Foleys Fish Bar in Wyre Forest

Got two kids meals and a cod special for 15 quid. Excellent fish, great battered sausage and loads of tasty chips. The service was quick and really friendly. Very impressed.

Good portion sizes and value for money. Tried most chippies in the local area and this is our new favourite. Can be very busy but that speaks volumes for the quality of the food. You can also order online for collection so you dont have to wait in the queues.

Hi foleys just to let you know I try to be positive on my reviews . It was my husband who came in for the pie and chips and sorry to say the chips were cold and maby I should have bought them back and complained Regreplyuards Dot Field

Most disgusting chips I've ever tasted. Opened the very small portion to an undercooked congealed mess. Maybe they taste better than they look, um no however the hair didn't help. We also had southern fried potatoes including parts of the scourer used to scrub them.

We were converted to foleys last year and have never had a poor meal. In fact their range and prices are exceptional. We nearly always order on line and our food is always ready swhen we arrive with a lovely smile from their great staff.

Bread roll hard sauce watery 3 pound bag of chips like a kids portion didn't go threw my 3 kids I won't be using here again you got all young infant people serving the price you pay and get nothink

Visited at 5.30 for tea, had the regular cod special, which was dry, cod was chewy and yellow, batter was thick with hardly any cod in there, chips were dry, burnt, like they had been reheated. Will never use again.

I've had 6 or 7 visits to Foleys in the last year or so. It's a lot better than my experiences of it during the 2000s! Food is cooked well and whilst the prices might be slightly high I don't begrudge it because each service has been consistent. It's not the best chippy Kidderminster has ever had, but it's certainly up there in its current state.

Surprisingly awful. Miniscule mini fish, dry and over cooked. It should have been described as micro fish. There would be more meat on a minnow. So sad when this used to be a great chippy

I used to like the food from Foleys theres nothing that makes it stand out from the next chippy and their portions are on the smaller size, the fish is small and the scallops are almost transparent, I understand the increased prices after the refurbishment but fish is now £6.20 and a large chips is £3.60 since lockdown the price of a fish supper have sky rocketed. We are definitely changing chippies so we çan afford a better quality weekly indulgence, and save a few pennies too.

First off I'm not really a chip shop person, this is probably the second time I've been to one this year (written in October), but this is certainly the best I've been to in Kidderminster. I ordered online using the app which was straightforward and then collected from the separate queue for online ordering without an issue. The food (the 3 of us had fish, a pie, chicken pieces and chips) was all high quality and I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Large menu choice offering salads etc. Good value for money. Quick service. Friendly, helpful staff.

My local chipshop and even if it wasnt i would travel to eat here. The staff are always polite and talkative. Customer service is second to none! Food is amazing everytime, never had a bad meal and we have been coming here for over 5 years. Keep up the good work guys :)

Definitely my favourite fish and chip shop in Kidderminster. Always fresh and at a competitive price. Always have really good deals on and offer something different. The staff are lovely and chatty and the place is always really clean too. If you've not tried it yet, go!

Despite being 5 minutes till closing time on New Years Eve, There was a long Queue. The chef went along the line asking who wanted what cooking so we all got piping hot, freshly cooked meals and exactly what we wanted. Needless to say, they were still serving way after closing time. Brilliant service. I'm abandoning my regular chippy in favour or Foley's. As my regular chippy had previously turned their customers away an hour before they were due to close saying they'd stopped cooking ! Beautifully cooked fish into the bargain.

After a terrible lunch at the watermill I needed some wholsome food for tea so I wandered up to Foleys fish bar for some decent fish and chips to fill the gap. Great stuff and a slice of lemon too.

We live in Wales and always come here after going to the Safari park for the day. This place is great. The options are fantastic, as there is so much choice. The place is also extremely clean, and the food standard is always really high. This is a hidden gem that I highly recommend.

This has to be the best fish and chips in the area. They have won awards and it's not hard to see why. Lovely fresh fish and chunky crisp chips. Definitely worth a visit.

The fish was awful and the batter was soggy and under cooked. Definitely would not use again or recommend.

I have been here a couple of times now. It is always packed. The staff are all very friendly and clearly work incredibly hard. Despite the pressure, they remain helpful and work really well to minimise delays. It's a chippy but it's a god one. All of the food is always piping hot and of a high standard. A young lad has served me both times. Not sure of his name but he deserves a special mention for his customer service

This is the best chip shop in Kidderminster never disappoints, sometimes have to cue but well worth the wait. Battered haddock is the best I’ve tasted. So much choice and happy friendly staff.

