Floriana's Restaurant & Bar in Preston

We booked Floriana's, for a special birthday party. From the initial look round to the organisation and food we were treated really well. Even last minute changes were no trouble. Baillie the manager couldn't do enough for us and made us really welcome. I have had friends and family saying how great it was. The area at the top of the building with a pool table was popular for those who didn't want to dance and wanted to talk.

Food was cold when it arrived and we waited a long time for it. They were not overly busy yet the staff stood around chatting. Awful customer service. Food was average and does not reflect the high pricing. Would not go again as there are much better alternatives.

Really friendly staff who were very helpful with choosing drinks. Great 2 for £10 deal on cocktails / spirits which was great for a weekend evening! The interior is lovely and we had a great night at Florianas.

We had our wedding reception at Floriana's and it was absolutely amazing! We got to visit the venue the day before and it already looked better than we had anticipated. On the day, the staff was really attentive and helpful and made us feel really special. Everyone had so much fun and the grazing table they prepared was amazing! From the decoration, to the music, to the prosecco reception, everything was absolutely fantastic. A huge thanks to all the staff for making our day so much more special.

Could not recommend Florianas enough. We hired the venue for a private Baby Shower, with only a weeks notice due to our original venue having to cancel. We visited the venue a few days before to scope out the size of the room. The entire team were accommodating from start to finish, and allowed us access to the venue early on the Sunday morning to set up. A huge thank you to Naomi and the team for such a wonderful day, and also for the photos captured throughout the day. We will definitely be returning!

Went in for drink with Wife. We've also eaten hear previously as a group (bottomless brunch). Very nice and cosy environment. Very friendly attentive staff. Good 2-4-10 cocktail promo. Minor glitch (but overlooked by me personally) not a great range of beer/ale/lager... just 3 IPA on tap. I did discuss this with bar tender and he let me sample them all... so no huge grumble.... just get a few more in please!!! : )

Was looking forward to this but was disappointed to be honest. Lovely place,service between courses was slow, even though it wasn’t busy. The actual meals were small, prawn cocktail was frozen prawns the smallest I’ve ever seen, my main ,salmon was good but that’s it, and my dessert of Christmas log,WELL, talk about underwhelmed! It was like a shop bought Swiss roll and tiny! Good job the company I was in made the night, because the food certainly didn’t, sorry 😞

We were booked in for 6 people on a Friday evening in December for a work Christmas meal. Unfortunately days before our meal one of our guests had an accident and ended up on crutches. She contacted the restaurant on the day via social media to ask if she would be able to get to the table. The restaurant explained that to access the tables you had to climb some stairs. She did not reply to the message. We subsequently called and asked if there was nothing that could be done and we were told there were a couple of tables in essentially what is the bar/waiting area but it was by the door so could get quite cold and it wasn't with the other diners. We told them to leave our table as it was and our the lady on the crutches did not come as she did not feel comfortable with the accessibility arrangements. When we got to the restaurant we were shown a table on it's own by the door. We explained again that we wanted our table in the restaurant and the lady on the crutches was not coming so we did not need to be sat there. At no point had we requested that our table be moved. We were then told that our table wasn't available any more as it had been given to a 'walk in' and no table would be available for over 2 hours. We were offered a bottle of Prosecco as an apology but ultimately we were sat on our own in a waiting area which was cold and they had clearly seen the opportunity to make extra money at our expense and gave our table away. We had two ladies serving us who were friendly. The food unfortunately was average. We had some sour dough garlic bread whilst waiting for our meals which was literally french stick with a bit of garlic butter. The starters were very small and basic. We understood that it was the Christmas menu but for the amount being charged it really wasn't great. Four out of five of our party had steak as main courses. They all came and were cooked the same despite us asking for a range from rare to medium well. We ate them as we did not want to wait for the food to be cooked again. The desserts again were pretty basic. The chocolate yule log was very dry and looked like it had been bought in. To top it off when our bill arrived they had not deducted our deposit which we had paid. All in all very disappointing, Maybe the food is better when it is not the Christmas menu and the service is better when it isn't as busy but we won't be rushing back.

