Flame & Fried in Croydon

This place is a go-to for me and I have never been disappointed! Their food always tastes fresh and the chicken is grilled to perfection; succulent and flavourful. Never change! Thanks also to the wonderful delivery drivers. :)

It's very bad, I don't recommend it at all, they don't care about the customer at all and they are very stingy, they don't deserve the money they take, I bought a chicken burger yesterday and it came out raw and I couldn't eat it, I definitely don't recommend it...

very bad rice(left over and had a bad smell) . couldn't eat it as its been left over probably for days. rice had gone bad

i ordered 2 burgers and there was chicken on the grill the man but the raw burger on the chicken on the grill cross contamination someone who ordered all that chicken can get sick

Placed a large order for the office and called the place to make sure they received the order. They accommodated to us well and the food tasted great.

Unfortunately the food was overcooked, so it didn't taste nice! The chips tested like rubber. After such a long wait I was hoping for nice food but got totally opposite! Won't be ordering again!

We have been here a few times but every time we go here it is different every time for example raw chicken over cooked and oily chips. My friend also went here get get her 3 yrs old son dinner and got raw chicken

The best cheese burger & chips I have had in a very long time!! Chips were nice, skinny & hot!! Burger was made to perfection with the right amount of salad. Will definitely order again.

The barbecue wings which came which we received taste stale and look as if they were left out for a long time and put in a fresh coating. Put us completely off the food. We would like the refund for the wings.

Definitely one of the best peri-peri chicken I've had in a long while. Beautifully flavoured, succulent and fell off the bone nicely. Rice was also wonderfully seasoned, perfectly cooked and good quality. Not the gross par-boiled stuff. Thank you guys, great job :)

Core part of service is listening to the customer. 2nd order in a row that the note on the order was ignored and random pieces of chicken were sent. Wouldn’t order again.

The venue looked nice and clean, the prices was encouraging too but after that the food could have been better a bit. Still decent.

I ordered 2 piece chicken and chips and bbq wings. I usually adore this place but my fries were cold and dry, I got 2 chicken burger fillets instead of chicken pieces and the bbq wings were drowned in a sweet and sauce that didn’t taste anything like bbq. I couldn’t eat any of it. I’m really sorry 😢

Excellent food. We were in croydon for the day and were craving for some fried chicken. Went to flame & fried and had two sets of spicy chicken fillet burger meals, they were mouthwateringly delicious. The staff were super friendly. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.

Dirty place and smells horrible. Once you seat to eat or ordering you leave like had worked in the kitchen.

I was driving around Croydon looking for Halal place. I came across Flame & Fried and I'm glad I went in there. The peri peri wings were perfect. The seasoning was bang on and the quality was fantastic. I know where to go next time I'm in Croydon.

I hate to leave negative reviews but based on my experience I cannot leave any other type of review. I ordered chicken strips and chips and the driver delivered my order without the chips I called to let them know and to ask if they could deliver the missing chips. when I called they apologized lots but told me that they could not do this so I asked if they could give me some sort of refund, I thought maybe they might knock a few quid off but they refused to give me any kind of refund and instead told me they would give me a discount on my next meal with them, obviously this is no good to me when I am missing half my meal a future discount is not really going to cut it and as it would mean I would have to order from them again it is really only helping them. Fortunately Just eat were very helpful in resolving the issue and have me a credit which I promptly used to order from elsewhere

The chicken wings here are usually good and the fries were top notch. But recently they seemed to have changed the fries which are slightly thicker than the ones they had before which go soft quicker strangely. As well as the fries, they have redecorated the place and the menu seems different.

Moved to Croydon 4 months ago and I have used them once a week every week Very friendly