Nice efficient staff, lovely crispy anf freshh fish an chips wid a wedge of lemon. Well worth the visit and the chomp. top service and food.

Always use Foleys for our fish & chips now. Plenty of choice if you also fancy something different. Lovely and fresh, quick service, clean premises and friendly staff. Very generous portion size👍🏻 Won’t be going anywhere else again.

always fresh food for a quick bite to eat , and very buisy during peak times which shows the quality of food they serve, so if you dont mind the wait , you'll get some great food with very good service to boot .... keep up the good work guys n gals

To call this the best chip shop in Kidderminster is an understatement, easily the best chips I've had in the Midlands, and definitely in the running for the best in the UK.

We recently placed a large order of 27 meals for our Cub pack and can't fault in any way!

So glad this is my local fish and chip shop. Always get service with a smile and never had a bad meal from there, good value for money too.

Have lived near Foleys fish bar for 17 years and never had any complaints good food well cooked, polite friendly staff and clean shop could only ask for a gluten free night as we have an gluten free family member

The food from here is always excellent, I would not choose to have chips from any other in town. I travel from the other side of town to get these chips they taste so good.

Always fresh and good choice of a range of things t enjoy with your chips. Relatively quick service even when busy and open quite late compared to others on the area.

Asked for a cone of chips at £140 and when the assistant put them on the paper there couldn't have been more than 40 chips disgrace in my eyes.. won't be coming here again

Been to this chippie many times and never been disappointed. The food is well cooked and the staff have never been rude but the absolute opposite being only too willing to help. Will recommend.

I can only presume they are now cooking in this new nasty healthier oil....if I wanted healthy I wouldn't go to a chip shop....what ever they are cooking in makes the food taste disgusting.

Eat here quite regularly, staff are very friendly and they are very busy. There is often a queue the length of the place. Chips are always fresh and there is a lot of variety. I recommend the southern fried potatoes they are to die for!

went dinner time today lady that served me was very rude and didn't smile once also chips was white undercooked can't usually fault the place it just puts me off when there is rude staff

Went here last night amazing service had 2 fish large chips and curry sauce we were offered lemon slices with our fish instead of a large curry the lady gave us two small one of each of the curry sauces the food was absolutely fantastic we travel 12 miles to this place the food is always good definitely recommend

Popped in for a quick dinner, had half a chicken, for some reason it had no skin on it, so the meat was ruined and it was overcooked.Service was good and chips were good though

Popped in here on tge way home from ky daughter's. How lucky the people of Kidderminster are to have this amazing chip shop on their doorstep, it is hardly surprising that it is always busy, the owner obviously knows how to cook amazing fish and chips, fabulous haddock with crispy thin batter and lovely chips. I rarely eat fish and chips away from the coast but if this place was on my doorstep I think I would be here on a regular basis.

We have been eating from here for over 5 years now and it might not have the best size portions or the lowest prices but it is consistently good..Good fish, good Donner meat, good curry sauce, crackin chicken curry and chips, just good all round. Enough said.

This is, without doubt, one of the best 'chippies' in the Wyre Forest area. The quality is of a consistent high standard and the friendly service is always a welcome bonus. A fine, well-managed and clean outlet which offers plenty of variety and value for money. The cod is to die for and tastes like it was only caught a few hours ago and the chips are also great - the type of potato used for frying is displayed on a daily basis. Anyone staying or visiting from outside the area wanting take away fish and chips won't be disappointed.

Food is nice and there is good choice, prices are on the high side and the portions are on the small side compared to other fish shops in the area.

The food was delicious chips and fish very tasty. Clean and tidy (always good) also nice to find a place that does a good curry sauce. Only two faults young girls behind the counter very un interested in any kind of customer service and quite pricey. But apart from that very yummy

Consistant quality fish and chips. I've tried many other fish and chip shops in the area, but, always come back to Foley's.The staff are always smiling and they provide a good customer service to all. Prices are not cheap, however, quality does not come cheap.

We had cod and chips in foleys on a recent visit to kidderminster. They were absolutely delicious,so tasty and such a big portion. real value for money; we thoroughly recommend this fish bar for first class food and service.

This is my local chip shop and it is always friendly and the food excellent. The fish is good quality and if you ask for a vegetarian burger they always cook it freshly for you. Portions are very generous so be warned!

We call in here as our chippy of choice in the Kidderminster area.The food is always good from fish and chips through to kebabs. Most importantly it isn't stodgy and bland like many other chippies.The shop itself is always clean and well presented and the staff are always friendly.Recommended :-)
