Flying Egg Cafe in Hillingdon

Visited on a Monday morning prior to flying out. Ordered the English Breakfast with hot tea and Chauffeur Breakfast with coffee. Both were prepared correctly, delicious and filling, price is reasonable with superb service. There is a difference between American and British sausage that may not be to the liking of those not used to local cusine. Would recommend those staying near the airport give this place a try.

Amazing food and service, I would definitely recommend this to everyone. Champions breakfast was excellent, great family environment.

I give them zero.. Very disappointed as they COOK BEEF AND ALL OTHER MEATS AND VEG ON SAME GRIDDLE AND DO NOT TELL ANYONE. We do not have beef due to our religion the menu was not clearly labelled. My son ordered a Builders breakfast but not realising that burger on menu was beef. So when he asked thinking it was sausage he was told it was beef, he requested the food to be remade. I had a breakfast aswell egg, beans, hashbrown, bacon and toast. At no point did the lady say it would make no difference as they use the same griddle. My husband had a tuna sandwich where the filling was hardly visible. My husband asked for more filing and they just put more plain tuna on the top they didn't mix it with mayonnaise as it was done before. When I was leaving I had a thought I would ask if they use the same griddle as the beefs made on, the lady said yes. We asked her that why didn't she tell us ? especially as my son had his food. re done which they did which made no sense as griddle used was the same. Her explanation was that all her customers don't care and most people eat beef. There was no remorse. She was the same religion as me and didn't eat beef either but blatantly lied to get a sale. When I realised what I had eaten I felt physically sick and still do while I am writing this review. This bares the question why do they advise people halal or not but being a sikh did not make us aware of how they cook beef with everything else?Absolutely disgusted as we believe the cow as a sacred animal and regard it the same as a mother. Obviously these people have no morals on this. So Be CAREFUL WHAT YOU EAT, DOUBLE CHECK EVERYTHING IF YOU DO DECIDE TO GO THERE. I FOR ONE WILL NOT BE DOING THAT AGAIN. SAD THAT THEY COULD NOT CLEARLY LABEL THINGS OR BE TRANSPARENT INSTEAD OF LIEING TO GET SALES.

Have been using the flying egg cafe for a while over the years but it seemed to have been having a bad day. There was a mix up with our order and another couples, with an extended wait for our food. The food was very good once it arrived. The cafe seems to have gone downhill and appears to need some TLC.

Had breakfast here this morning. Left my handbag next to our table and it was a good 45 mins before I realised that I had left it. Panic as had passports, phone, cards, everything in it. I returned expecting it to be gone, but the lovely ladies had retrieved it. I offered some money as I was so grateful but this was refused. Amazing staff.

Tried the all day vegetarian breakfast and wasn't disappointed! Conveniently located near Hotels on Bath Road.

I have been using this litle cafe for a few years now and so far not had a bad meal. Mainly used the cafe for brakfast after dropping people off for early flights out of Heathrow. Place is always clean and the staff polite dispitue some customers. Food is cooked to order. Bacon good quality, mushrooms, beans, hash browns and tomato's always cooked nicely. Would prefer a better quality sausage but still tasty.

Says it's open from 7am to 7pm. Came here at 5pm and it's dead close. Please, at least do some effort and update the opening times so you won't waste my time!

Had a vegetarian breakfast here today was not worth the money at all in tbe deal one sausage, one hash brown, beans and one toast for £4.50. It was cooked terrible even tve mushrooms not cooked. Not returning here ever again the women were from india and could not cook. I guess its a new person who brought this cafe. Terrible breakfast.

They operate as The Breakfast Gang on Deliveroo and you should avoid like a plague. Took our order and did not deliver and we called two hours later to excuses and they refused to refund or cancel the order then hung up on us. Very poor service.

Had the best takeaway breakfast today, the food was hot and the eggs cooked perfect. The bacon was cooked crispy and beans extra hot.

