This establishment should be avoided. The staff demonstrated an unprofessional demeanor and attempted to overcharge me. Additionally, they sought to charge for salad and sauces. Their behavior was characterized by arrogance. Furthermore, a £1 surcharge was imposed for dining on the premises. Regrettably, the food lacked any discernible flavor.

Delicious and fresh food. Short wait and quick service. Very casual place not for anyone looking for fine dining. Very budget friendly.

Nans & rotis from here are top notch. They actually use a tandoor vs alot of other places that now use machines. The only other thing i've tried are their Sheekh Kebabs. To be honest, out of this world. Some of the best chicken sheekh kebab in Birmingham. Really underrated. Inside looks dingy & more of a taxi driver or old uncle spot. Order for takeout!

Waste of money and waste of time

5 years ago I rated this place 5 Stars. Today I'd rate it 10 if I could. This is Birmingham's Hidden Gem. It serves the most authentic pakistani food ever. The atmosphere and culture is non corporate and so relaxed. I will be coming here more regularly!!!

Me and a friend of mine were regular customers there. However, last time, we were provided with food that we did not order, and it was extremely expensive. We believe that we were ripped off. I'm not sure we are going to go back.

Quite embarrassing as we're regular customers but today the food was just lacking. The mix grill was burnt and dry and the curry had no chicken just bones and to add to it was a piece of wrapping in the food. Quality has gone down wouldn't recommend.

The staff in this shop is very rude especially the man with pony tail a customer asked if he can read his prayer he denied him access and told him go across the road very bad attitude money is not everything fix ups .

Bought food from here today and not only was I overcharged by £1 the meat was undercooked. It was an empty shop so you have no excuse for this.

This place's decor is like stepping into the back streets of Bombay or Lahore additionally the clientele seems to be waiting for an immigration interview, however if you come for food it's brilliant no thrills just what you need and just cheap and cheerful. Be careful of the beggars outside.

Don't know where to start with this place here ! don't even bother coming here imagine paying for two masala fishes and it being dry and salty and cold . With a special hair beard on top . Nasty . I went back to complain as hygiene is not it and I want a refund for this and the worker put his fingers in my food ate from it and said its fine and told me to go . He is not even wearing gloves nor beard nest . I've never ever had hair in my food from any place besides this place here. AVOID !!!

Guy with pony tail and hair tied back rude and has no manners on how to speak to people. Toilets are disgusting. Staff sitting behind counter and on top of fridges chatting and drinking tea. Naan bread and rotis made way ahead of time and kept warm on the back near the tandoor. Naan bread i ordered with my sheekh kebabs was cold every time i went there. Charged 30p for sauces which barley had anything in them. Come on guys sauces on the side is not a big deal stop penny pinching and work on ur food quality and hygiene. Sheekh kebabs are ok. Guys its 2023 move with the times ur not in Pakistan anymore.

Quality food, service & prices! (Recommend the meat balti)

The only credible place to eat in night time in Sparkhill is Flame Restaurant. The way Mr Rehman greet you into the place is unmatched. Quality food & quick service with delightful dishes, thats the benchmark of this place. Mr Riyasat & Mr Shahbaz are the other friendly staff who look after you with care. I love to go back again & again. Love & respect !!!

Been going there with my work staff once a week all the food is fresh on the day and decent prices.

Really horrible, rude man (wears a black skull cap and has a short, grey beard). Absolutely zero level of customer service. Replies questions with just a grunt. Has a mouth of a sailor(swears a lot in his Mirpuri/Pakistani language) Avoid this hellish place!

Don’t bother. Few times now the owner and his workers give fake notes when changing transactions. First few times I didn’t realise. Last few days ago I went back. They remembered me and my order but denied giving me a note in any case. Yet I seen the guy lift his wod of money and give me a fake note from the bottom. Not that you’d go out your way to do this. Guy behind the counter have no hygiene at all .one day was eating there and he wes grooming his hair and beard next to curry counter and I feel sick and have to stop eating my food.and have to leave the place .so dirty and unhealthy.that man need to removed from the counter.

Terrible phone manners, the man who took my phone couldn’t understand basic English it was very frustrating he kept repeating an incorrect order, I told the guy who took my order to not make anything until I come in and choose. Instead on arrival into the takeaway I was approached with utter rudeness the guy would refuse to change an incorrect order, never again!! Walked out.

Bought katlama's and chicken pakoras for the first time from here to have at iftaar. Unfortunately will never be ordering from here again. The katlama's were rock hard when heated as clearly had been made days before. But the worst were the chicken pakoras which was quite literally raw on the inside. Did try to call to speak to the manager but he was busy understandably as it was iftaar time but that's a serious food poisoning risk I would not like to take.

Very nice and economical and staff is very co operative

My go to spot for late night meals. I prefer their Zinger burger meals. Always ready within 10 mins. The grilled options are very good too but are made to order so expect to wait a little longer, however they are very well seasoned and always taste nice. Staff are welcoming too.

Chicken tikka was 🔥👌. Customer service was also good

The food here is amazing 10/10 quality never been so happy to eat curry in my life the smell and aroma was beautiful as soon as i stepped in. i highly recommend. And the staff member called Abdul he gave me amazing customer service.

i went into this restaurant and the younger son with the name of Abdul Ahad had given me amazing customer service, the food was amazing and perfectly cooked, the fries were perfectly fried to a golden crisp, food was amazing. 10/10

Very disappointed with this place, ordered chicken burger meals and i went to get cash from cashpoint...you need to start taking card payments. Food was ready when i got back after 10mins...when i got home i found that they put chilli sauce and mayo on both the fries and in the burger which was not what i asked for. Why put chilli and mayo on food without asking, they could have just given the tubs and not put this as it was too spicy for my liking Burgers drenched and soggy...ate half the meal as i was starving. Not going back again sorry

Commonly managed restaurant. No enough space for family seating. I tried chicken and mutton krahi in different time, both were realy good in taste. Specially If you order in advance.

Currys are so old it left me on direhea for weeks. The guy with the beard and big mushtash needs to wear a face hair mask aswel for hygiene thought his hairs was going to fall in my curry

Hit and miss with the food chef keeps changing sometimes the food is made by the tea guy (terrible) toilets are a state if working and flies are always hovering over your food sometimes feels like a 3rd world restaurant but the 1 guy thats keeping that place running is REHMAN BHAI .. what a guy 3* because of him. Fantastic habbits and gr8 personality if it wasn't for him that place would be empty...oh not to forget the complementary tea after food from him.
