Flamingos Coffee House in Leeds

Mi pareja me trajo aquí por primera vez hace aproximadamente un año proclamando que era su cafetería favorita y después de ir solo una vez pude ver por qué! El personal es muy amable, servicial y en general increíble en su trabajo. La selección de comida y bebidas saben delicioso y están muy bien presentados, lo que ha mantenido tanto yo como mi pareja volviendo desde entonces. Además, la decoración es tan acogedora, que a menudo me encuentro perdiendo la noción del tiempo allí cuando juro que voy a cortar en. 10 / 10 café, sin duda va a volver < 3

Gran ambiente frío y una decoración única fuera de los caminos trillados de la zona comercial. La comida era preciosa - salmón ahumado y queso crema en tostadas de masa madre. Muy rico y sabroso café. El servidor era encantador. Definitivamente volviendo allí.

This place is the cutest cafe I went in while visiting Leeds ☺️🫶 The staff member that was serving on the 16th of feb was so nice and friendly!! You have to visit it's a must !!

We’ve been supporting this cafe as a small, inclusive business for some time now, but I’m going to feel less and less welcome every time we go in. Awkward, passive aggressive ‘service’ (being ignored and left to clear the table ourselves as the staff stand and watch is utterly bizarre).

Gorgeous little cafe in the centre of Leeds, perfect for those seeking that little bit of calm amidst all the chaos. I had a ruby hot chocolate which was a real treat. It was pink, as I should have expected, with it being called The Flamingo, and it made for a real change to the bog standard hot chocolate. My sister and I also had a vegan brownie, while my mum enjoyed a coffee and toasted tea cake. The toilet here was well equipped and exciting, with a pink toilet seat and plenty of sanitary products to choose from. The world's your oyster in there!

Handily located coffee shop with a lovely atmosphere, great coffee and amazing cakes. As so often in Yorkshire, one cake portion is enough for two.

Burnt toast - when I complained I was told off for not mentioning it earlier (hidden by the eggs) and she told me she'd have eaten it. I can forgive a cooking mistake but not her attitude, must try harder

One of the nicest lattes I’ve had. Very friendly staff and a lovely little place to be. Very comfortable.

What an amazing little gem of a shop. They didn't have what I wanted on the menu but the owner went out and bought what I wanted. Staff were super friendly. Will definitely return. Food was lovely too

We have visited this cafe on several occasions recently and it doesn't seem to matter who is working, the staff all know how to make excellent drinks. This is now officially my favourite place to get a mocha in Leeds.

Great coffee (using North Star coffee which is really special), and the cakes were delicious! Staff were lovely too, so we will definitely be back.

i went in and ordered some food and a coffee that were absolutely stunning. the person that served me was great, though they looked very stressed. another member of staff came in (presumably the manager) and started berating the staff working, telling them he wasn't happy with their service and how messy and disorganised the shop was. i just thought it was unprofessional to start having a go at the staff there. as someone working in the food industry i can only imagine how embarrassed and stressed the staff were. hopefully the manager gets fired or learns how to be nicer to his staff!

I really want to like Flamingos Cafe more than I do. I’ve been a few times now and, despite decent coffee and sound food - the customer service remains poor. The coffee is very very good - a lot better than most other coffee shops I’ve visited in Leeds. Similarly, the food is good - a variety of sandwiches and other options and a great selection of cakes and pastries. The atmosphere is a bit bland and the place isn’t the comfiest - it could do with some sofas rather than the hard chairs. But it’s the service that pulls the place down. The person serving me was clearly more interested in having a conversation with the people sat on the table next to me. And, when it came to paying, I was told that the card machine was ready - nothing more. No thank you, no bye, no see you again… nothing. It was actually embarrassing. Great coffee and good food mean nothing if the service is poor. A shame.

Was passing by and popped in, had a coffee and sweet treat, both was great actually but the customer service sucked. Showed 0% in serving me, then was rude when I asked for confirmation of the prices before my order. Rolled eyes at me when I was counting my change to pay to give the exact money instead of paying with a £20 note.

Always so welcoming and with the most amazing food. Quick service with delicious ingredients and dishes, honestly the tastiest vegan stuff I’ve had in a while. Cant think of where to go? Flamingo Coffee House.

The cafe has a great selection of hot drinks and sweet treats at reasonable prices. The service was quick and the cafe is clean and nicely decorated. I will be visiting again soon to sample more of their homemade cakes!

Me and my friend visited for a light lunch and drink, the young man was very attentive and brought us the sandwich board , I wanted to try something a bit different from the ordinary ham sandwich etc, so I opted for the avacado, feta and chilli sandwich, my friend played it safe and ordered the ham & pickle, the guy took our sandwich order away and brought our drinks, by the time our lunch arrived we had already had our coffee/ tea!. Nevertheless we tucked into our sandwiches, very tasty but have to say a bit disappointed with the portion, 2 sandwiches with more rocket lettuce than you could imagine, the bread was nice, but the crust on it was very hard and even with a knife and fork.. Nice quirky place with homemade cakes/ buns etc.. but a bit too expensive for what you get in my opinion