The best cafe I have ever been to! I visited this cafe THREE days in a row whilst staying in the area with my partner over the bank holiday weekend. The breakfast was cooked to perfection every single time, I am even craving it now. Delicious halal sausages, delicious turkey bacon and perfectly scrambled eggs. I didn’t have to specify how I wanted my eggs cooked, or the toast which was lightly toasted and buttered to perfection. Everything about this cafe is amazing, down to the service. From now on I’ll be making the 45 minute drive from where I live in Wembley for breakfast - that’s how good it is! I love the fact that they have options for people who don’t eat pork but still eat meat. I do not have to eat as a vegetarian, I can still enjoy a meat breakfast. This is something I haven’t been able to find in the area I live, which is actually very diverse. I have recommended this to a few friends who are going to try it out. Went here based on reviews as a pre-flight stop off for my daughter. I’m sorry to say we were extremely disappointed, service was friendly but they omitted parts of the breakfasts, rectified during the meal, but the important issue here is food quality - or lack of it. There’s nothing worse than cheap sausages and these were cheap, with a low meat content, sausages aren’t expensive and if they are, then please add a £1 to the cost and get quality ingredients. The owners are penny pinching and there’s no need. Additionally the coffee cups are large and full but there’s insufficient coffee or again it’s of poor quality. Please don’t be greedy provide quality food. Not recommended.

I had a big breakfast and was a good breakfast and for 7 quid it was a good start to the day. Also do a veggie breakfast for those pig lovers.

Had a family morning out. Vistied the flying egg cafe in Harlington. What a place. The food is outstanding and the staff are really friendly and welcoming. Can't wait to be back.

Needed to pick my daughter up early from Heathrow but had time to stop here for a breakfast sandwich and a cup of tea first.As sandwiches go there is nothing better than a good hot sausage sandwich, the problem is, mine was nothing like a good hot sausage sandwich. The sausage was one of those dirt cheap "value range" things that you find in a roadside burger van and needs to be smothered in brown sauce to hide the hideous taste. The other problem with these is that they do not hold heat so are always lukewarm.I actually like this place (see previous review) as it is very clean, the staff are great and it is well priced. Just a shame the quality is waning.

Visited the flying egg today. Lovely staff and food was amazing. The atmosphere was the best part. We were so comfortable and ended up staying longer then expected.

I visit this place often as I work close by to it. I am always pleased with the wonderful service the 2 ladies provide and also the quality of the food is always of a good standard. They also have a coffee loyalty program but recently I went in an ordered 3 coffees for us and I was only given one stamp on the loyalty card. New management instruction I was told. One stamp per transaction. This is ridiculous and needs to be changed ASAP, else whats the point?

Used TripAdvisor to find a local cafe for a slap up cooked breakfast. The menu was laid out clearly and concise. You could pick from set cooked breakfast menu or make your breakfast from scratch.

I had been here the 1st time with my sister, really loved the breakfast n the place as well, since its close to where i live, lots to select in terms of what you want to eat, different choices, perfect place to be before heading to work, keep on visiting this place, very nice staff very welcoming.

Ordered an egg sandwich to take-away and after walking 10 mins back to my desk I was more than a little miffed that it only had one egg in it!

Had a few hours to kill before a flight. Came across this cute breakfast place about 10 mins from Heathrow in Harlington. Breakfast plates were tasty. Staff friendly. Not airport prices. Would be 5 star if the tables had waitress service. Note you must pay for parking at a machine outside the cafe.

Come here every week and I couldn’t fault it , great food , great staff and good price ... good food portion size... if you ever in area come here you won’t be disappointed

Open early on Sunday which saved me a hunt for a 24 hr McDonalds and the menu choice was excellent. I had a good sized breakfast for £6 and a reasonable Americano was £2.

Popped in yesterday for breakfast on the way home, warm welcome and good, tasty breakfast.The English breakfast is just enough for the wife and I enjoyed the chauffeur's breakfast with extra toast all washed down with a mug of tea.Very good value for money and will definitely be popping back in the future.

Went to the cafe for breakfast on 2 consecutive mornings whilst staying in a nearby hotel for a rugby weekend at Twickenham. Great couple running the cafe with lovely smiles. It is very clean, good value and a great choice of different foods. Top Breakfast and will defiantly return

This place is simply superb if you want to eat like a local. They have a breakfast called "The Chaffeur" as this is where most of the limo drivers go for breakfast while waiting to pick up their clients arriving at Heathrow. They serve mugs of tea, not cups and freshly squeezed orange juice, not packet!

Friends took me here while we were down for the Rugby - big breakfast ordered to kick off the day. Went here with my wife for english breakfast after reading reviews. Standard english breakfasts are around £6 no coffee/tea included. Ended up costing us around £15 in total. Breakfast only included 1 of everything - hash brown, bacon, sausage, egg & slice of bread along with some baked beans. Food is fresh and good quality but quantity and value for money are average. The one who took our order didn't ask how we'd like our eggs. Also, staff should be a bit more warm & friendly to patrons. It seemed more like the management is only interested in the money they make from customers and don't believe in attracting repeat business. Won't be going again because there are several other places that are much better value for money for breakfasts around the area.

