This is our favourite takeaway and we use them regularly. The flavours are wonderful…. But, sadly there is less and less content of late. Meat has been massively lacking. Also when ordering large meals from other places you tend to get a free bottle of pop or prawn crackers, there’s never anything from here. Just feeling like our favourite place is not giving us value for our money. This time spare ribs were replaced with two chicken wings and I had to complain. Really sad.

The food is amazing, they have so much more options than a lot of the other chinese restaurants around me and the food also came early. Will definitely order from again :)

Food was greasy and cold. Had a long wait from ordering to delivery. Won’t be ordering from here again.

Was really hopeful I would finally find a nice Chinese in Tamworth, however I was disappointed. The food did not taste as described in the menu. Sweet and Sour could possible be the worst I've ever had. Just an odd tasting sauce and cut up battered chicken. The chips were SO overseasoned they were inedible. Prawn toast was rock solid. Crispy shredded beef clearly wasn't cooked in sauce and just placed on top of the sauce as a lot of the beef was dry. also an odd tasting dish. Disappointing ☹️

Been going here for years. Never any issues and food is always on time, hot and delicious. We were worried when we both went Vegan a few years ago but their Tofu dishes are amazing

chicken wing rib and wanton in humble appetizer over cooked,hard. very dissapointed

the chips were stale and cold the shredded beef had no beef in it at all and the bbq spare ribs were in a thick cold dark sauce and the ribs were black it was horredous and a waste of £28

the char mein and chips were that salty it was uneable. very disappointing meal.

I'm not one to complain normally but the food we had from here last night was really poor. The chips were stone cold, the egg fried rice was cold and stodgey and the chicken in the main tasted like it had been boiled for days. The curry sauce was just bizarre it was really thick and oiley and just overpowering with spice like someone had poured as much seasoning as they could find in it. Really disappointed especially for the price, definitely won't be ordering from here again.

I use to use them all the time and today I was so disappointed I stopped eating it. It took 2hrs & £40 for it to taste so bad I regret the mouthfuls I took. I will not be using them again. My review is from someone who use to rate them! When you go in the place you also see why you should not, mould all around the windows, ceiling a mess and lighting out. Kids sitting in kitchen.

Ribs were rock hard and SAUCE was black, inedible

Crispy shredded chicken was just batter and no chicken and rib sauce was so thick and had a funny taste that wasn’t bbq

Crispy won ton were dark brown having been left in the fryer for far too long. Chips were hard like they had been re-heated. Sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style was poor, very chewy. Won’t order from here again

Absolutely shocking, sent 2 wrong items, called up, was told there was nothing they could do as they had run out of the items we had ordered, my son is t1 diabetic, had ordered Singapore noodles (low carb) got rice(high carb) he had already injected to allow for his food, then had sent banana fritters not pineapple, explained that they had our details to inform us or could have let the delivery driver know that they didn’t have the items, but no replacement or refund was offered, just told to mention next time we order and we can have 10% off, ridiculous our average order is £40, so £4!! Payed more than that for the privilege of delivery, not happy

After reading some of the other negative reviews I wasn't sure what to expect. The food was very nice for a reasonable price and it arrived on time.

Cold food arrived over an hour earlier than informed

Absolutely shocking, it was late last time and I wanted to give them another chance.., never ever again, arrived late, chips cold, no peas with the Spanish omelette, and only found mushroom in it with a tiny bit of chicken, my partners house special rice had no prawns in it, absolutely rubbish, will never ever order from them again. Feel like we have been totally ripped off . Awful awful awful awful awful.so angry.

The food was absolutely awful. Nothing was ‘classic’ Chinese style, the rice was hard, the spring roll was wrapped in something soggy like a pancake? The chips had a really odd smell to them, The bbq sauce had a burnt aftertaste and all the extra bits in the appetiser were over cooked. there was nothing even closely decent out of the lot! So so disappointed…

Not the best food not warm and not very appealing and not overly tasty, first time ordering from here and it will be the last.

