would π π @caesars_coffee β‘οΈ Today's Menu: π Southern Fried Chicken baguette with mayo and melted cheese. π Review: Easily one of my favourite cafe/coffee shops in Barry! I've recently learned a new hack for this baguette, normally I would just have it quite simply with mayo but when you add the melted cheese on top it gives this a whole new dimension. Highly recommended π

We got a takeaway for a birthday and my hot and sour soup was sweet and not hot or sour. My Szechwan prawns was chicken and gloopy sauce and not hot at all. The rice was greesy also. Will not be ordering from here again. My mother I in laws chow mein had pork and it was tough.

We went here following glowing reviews on social media and here on trip advisor. Very disappointed with our lunch. You have to order at the bar and pay include the tip without the knowledge that they earned it! Our lunch which was from the small plate menu Lamb, and portion of chips. It took 40 minutes to arrive even after a reminder. others near us had theirs served before us even though we had arrived first. We sat on a table in the middle of the restaurant. We seemed to be isolated, window seats on larger tables were available but not to a 2. We quite often find this in some establishments but are usually offered a better table when requested. When we left 6 customers left. Oh dear, we shan't be back. By the way we find the shop also expensive. Other deli's offer more and better value.