Since I have been working in Harlington I have been to your café many times, but honestly I can say it is the worst Breakfast ever. I have just ordered a Bacon and Sausage roll and it was Horrendous, your meat is the worse meat, I cannot understand how you can charge a fortune for disgusting breakfast, please review where you buy you products and maybe pay a little bit extra for good products than the CRAP!! you sell.

These guys have really tasty English breakfasts! They have some pre-made options and also allow you to change them or make your own. Great if you have strong preference for specific dishes.

Just a quick review here. I found this breakfast cafe- I'm sure they are an all day cafe too- on trip advisor. I was staying around the corner at the Crown Plazaand didn't fancy paying their £16.50 for breakfast.So anyway, parking spot right outside free parking for 30 minutes , perfect test to get breakfast and be gone in 30 mins.I ordered from the board, swapped out one or two items and an orange juice.Food was on the table in 5 minutes, of particular note was the orange juice - freshly squeezed, very nice touch.Food was good breakfast, and I was out the door before my 30 mins parking was up.All in all a good breakfast, fast service and fresh juice for about £8.50 , bargain.Would definitely go again to escape hotel breakfasts.

Since the change of owners... the standard has gone down awfully! Food was cold, had to wait 45 minutes after ordering to receive anything. I had a full English expecting it to be something like a pub breakfast, but how wrong was I. I didn't even feel full as there was just 1 of each item (egg, sausage and hash brown) and a small portion of beans. Does not match the price I paid.

Lovely little breakfast cafe now one of my favourite places to eat when I'm in the Heathrow area great food and friendly service from staff, nice and clean place to enjoy food and not long wait either! lovely place to go with families and children also, daily specials are delicious definitely recommend for lunches and breakfasts too

A decent breakfast in a clean cafe. All sizes of traditional breakfast available. Good service and a good range of rolls paninis etc also on offer. Definitely a good stop if hungry and want a decent breakfast away from the bath road hotel offers.

Great place to have a large, filling breakfast on your way to or from Heathrow.The sausages (pale and chiken meat like) are not the best quality but everything else on the breakfast menu is great.Topic you like ketchup, do t use the dates in the table but pick one of the sachets from the counter.

We wanted a place where we could get a good hot breakfast before going to Heathrow. The Flying Egg Cafe hit the spot! Since there were four vegetarians in our group, we were pleased to find a non-meat "sausage" as an option. It's more potato than it is sausage, but it is quite good. The prices are not rock bottom, but certainly very fair for the generous portions of everything. All in all, they do a very good job here.

The place is good for a breakfast, although we went there around 3pm, when we still had a great lunch with dishes recommended by chef. Prices are ok, and the most of dishes are around 5 pounds. If you are around Hithrow, don't hesitate.

Visited this restaurant on Monday 4th April 2016 at 9am. We ordered a full breakfast, poached Egg on Toast, 2 X Sausage Barm, 1 coffee, 3 Fresh Orange. Price was £22 which is probably fair. However... £2.75 for a fresh orange! Come off it! Get real! All in all the food was lovely.

One of the best breakfasts that we had during our week in England: It was generous, well prepared, hot, and authentic. There was some weird "art" on the walls (a poster from Pulp Fiction with its two stars, armed, aiming their guns into the restaurant?), but the counter and table service was excellent.

Conclusion :Clean and convenient location.Very expensive for what you get (very tiny small portions) and I'm not a big eater.Food taste was ok but nothing wow.Coffee was crap don't even bother.Had to pay for 3 coffees because the girl doesn't understand the difference between flat white and Americano.Finally, definitely agree with the previous negative reviews. The staff are not friendly at all. Attitude and argumentative.The owner needs to work on the portions offered and the customer service provided.

After missing breakfast at our hotel and having a 3 hour journey ahead of us(2 kids) and me, we needed to eat!!Came across this little gem and I'm so pleased we did. It was perfect and just what we needed. After returning from 2 weeks in LA, it was nice to have a good old English breakfast with lovely bacon. I can't fault this place at all, it really is a gem and one I will return to if I'm ever that way again.:)

Visited this little cafe several times over the past few years. Whilst more of a locals cafe its ideally situated only a short walk from many of the heathrow hotels and the prices are far nore respectable. Consistently good, freshly cooked food and good menu choice makes this place an ideal alternative to the hotel breakfast.

