INCREDIBLE sushi ever in North East ! We eat sushi only in Sushi Yummy , it’s always fresh and delicious, the hygiene is on the top level . Cozy atmosphere ! A big shout to Chebureki which is quite new in the menu , you won’t regret !

I recently visited this amazing sushi restaurant and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. The food was incredibly tasty and fresh, and the presentation was impeccable. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for my family and I to enjoy our meal. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be returning in the near future. Thank you to the team for such a delightful experience!

The sushi is terrible. In the summer we ordered 2 servings of hot sushi + Sushi mix 4 portions. Collection from 34 Spence Terrace, North Shields, NE29 0JE. We threw away all the sushi because it was impossible to eat.

We came across this place in North Shields and decided to try it. We’ve been to nice sushi places before so we probably weren’t expecting anything fantastic from this place but still wanted to give it a chance. Ordered the 32 pieces sushi set and wow it was so good. Everything tasted like the good sushi places we’ve been to in the past. Very tasty, very satiating. If you’re a lover of sushi, definitely give this place a go. I truly recommend it.

Eaten a lot of sushi before but the rainbow roll was the best I’ve had. Vegetarian sushi burger was excellent too. Definitely be back.

Just tried the new venue at the Fish Quay. Sushi hot dog was incredible & cocktails were fab. Really good price for fantastic food, drinks & friendly service.

I must admit after reading the reviews I was excited to visit. However after having the chicken noodles which appeared to be precooked breaded chicken that was hard and cold and the same dry chicken on the baos. I dare say it was medicore and chicken even if shop bought would have been better prepared fresh. The noodles were very simple and it would have been nicer to have some shiitake mushroom and bean sprouts would have made as nice addition, and perhaps if instead of peri peri sauce it would have been nicer to have a more authentic sauce such as Sriracha or teriyaki, and a poached chicken would have added moisture. The staff are incredible polite and friendly and the atmosphere is very welcoming. The cocktails and the sushi looks amazing. Unfortunately I was a little underwhelmed with the food.

Wonderful restaurant, both for sitting in and takeaway. Quality food with amazing customer service.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Staff were so friendly and there’s even a small children’s area with toys and cushions. Definitely recommend!

Just delicious! Nigiri and gunkan were enormous but tasty - rice was nicw and hydrated, tempura prawn roll was mine and my partners favourite! Salmon hot baked roll was really unique - I’ve not had it before but glad I tried it. Partner had the burger and enjoyed every bit of it. Even the chips were nice and hot and well seasoned. Will visit with family again. Had a lovely little kids corner with books and a table - cutest little place.

We got 2 x chicken noodles to share between 3 of us. The portions are huge. One serving was enough,very tasty. The couple serving are very helpful and friendly

I love Sushi Yammi! I've ordered from here so many times since they opened and the sushi is spot on every time. It's affordable and the delivery is always super fast and on time.

Average. Noddles are nice. Sushi very expensive for what it is. Was expecting a premium product for the price

I'm so glad that in North Shields finally we have place where to go for sushi! Went here today I was met by lovely staff, helped me with the choice 😀 The set I chose was amazing ate it in one go! Highly recommend 👌 definitely will be back again!!!

Popped in for the first time last night, greeted by lovely staff on arrival. Bought the £32 sushi set and some salmon Maki (meal enough for 2). Was advised a 15 min wait whilst it was freshly prepared. All of it was absolutely delicious! Slightly ‘Americanised’ and very high quality - can’t wait to get more!

My favourite sushi place. Absolutely delicious sushi, affordable price and great service. I love how the cafe is family friendly and has a kids corner with plenty of toys to keep the lil ones entertained while parents enjoy the food 😁
