Fuming food was beyond cold waste of money looked like it was picked up from the pavement outside got told just eat will refund that's rubbish had to use another take away if ypu want to wait over hour and half use these

From the shrophire star newspaper Shrewsbury takeaway slapped with one star food hygiene rating A takeaway restaurant near Shrewsbury has been told major improvement is necessary after receiving a one-star food hygiene rating. A Freedom of Information request shows there was no hand washing taking place while workers placed raw beef burgers onto the grill at Flames Kebab and Pizza. The food business operator was also alleged to have worn a black jacket when handling and cooking foods, and not a clean apron and chef tunic. Other issues that the inspector found at the Meole Brace site on November 27 include: Frozen chicken nuggets and marinade chicken stored inside the upright freezer had no stock management system in place to denote when the product was frozen or to be used. In addition, they were uncovered in unlidded plastic containers which was open to contamination risks. No stock control system in place for food prepared on the premises

Atmosphere was horrible whilst waiting for food no one spoke or smiled. They dropped food on the floor and instead of it going in the bin they used it. Over priced for what it is. Couple customers walked out wish ud of done the same.

Really good quality food and brought it after ordering it at literally closing time! :)

So I order food because because the delivery company says there open and Google says there open. No there closed, and have to wait up to five days to get my money returned. If your closed, please put it on the website. Won't be trying this place again

Ordered 1/2lb cheese burger meal, with chips and 7up. Meal came withoutnthr cheese ( in the burger), and no csn of 7up. They dont answer the phone either when you try to address the issue.

Used them twice before for pick- up with few problems. However, ordered online tonight and what a farce that turned out to be. Ordered on their own website at 8pm. Phoned at 8.53 to ask where the food was and was told, ‘We’re busy, it’ll be with you in a minute.’ Started calling back at 9.15, called over 40 times, no answer. Food arrived 10.20, 2hrs 20 after ordering. Really poor service.

I ordered and online delivery to the hospital. They said have to make an order online. Their website is very well organised and asks you for each individual thing such as which sauces, the amount of salad and how much of each salad(cucumber, tomato, etc) but what the point of have such organised website when they don’t even care to look at the order details. Ordered rice with kofta and kebabs, and i told them specifically to add extra sauces in on the notes( I can’t eat dry food) turned up with the food without any sauce at all with just lettuce when i had chosen other salad options which they completely disregarded. Had no sauces at all on the meals and to make matters even worse they forgot to include my drink in the order. Called them up they said will refund you for the drink but no refund was made. Disgusting Service

They make the chicken doner themselves so it's good. They also make their own chilli sauce and the salads fresh. Portion are large. Price is a bit high but overall it's very good.

Absolutely shocking, couldn’t even communicate with us & our address & hung up after ordering £25 worth of food!

£5.80 for a tiny box of chips and jelly gravy which I waited 20minutes for in store. Never again! Just for context. My local chip shop I can get pie chips and gravy for cheaper than what I paid for a burger box full of chips. Shocking!

£9.50 for mixed meat and chips which would of been dear enough but to forget the meat ! By the time got home not worth the drive back ! Rang up and told I was being sarcastic! Then put phone down unbelievable service enjoyed the chips and chilli sauce well done guys won’t be back

We were big fans of this place but received a really poor delivery which has put us off from ordering again - no stuffed crust or toppings on our pizzas despite being charged for them, chips were cold and staff at the shop had given the wrong door number to the delivery driver, luckily we saw them knocking at another house otherwise we may not have received our order at all.

Ordered a mixed kebab meat was very good and chilli sauce was fantastic

Portions have rapidly shrunk whilst prices have shot up, quality is hit and miss. The staff talk in Turkish to each other whilst dealing with you so makes you feel awkward, excluded and left wondering if they're taking badly about you. Was initially a fan but won't be going back again.

The food is great and I love the banter. Good staff and good food, that's what I want from my local takeaway!

Delivery was 2 hours late, all they had to say was it’s on the way and when it arrived it was stone cold, terrible customer service and will never use again

Absolute bloody disgrace I ordered my meal on just eat and that was a waste of my money. They messed up the order completely it was missing my wife's beef and lamb burger. My pizza was delivered Absolutely freezing cold, the chips was stale and darn right cold. It looks like our order had been ransacked. We want a refund ASAP

Worst pizza all over the uk. And worst and greedy service. I ask for just one extra dip and he charged me 2 pounds for just one chilli dip🤮

I was not saved , I was given back cash but I had paid with my card . The guy simply said he doesn’t want to serve me because he didn’t understand me I said I want salt but he said I said sauce and as I was explaining he served someone else who had came after me and said he can’t serve me , humiliated me in front of people and gave me coins.

Great Kebab Shop!!! Best in Shrewsbury!! A regular for us now, tasty and quick! A wonderful varied menu with falafels, kebabs of all kinds, pizzas of all kinds, burgers single or double! Give them a try!

Wow, the best tasting kebab shop in Shrewsbury, Stuff is very friendly. I've been offered a glass of Turkish tea and some amazing tasting Baklava. Definitely coming back.If anyone wants a Proper kebab then just try this shop in Shrewsbury...WOW...U SHOULD NAME THIS PLACE GRATE FLAMES KEBAB.

Credit where credit is due!!! Every time we order food it is always amazing.. We can not fault this take away and far the best in town by a long way. No need to look or order anywhere else in my opinion.

Ordered at 7:15, by 8:30 rung and was told its on its way, 8:50 rung again and said he will contact driver and get back to me, 9:05 the food comes stone cold and when I opened the door back up to get the driver to take food back, he was running to the car to drive off and ignored me, rung the shop twice after and no answer. Chicken tasted like it had been out for hours, pizza chips and wrap were stone cold.
