Flash House Brewing Co. in North Tyneside

Usually we love this place but tonight it was full of (literally) screaming children! I don't have a problem with well behaved kids in bars but these were running all over the place whilst the parents ignored them and chatted!

Fantastic hidden gem, on the back streets of north shields right off the fish quay. Well worth a visit, fantastic atmosphere with some great brews ready to be experienced. Live music and pub quizzes on Fridays. Staff are so friendly and helpful, not sure what you want, they are happy for you to try to make sure you are getting the right drink. Indoor and outdoor searing, all made from barrels and benches, real rustic feel. While there is a steep ramp it is wheelchair accessible and there are stairs if you would prefer. The open front means during winter it can be chilly but the venue thinks of everything, from the warm ambient lighting of strung up fairy lights, to the basket of blankets to choose from to warm you on the cooler evenings. Well worth a visit, it won't be a one off, you will want to return.

As with all local tap houses, the beer is fresh and tasty. A great place to for real beer.

Called in for a pint after the GNR, what a lovely warm welcome. Helpful pointers on what beer to go for and as we’d just done the run, the first round was free. What a great gesture. We’ll be back for sure!

Well this tap room bar is great. They way they have done the bar out is amazing. Love the fairy lights and just the general look of the place. The beer is there own and Definitely the second best bar on the fish quay. I will be back for sure. However it would be good maybe to see some more guest beers on. Maybe Some big hitters would be class.

Amazing little bar & brewery with a great range of local ales. Staff are knowledgeable & super friendly. There’s always a belting playlist on which contributes to a cracking atmosphere. It’s a great place to meet & begin a crawl on the fish quay. Highly recommended 🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺

Cracking beer, and amazing staff

Lovely wee place with nice beers and friendly folk. I've been here loads of times and never had a problem, bit cold in the winter but they provide blankets which are actually cleaned! Tiny Dancer is cracking and Martians on the Tyne is great. They often have food available but check social media first!

Come here all the time. Love the atmosphere and how friendly the staff are. Great beer and selection of board games. They are also very welcoming to dogs and that's great!

We love the Flash House! We live around the corner, so this is very local to us. They've built something special here from practically nothing and now have a really impressive range of proper beers. This is without one of the best kept secrets in North Shields/Tynemouth. When they have good food on, it's pretty much perfect. If you like real ales, you definitely need to pay them a visit.

Just wow!!!! My favourite beer maker has created something quite unique in North Shields. Great atmosphere and great people. Went for the beer but will be back for the beer, tacos and atmosphere.

Locally owned brewery with tap room open every Saturday. Great selection of beers on draught and in cans (can also take away). Tiny Dancer seems to be a winner 😊 G&Ts also available if anyone in the group isn't a beer fan. Tap room very relaxed and casual space with outside seating in the summer too. Mexican food also courtesy of Lobo Rojo. Lovely friendly staff, will offer a taster of any beers if you're not sure. It's just great!