Quite possibly the worst Chinese food I've had. Chicken curry was bland and was processed chicken. Egg friend rice had barely any egg in it. The appetiser starters for two box, which came with spring rolls and won tons and samosas were vile. I'm not sure what was in them..looked like processed ground meat. Yuk sung did not taste right at all. Chow mein was okay and the chips. But won't be going here again! Awful!

One of the worst if had in a long time. Food tastes cheap and all dripping in Greece. All tastes the same and definitely not worth the price. Won't be ordering again.

Late delivery when I called the woman kept talking over me & just repeating it’s on its way. Was converter app stated it was delivered but 30mins later it was still not with us. Everything was cold & needed reheating. Would not order from here ever again.

Love the food from food paradise. Always so yummy. Staff are lovely and the foos amazing. We always have a huge order (usually for 10 or 11 sittings) and everyone love its. If I had only one niggle its that the dried ribs although tasty are really quite expensive for what you get. Ribs are tiny and more recently the is little meat on them and have been more grizzly and fatty which isnt how they used to be, If youve changed suppliers I would encourage you to change back. Otherise top notch !!!

Food was absolutely gross and we waited an hour and a half to have an extra 30 mins added after it was already 5 minutes over scheduled. It honestly tasted like it had been rubbed around the floor. They dont refund either. Food is over priced and the service is shocking. Dont waste your money

Just fantastic, the best Chinese in Tamworth. I have tried a few as a vegetarian and food paradise offer the freshest and tastiest tofu. I am so glad I finally found a good place to order can’t beat a bit of para and a zootie on a Friday night

Absolutely disgusting. Black bits in the chicken balls, noodles tasted reheated and the prawn crackers were stale. Worst Chinese I've ever tasted. Ended up in the bin.

I'm afraid the sauce of the curry was thicker than gravy, the beef was chewy. The crispy chiken balls were soft. The fried rice was bland. Sweet and Sour sauce was alright. Unusual to find a chinese that doesnt provide complimentary prawn crackers as standard with every order.

Would have been higher but I specifically asked for no mushroom in a particular dish What I got was what seemed to be extra mushroom and little else so that went straight in the bin as I’m allergic I’m supposedly getting a refund……

This restaurant has never let us down. Excellent food, fast service brought to your door still hot and with a smile.

Very disappointing food, salt and pepper"ribs" were more like rib ends and meat bits, food came luke warm and it was very very bland. 2/5 items were wrong. Basically £35 wasted. The dog didn't mind it tho. Will be sending my custom elsewhere in the future.

Fantastic service, can not fault the restaurant at all for that. Polite, friendly lady who delivered. Disappointed with the food though. The ride was dry, the noddles were soggy, the ribs were burnt, hard and very chewy. Can only say the chips were good!

Was really looking forward to a Chinese for family. However prawns tasted rubbery and weird taste, prawn toast was that hard couldn't eat it, rice was dry all tasted like yesterdays food stale waste of money never again would I go here

3 hours from ordering saying delivered at 7 when had to phone at 7.46 to be told will be another 20 mins then it arrived at 8.08 with missing food

Pre-ordered meal to arrive at 7.15pm, after 2 phone calls chasing up order, it finally arrived at 8.50pm. Although the food was delicious and hot, very disappointed that it arrived over an hour and half late

Shocking food! I never turn down food but threw this in the bin. Greasy, powdery, burnt, starters presented in a chicken box that you would get from a chip shop.

Food was okay but wouldn’t order again as had to wait so long. Ordered quite early and was told delivery would be almost 2 hours later bad enough!!! When it didn’t arrive, I rang and was told 20 mins. However, it was 40 mins!!! I waited over 2.5 hours in total, for food that was average at best. No apology and no complimentary prawn crackers to apologise for delay. Most restaurants offer these as standard but obviously their customers aren’t that important to them. Food tasted like it had been re-heated constantly. BBQ sauce for barbecue ribs was black, thick, almost like tar. definitely over cooked. Rib meet was tough, probably reheated. Sweet & Sour balls were crispy, hard to chew so again over cooked, re-heated. Black bean sauce was nice but watery and chicken was stringy. Minimum charge is highest for restaurants in area and delivery charge is highest. If food was of better quality I would not mind either high cost, but food did not justify these. Can’t see me ordering from here again.