Booked our work Christmas party/dinner here last night. There were 10 of us but nobody had been before so we weren’t sure what to expect….but it was wonderful. The food was lovely, lots of choices and all beautifully presented and cooked. The Christmas pudding with brandy sauce was the best I’ve ever tasted! Excellent service throughout - 2 very attentive staff who made sure we were well looked after. Can’t fault anything really and we ALL said we’d go back so that’s a pretty strong recommendation

Decided to book my wife's 40th birthday at Florianas and dealt with Niaomi the owner. Nothing was too much trouble and made the whole experience effortless. She personally looked after us on the night which went seamlessly and the quality of food was exceptional and delicious. Everyone had a great time and we even enjoyed some cocktails as we didn't want to leave. Would highly recommend. Perfect 10/10 !!!

Went for an impromptu lunch and firstly began with a pint of honeycomb ale - cracking start! Onto the food - as they are small plates we just got 4 and some chips between 2 men. Unfortunately the portions are pretty small and the food was just ok. Not good value for money but hey the beer was good!

Popped in for an impromptu lunch and sadly we left left feeling disappointed. The ambiance/ decor is lovely and service was good but sadly the food did not live up to expectations. The small plates were definitely on the small side and expensive for what you actually got. The turkey sliders were on the dry side, the garlic bread was overpowering for my taste and the gambas pil pil were served on bread and not in the usual garlic/ chilli oil. On the up side the pigs in blankets were tasty, the thick cut chips helped fill us up and the honeycomb beer was excellent. At a shade over £40 I expected more.

First time visit for a Christmas party - we won’t be going again. The Christmas menu seems quite reasonably priced however the portion sizes are far too small. We all left there feeling hungry even after 3 courses - thank god for the nearby takeaways. The drinks service is very very slow, the food portions too small and not hot, and the beef on the Christmas menu is extremely tough. The live music duet were very good.

Second time I have visited. Wednesday evening and only us three in early doors. We ordered a bottle of wine between two and hubby had tab beer. We had fishcake, mini sausages with mustard mayo and gambas pil.pil for starters. Rib eye steak ordered with garlic butter sauce but pepper sauce served....didn't complain though as it was nice, vegan Thai curry and beef cheeks for main course. The beef cheeks were a HUGE portion and fell apart, very tasty but didn't like the warm red cabbage, not to my taste and the pomme puree was more like crushed potatoes than mash, but didn't deter from the meal Two of us had dessert, lemon posset thoroughly enjoyed and creme brulee also, though a bit too thick in texture for my liking. Three courses for £29.95. Total bil £121

We heard the good reviews and I had booked in advance as we were going with friends who we hadn’t seen in a while. Booked the table for 8.30pm and we were shown to the table and asked if we would like some tap water, this didn’t arrive,, until we had to ask again,, . Took our order and the drinks eventually arrived however the food was very late to arrive and it was 10pm and the main course still hadn’t made an appearance..The table next to us had just got there’s so we again asked where our meals were…. By this time the table next to us called the waiter as their food wasn’t at all palatable and they left it. We then decided we were not prepared to wait any longer and called the waiter over,, she agreed to take the main courses off the bill… considering we hadn’t received any this was a hollow offer,,, we were given the bottle of wine but this again didn’t compensate for the fact we were hungry and it was 10pm ,,,, !,, Very,,, very disappointing and ruined our evening ,,,,,

Beautiful restaurant. Visited today for sunday roast and it was just the best. Had gambas pil pil beef roast dinner and chocolate brownie. The owner was lovely and as my husband said the beer was nice he brought us some honeycomb beer to try. Lovely waitress and great service and a big shout out to the chef as it was one of the tastiest well presented meals i have had for a while. We will definitely return. Thankyou
