A fairly uninspiring small shopping complex.

The Food at The Fox was good and waiting staff friendly. We booked for 7.15pm and eventually got starters at 8.45pm then another long wait for mains. We were told they had a large party in another room and were fully booked. They did remove first round of drinks from bill but eating so late ruined our evening. We skipped dessert and coffee and headed home. Feedback to Fox don’t overbook if your kitchen can cope with the volume.

Visited the Hilly House today, had great service and amazing encounters with a staff member named Tom, so friendly and polite would definitely recommend for a quick pint, or even a meal as their food is superb and made fresh while you wait. Tom took my order, and answered every question I had, couldn’t have had a nicer experience. Loved it

Miserable staff. No greeting at all. I politely asked for a flat white to take away. When my drink was ready, it was slid across the bar and I was told “there you go”. The flat white itself was more like a cappuccino with thick, foamy textured milk instead of smooth and silky microfoam, and too hot. The staff are more interested in gossiping with each other it seems.