My husband and I were in London for a few days. Our motel was in walking distance from this restaurant so we ate breakfast there every morning. Our waitress was so kind and friendly. She gave us tips on how to take the tubes to a shopping center and how to get to Heathrow for free. She made a difference in our first viist to London.

Called here today at 0630am after dropping friends at Heathrow. I had a 3 hr journey home and wanted a good breakfast to set me up. The staff were pleasant and helpfull, the place was clean and tidy and the food was excelllent. I could not have wanted for better, and all at a very reasonable price. This cafe is one of the best I have ever eaten from. As I work nearby I eat here every day and I have not once had an upset stomach. They are clean and the food is ALWAYS fresh, unlike some place!

Having stayed at the Arora Heathrow hotel we were not going to pay 15.95 for breakfast, so we found this great cafe just down the road. After reading the reviews we decided to give it a try, and we were not disappointed. We had the chauffeur breakfast for £5.20 and it was great value for money and really tasty, also the service was fantastic thank you.

Recently, i revisited the flying egg cafe and it still lived up to my standard. The food was still great and i really appreciated it. I also still think that it is great for eveyone for buisness or for a family lunch or breakfast. Thanks to all the staff for making me feel welcome once again.

My summary on the flying egg cafe is definitly excellent and im very happy with the service and the food. I was well respected as the customer and the dood was at my standards. I recommend this cafe if your rushing to get to heathrow airport and just want to pop in for a filling appetising breakfastthank you to all at the flying egg

The food is okay and is served quickly as the coffee is. The big bonus of the place are the people who work there and thanks to them I see the Egg as with positive vibrations, very friendly and welcoming. I also like the interior which is bright and with just the right portion of originality Not the typical coffee chain/ restaurant inside. That’s why I like the Flying g Egg and I am the regular there.

I have been eating here for 3 years when I am in the healthrow area, and under the manager Monica food has much I proved, staff are polite and helpful. Also catering to office buffet is very good.

Firstly, Harlington High Street doesn't resemble a typical suburban high street. It's merely a smattering of a few shops on a side road off the A4 right beside Heathrow. Consequently, it's a thoroughfare for cabs so an ideal spot for a decent greasy spoon, coffee joint, or deli.This place tries to be all of the above buts fails. This decor at this joint gives the impression of being a deli minus all the sandwiches and rolls on display. I stopped by one morning for a takeaway bacon and egg sarnie and coffee. By the time the sandwich arrived twelve minutes later I'd mostly consumed the mediocre (at best) coffee and had only a couple of remaining minutes to get moving onto my next booked job. I don't know about anybody else if a sandwich that takes that amount of time to make I expect it to be quite spectacular! Needless to say, it wasn't. A barely adequate portion of thin bacon with a fried egg (hard pale yolk) in between medium white sliced. The only consolation was that the rind and fat had been removed.In short, I could have paid less for a proper builders' bacon and egg sarnie on fresh doorstep sliced bread at the greasy spoon a bit further away, which is not an issue if driving especially given the amount of time I had to wait! I like a decent builder's cafe, and I also like a decent deli. This place is neither. It can only be summarised as a place to stop (it's not particularly good for that either as parking is limited) to grab a hot drink, which also serves food, but only do so if you've got time on your hands. However, if you have the latter then you'd probably go elsewhere! In other words, don't bother!

We have lived in harlington for the last 10 years and have often used the flying egg cafe not been here for a few months we thought we would come along today well I really wish we hadn't the lady serving us was rude and very unhelpful and having payed £15:10 for what we got even to eat was UTTER CRAP will not be going back there again

There is no cafe like the flying egg Cafe I recommend it 100% and it is very affordable and the food is delicious the staff were very welcoming, there was a wide variety of food that my whole family enjoyed very much I will definitely come very often

OK, it looks like it should be an airport taxi "greasy spoon", but decent food (and lots of it), fairly priced with good coffee makes it stand out. Beautifully clean, with friendly service. Lunch was just over a fiver with a can of Coke, and although the cottage pie was a bit light on meat there were tons of peas - and not overcooked - and well done chips. I had the Xmas dinner last December and that was good too. A nice change from the usual transport caff.
